Sounds like you are asking for confirmation for something you already know an answer to. You obviously know TA and know it's a good time. Obviously anything can happen and nothing is 100% sure but if you are looking only for 100% sure bets you are not going to make any money in here.

During the starting days of the ongoing year the price is around $16500 and today if is almost doubled. This is how the market moves, maybe it could move downwards.  If I were you, OP, I'd just stick with the DCA plan or buy some btc whenever you've got some spare cash.  It's a sanity saving option, because you'll drive yourself nuts if you keep thinking of all the profits you've missed.

Exactly the mistake most newbie like myself do when trying to invest in today's market, although I won't call myself a newbie again as the forum has develop me in terms of crypto knowledge.  Gone are those day when I would just sit and have a greedy feeling of how I missed a great opportunity to buy bitcoin when the price was really low and the profits I would have made,  but instead of whining about your lost opportunity it's better to start buying now (DCA). Bitcoin is a volatile currency and it's hard to predict the price changes, even the expected bull run is just mere speculations although previous stats have shown that it actually occur every four years after its previous ATH so buying now is not actually a bad time. The previous ATH was around 64-67k$, so  it's not too late to buy and hold for long term investment.

Regarding the bottom price, everyone missed the boat, I think for us or at least in my case, the best time is during the pandemic when the price is just $3k-$4k. Now we are above $28k, but the thing is that investing in bitcoin is also a cycle, so we can start right now at this bear market, because technically we are still in it. And then wait for the bull run in 2024-2025, 6 digits is the likely prediction or at least what the majority thinks the price will be as a new all time high.

I believe you're trying to say, the bottom is missed already because I don't see Bitcoin going back to below $17k. But that shouldn't stop you from investing because we're still closed to the bottom and this is a very good buying price when compared to where Bitcoin was trading at few years ago and if you would had bought at that price then you'll be in loss.

Also when you consider the upside and look at where the price could be in 2 years time which is 2025 (after the halving) then buying at this current price is a steal. You should never be concerned about buying the bottom or missing it instead just keep buying and holding.

I think that it's still a good price right now to invest in bitcoins, it's not cheap but also not expensive. There is no guarantee that you make a profit in the next 6 month or 1 year, however your chance to make a profit long term are good. Nobody can give you an exact estimate how much profit you are going to make, there is a lot of uncertainty with investing in crypto currencies. What I can tell you is that there aren't many good alternatives at the moment, the high inflation rate makes any money market funds or savings account bad investments. The outlook for stocks is not great either, cryptos are a better alternative. Don't wait too long until you start buying, with the DCA method you could be buying a constant amount every month for the next year. It's best to not worry so much about the perfect price to buy or sell, it's nearly impossible to get the timing right.

While the market can be very unpredictable at times and indeed was quite unpredictable in 2022 during market with LUNA/FTX implosions, it seem the market has become somewhat more predictable in recent months. Take for example the 200 Day MA that OP has referenced as an indicator for a trend reversal from bearish to bullish. Since price got above back in January, momentum has indeed continued to the upside. Likewise after a correction from $25K, price returned to the 200 DMA and turned it into support before breaking $25K and testing $30K resistance level. In this sense, these are relatively predictable outcomes.

We don't ever know what will happen in the future for sure, but it's possible to ascertain some probabilities based on Bitcoin's previous price performance, especially when price movements become more reliability in line with the most likely outcomes, as opposed to unreliable and therefore unpredictable. As for the current price of around $28K, price is very much consolidating under previous support zone as it acts as resistance for the time being. While there hasn't been a strong rejection, generally lump sum investing when price is at or under resistance isn't the best strategy imo. It would be better to DCA or wait for a pull-back.

I've said it elsewhere but this wouldn't be the time for a "quick flip" imo. Price could well move back upto $50K to $60K, or otherwise sink back down to the lows around $15K. So in summary there is a chance of price doubling of dropping in half, even if I think the odds of price moving to the upside is more likely, until the $30K resistance level is broken, there isn't enough confirmation of this. I think many speculators are also overlooking the reality that even if the bottom is in like many metrics suggest, it doesn't mean price won't re-test the lows before recovering. In fact this is what happened in 2015 rather than 2019.

I would say that you missed a lot of things here...I don't know where you are last year or even last month and I don't know if you are checking the market price as well. You don't need to ask if it is a good price to invest or not because you are actually investing in Bitcoin. Because if you live being doubtful, even if the price of Bitcoin reaches back to $10k, you're still not buying.
Well, most people just come during the recovery, and you are one of them. If you think and see the potential of Bitcoin, then don't waste any seconds but just buy it now. Stop looking for altcoins but rather focus on Bitcoin, or you urge yourselves to invest ETH and BNB...they are potential too.

Bitcoin reach 30k$ so it is possible that we are in a bull run season this is maybe a beginning of the next bull run and btc may reach another ATH, maybe there will be a correction so we still need to be careful and always set a limit on our investment not only in btc but also in altcoins investment.

I bet you trying to say that they will manipulate price based on them having this knowledge, but then again lets face it..as much as they know technical analysis and the alike that doesnt mean they trade like us the retail traders, them trading the double bottoms, the double tops etc i dont think so..these guys have an algorithmic way of trading which sometimes agrees with our retail way of trading not that they use it

But i suppose the market  makers can get naughty  sometimes just to flex their power and wipe our positions as they use this as liquidity  to move price where they want it.

As per Bitcoin prospects it may be more bullish in coming days. But 6 months or 1 year is not suitable time frame you mentioned for investing in Bitcoin. Because to invest in Bitcoin you must invest for a long time. Otherwise you may loss. And don't think you're missing the bottom either. Because the market can turn at any time. Both negative and positive issues are involved here. But I would suggest investing in bitcoins at this point rather than altcoins. Over a long period of time your investment will return which may not happen in any other currency.

DCA or directly at once it's up to you.
Invest as soon as possible even though the price is rising but this is still relatively low if you look at predictions for the next few years, and also not because of predictions but Bitcoin always has good fundamentals, and coupled with good momentum the price will fly high.
Only those who believe that Bitcoin will do very well in the years to come will jump right into the action by investing, but if constantly asking if it's the right time to start proves doubtful that BTC will be a profitable investment.

Bottom size is of course different, when i got to know bitcoin in 2014 i also regretted not buying more when the price was around $225, at that time i bought about 6 btc and i used it for cloud mining, HYIP and gambling, unfortunately i got scammed, i only left around 4 btc but I was able to sell 4 btc in 2016 and 2017 and totaled over $8500.
