they are not much crypto casino fully functional in my locality but the I can certainly say that the pandemic really affected fiat based casino that involves the use of cash to bet. Another event that affected  local casino in my place was the recent development on changing of the fiat currency in my country, it made alot of business to close down and this was due to the shortage of cash in every area of the country and this lead wonder, if they had been a crypto casino that is functional in my country, i would have and it would have led these fiat gambling casinos to loose alot of their customers. But the shortage of cash now cause everyone to create online fiat gambling platform where can easily get access to gamble.

It's not about the cost is higher, but you're need to find the loophole to buy it. It's true you can buy Bitcoin using No KYC P2P or DEX, but if you're link your bank account, it doesn't make a lot difference if you're want to achieve 100% privacy.

Crypto casino is better than fiat casino in terms of security, if you're gamble on fiat casino you're have a risk of being targeted by criminal especially you win a big amount money.

I think a lot of the crypto casinos grew was because of the fact that you can get funds in and out of them easier then with traditional fiat ones.
You don't have to worry about your bank or whatever service you need to use to move the money.
There are a lot more ways to convert fiat to crypto and back then get money from your bank to an online casino.

Even in places where it is 100% state licensed and regulated some banks still do not allow those kinds of transactions. You can go to an ATM in a physical casino and take out to your daily limit, but move $50 to Caesars online through ACH and you get an account hold...

Coine to think of this where do you think these Cryptocurrency gamblers come from, all of them did not start gambling because of Cryptocurrency, they came from fiat-based online casinos and they just transfer their gambling activity to Cryptocurrency casinos, because they find it easy and fast and their privacy is well protected, there are still some traditional fiat gamblers but Cryptocurrency based casinos ruling the gambling industry, it's only a matter of time before they will transfer to Crypto casinos.

Yeah. I think it wont be easy for crypto casinos to completely churn fiat casinos in the near future. Fiat casinos have been around for a long time and many people still prefer the familiarity that comes with using traditional currency. Also, there are still barriers to entry for many people who are interested in using crypto for gambling like if they are not familiar with how to buy and use cryptocurrencies and there are still concerns about security and regulation in the crypto world.

I think fiat and crypto casino can totally just coexist.

Crypto casinos have increased a lot in popularity during and after the pandemic, but they still can't beat online fiat casinos, which are more popular, probably due to sponsoring lots of sports' tournaments and championships around the world. I think that existing crypto and fiat casinos cannot really be put together into the same basket. They might be casinos but they are completely different as well. If the crypto casinos banked on that knowledge and used it to market to the fiat casino fans then they must have created a marketing plan which would make help the transition along. Everybody at one point or the other have what actually pleases them and I've seen a friend who doesn't want to be told about cryptocurrency and doesn't want to get associated with anything cryptocurrency and he is doibg just very fine and happy and when I asked so deep into his reasons and he narrated how he was scammed of over thirty thousand dollar converted in my local currency then you'll understand that's a very huge amount and can possibly change someone's life and then he swien neber to get involved in any crypto project and he also gambles alot but basically through fiat and he actually doesn't care about privacy and kyc and that's one exemple and there are alot of people still feeling very comfortable with local and traditional fiat payment methods of casinos and I don't think crypto will easily chum fiat casinos not anytime soon.

What is clear is that cryptocurrency casinos are taking market share away from fiat casinos, as if the former did not exist, business would shift to the latter. However, I think that what the OP is suggesting is unlikely if we are talking about a big transfer, as there are people who only bet in fiat casinos, have never used cryptocurrencies and have a great distrust of them, and these people are not going to switch to crypto casinos, especially not overnight.

Cryptos are still like a fiat, both are still currencies and then both crypto and fiat casinos are still the same casinos so I don't think one is taking away the market share of the other. Crypto casinos are in fact helping the fiat casinos to grow more.

There are first time gamblers who play in crypto and they are curious about how fiat and physical casinos work so they will also try it. The number of fiat online casinos have grown by huge percent, I think that's also because of the crypto casinos. In general I feel that once people learn how to use cryptocurrency and realize the liberties they offer, it is hard to go back to FIAT, specially if we are talking about people who does not have access to reliable payment processors and cards.

So, I would say that crypto casinos still need to find new ways to appeal towards FIAT gambler who may believe they do not need to buy a satoshi in their whole lifes. I would personally go with the privacy features, the money management (helps to avoid credit card abuse) and the low transaction fees (in the most of the chains). There are so many benefits in the cryptocurrency world that is why those people that had tested the market successfully with profits would never want to go for fiat again. It is very obvious that crypto has so many opportunities for people to embrace compared to fiat that can nit give us profit by holding or keeping it. As a cryptocurrency investors, we know what we are benefiting from the market and that makes us proud and happy to keep buying and selling to make profits in the market. Very soon when the light circulate many people that had been against cryptocurrency would come and see the light by themselves.

I generally do not relate glambing with cryptocurrency investing, they are quite different things. If a gambler who for most of their life used their credit card to deposit on their favorite casinos discovered the benefits of Bitcoin, I assume they would initially stick around because the independence the network has from the usual trust system which keeps the banks going, added to the other things I already mentioned.

Gamblers can be investors and investors can be gamblers but I doubt anyone moves from Fiat to Bitcoin being both at the same time.
