First time I heard about crypto bitcoin was what was introduced to me that was way back 2015 the news kept spreading across the global crypto market and everyone seems to believe in their stock even at the worse point if you ask them why not in pains about your coin most of my friends will be like yes I’m in pain but I have to leave the money in the wallet that it will multiply x2 I will be like why are you so comfortable that it will get back he said to me that he have invested so many times and have not experienced loss “my questions “ is this possible and I made research I found out that is other crypto coins why is it that is only bitcoin that is more recognized in the crypto world is it because of the ceos or the. Bitcoin as the pioneer coin led the innovation of cryptocurrencies we see today. It is truly decentralized, that which cannot be said about most other coins. It is so decentralized that it does not have a CEO as you pointed out, only a founder, satoshi.
Its security which it gets from PoW is higher than that of other currencies, making it the most reliable. It has a limited supply while many other coins have infinite supply and the creators can just create more for themselves.

They do not have the same values as Bitcoin, but some of them have enough liquidity to allow easy exchange.
Let them do their research themselves and decide what to buy, but do not invest in altcoins as a sort of protest against bitcoin.

Bitcoin value is incomparable to other cryptocurrencies because of its decentralization, other coins are built in such a way that it could easily be manipulated by whales there by controlling the price movements of the coins. People looking to invest in other coins are either looking at the percentage of profits that could gain in short period of time. Some of this Altcoins can grow beyond 100x in a short period of time. Not only because Btc is the first cryptocurrency, your investment is also very secured with right wallet address (non-custodial). That's the first thing investors look at. However, not all who are first will remain first and not all who are last will remain last. Btc was the first but he remained the first until now. His popularity continues to grow especially Bitcoin payment can contribute to that. And what should old investors invest in, of course that cryptocurrency that has already been established is very low risk. It is also one of the contributors that Bitcoin continues to rise because of more investments, especially since Btc has a nice feature called "scarcity".

There's no other cryptocurrency that has the same value as Bitocin. But there are some coins that almost have the same volatility (has less volatility) with Btc because they also have huge marketcaps. Those coins are in the top 10 cryptocurrencies in coinmarketcap and are best to invest with.

because Bitcoin was the first. the market is ultimately oriented toward the price of Bitcoin. and the influence of the movement of Bitcoin is very large on altcoins.
If you or your friends want to invest in altcoins, it's possible and very easy to do. Regarding the value, of course different. as well as the level of risk that must be faced.

There is no bitcoin CEO, Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin and disappeared without a trace and that makes bitcoin more special from other cryptocurrencies because the government don’t have a person that can arrest or influence to do their bidding.

Bitcoin is very different from altcoins, bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that’s been consistent and has built trust for over a decade. Altcoins may give you quick profits but they are unreliable and can also rekt your account. I don’t think your friend should start investing in altcoins without doing his research.

Simply because it's the prime mover, the first crypto to be released, and so it gained a lot of attention early and with that, it has grown tremendously in the last 10 years or so. And not just in crypto, I mean in all facet of business, if you are the first one to invent something unique they you will have the full advantage and although there are a lot of crypto now, no project can replicate what Satoshi did and his invention. It was so unique that no one has thought about it before although there are a lot of precedence about crypto and his Bitcoin.

Why won't Bitcoin be in the spotlight when it's the only project that was started without intentions of profiting. Bitcoin came into existence to save humanity and not to make the pioneers rich as we have with the thousands of altcoins existing. Bitcoin is unique meanwhile the altcoins are just replicates of themselves, they aren't decentralized either as we have faces that if hurt could hurt the altcoins project so the project isn't total community owned. Advise your friend to get rid of that mentally as it isn't wise.

The wise investors has been accumulating Bitcoin and if you want a taste of the whales life then you should be buying Bitcoin as well. Ignore the altcoins, they won't stop coming so you'll always have different opportunity to invest in them in future. But as for Bitcoin, now is the best time to make all that matters I you buying them as future investment. I do think that bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency as it was an innovation in this kind of space. The fact that BTC continued to exist despite all of its challenges over the years speaks and implies on how it is essential and important to the future of our transactions.

Despite all the new altcoins being created introducing innovations throughout their system, BTC still remains at the top of the price. Its market share, liquidity and transaction history are still being sought after by investors and people in order to take advantage of its volatility either for short/long-term investment.

Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency ever created and other altcoins just follow the path of bitcoin, or I can say they failed to follow bitcoin. There is also some exception but nothing created so perfectly as bitcoin. As you said bitcoin is the base of cryptocurrency.

If your friend wants to invest in other coins it is better to have good research about the coin before investing money in them. Some of the coins have great potential but most of them are useless to me now.

Take a look at the CoinMarketCap's snapshot histories^[1] of every cryptocurrency that has ever existed in the market, and compare which crypto has stayed in the top 10 and which ones have been removed from the top list over the years.

From there, you will understand why Bitcoin is the safest asset you can find and why most people recommend it in the first place. Not to mention how clever Bitcoin's technology is compared to other cryptocurrencies, which are just copycats with no definite use case.
