I used blockfolio for the last a few years also i used coinmarketcap in short term but currently i'm using coingecko, it's user friendly interface and easy to accessible to track your coins. I will recommend coingecko because i think it’s provided so accurate data comparatively others tracker apps.
i dont know whether coingecko is truly better than coinmarketcap but honesty i think CMC is just better in term of data validty but i could be wrong, after all, both are equally popular.

I've been using an excel spreadsheet for years and I've finally decided to use a tracker app. I've heard coinstats and coinmarketcap are good. I've also heard there is a new platform launching soon called unlockstats. What would people recommend?
coinmarketcap is my recommendation, because you will feel comfortable using coinmarketcap for tracking your assets in cryptocurrency and of course the new altcoin will also be updated faster in coinmarketcap app compared to other tracking app, because I have used several tracking app and in my opinion the tracking app is the most convenient is coinmarketcap, therefore I advise you to try using coinmarketcap app as well to tracking your cryptocurrency assets. The use of coinmarketcap is widely used by many cryptopreneurs in this era because they are one of the most reliable source where any genuine and up to date crypto information can be source, but in doing so, we must also not forget that we are expected to do our own personal research and findings along to back it up, there are more than enough apps and websites we can use for tracking as long as we can make enough research on their reputation and recommendation for use.

If you will compare with popularity, still Coinmarketcap is most popular and viewed then Coingecko. I see in different cases as like accuracy of trading volume Coingecko is better then CMC i think. And i don’t like CMC for they didn’t delist SCAM,fake and dead projects. Otherwise CMC is most featured and updated coin tracker site still now.

Well, I can recommend coinmarketcap, this is a service that is becoming the first step in the world to investments for many cryptocurrency investors. The reason for this is the simplicity of applications, functionality and high popularity. The cryptocurrency market aggregator has become perhaps the most famous in the entire digital asset space.

The data provided by CG and CMC are sometimes different. I would say that if the fact that if how good the portfolio trackers depend on the personal view. It seems like that anyone has been writting their own perspective. As long as CG and CMC was not providing manipulated data and it's fine.

I used to like the Blockfolio so much, but then it was acquired by FTX, and everyone knows what happened to FTX and then the Blockfolio is gone, now just like everyone else, I am using CMC Portfolio tracker.

It seems like that anyone has been writting their own perspective. As long as CG and CMC was not providing manipulated data and it's fine. The data they are taking from the exchanges are causing this. That means it is not the difference between CG and CMC, it is the difference between exchanges. CMC takes it from Binance whenever they can, and that's an important part of it, whereas when we are talking about CG they take it from all kinds of places, basically like take an average of the exchanges and such, which means when one changes, the entire price changes as well. So if it is at 1.04 dollars at Binance it is 1.04 dollars at CMC, but then CG could show other stuff and the price could be 1.07 on average when you check all of them. That's why it is quite important to note down your own entry and that would help you a lot, and your exchanges prices as well, because that's where you will sell it.

Why should we rely on just two entries for us to use as tracker when there are many tracking indications, softwares, websites and nots we could make use of, though not all of them could be as this accurate as expected but we need to make an additional efforts in researching towards these results from our own personal findings before concluding, coingecko is another good tracking means that has been found reliable and used over time by many investors and traders in cryptocurrency.

Am okay with coingecko, it is all in one user friendly app to I just result to using the portfolio tracker as well instead of having to download a separate app just for that purpose. Before it was blockfolio but I no longer want to harbour ao much similar app on my device so I settle for coingecko.

If you've been using an Excel spreadsheet for years and are looking to switch to a tracker app, popular options like CoinStats and CoinMarketCap are recommended by many. However, since UnlockStats is a new platform launching soon, it would be wise to wait for reviews and user feedback before making a decision. It's important to choose a tracker app that suits your specific needs and provides accurate and reliable data.

CMC also similar to it, i wonder why someone need some standalone portfolio app meanwhile they could just get it all in one and the app and features is pretty much the same except you can get coin list in the same app unlike some other portfolio tracker.

same here, blockfolio is like the first portfolio tracker that i got, and I think they are quite convenient, then later on switched over to other portfolio tracker and finally settles with CMC, considering the fact it's backed up by binance, just getting tired from choosing various portfolio tracker while really they are the same.

Regarding CMC, it does have complete features and not just portfolios. Also similar is CoiGecko and I use both. using more than one portfolio is not a problem for me, I even tried several new portfolios, and only compared which one had the best and more complete features. Blockfolio was also the first one I used because at first it was the most complete and the only one I knew about.

since the first time I played crypto until now I mostly use CMC. there is no particular reason why I prefer CMC over other crypto portfolio tracker platforms, maybe because CMC is the first crypto portfolio tracker platform I know. It doesn't matter if you want to use another platform, the important thing is the altcoin you want to search for is listed on that platform.

For the sake of accesibility and comfort, I'm using coinmarketcap app as a tracker to my phone. I'm using an IOS and their widgets is pretty handy in my case. I know that they can pull out our data anytime this is why I don't indicate the whole amount of investment I have. I do remove one decimal point of my total assets just to be safe. There are better portofolio app out there but coinmarketcap app is just so handy for ke, just like coin gecko app which is what I'm using before.

Most of the suggestions are using a prominent centralized or closed-source platform. I don't blame that since I do aware most of them have good features and excellent conveniences. Nevertheless, If someone wants to seek a portfolio tracker that truly protects user privacy, I encourage all of you to utilize an open-source solution. One application that I am aware of is Rotki. I know that some users who take their own privacy consciously are using this tool to manage their own portfolios. A lot of features( https://rotki.com/#features) are available to manage anything related to cryptocurrency usage. If anyone considering which app to use, it would not hurt to take a look at this tool.

It is very easy to track your portfolio now, you can use the free resource from Coingecko and co and for onchain portfolio tracker you can use Debank or Metamask, they are both good. Just be careful with all these new portfolio trackers popping up especially the onchains one that you will likely give permission to your account, if you click a scam link, your account will be drained immediately, just stick will the knowns and you will be fine.

honestly i don't think there are any better apps out there, they could be having some gimmicks but thats it, whats matters most from these apps in general are the data they are presenting not some gimmicky features.
