The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) for we country don give d go ahead to 173 digital lending applications to take operate for we country, 119 of dem get full approval and 54 of them collect conditional approval. Na since last year wey the FCCPC  comot registration and d wey these loan app go operation because of how dem take dey harass Nigerians untop loan. We government make am compulsory say any loan company must register their business before dem operate. Na this March 27, 2023 wey just pass so na him be d deadline wey dem put for registration. As the deadline don pass now, the FCCPC come release the list of the apps wey dem approve. As e be now, dem go commot apps wey dem nor approve from Google play store. This one still follow wey make Google Play Store update their Developer Program Policy to talk say if you wan run loan business for Naija, you need to obey the regulatory rules for digital money lenders.
Still if you dey borrow make you use your head.

I am happy that OP took the time to organize this list, because we needed it without knowing.  I for one has had my fair share of treatment meted from these loan apps and even been a reference contact for some friends who dropped my contact without my notice.
Now that economic palava has been the major talk as we witness rises in prices and charges, in order to avoid insult from lending from others who have little to spare, a revisit to using loans apps for survival now suffices.

I hope the verification process or KYC process doesn't require the most intricate details or account statement, so as it proves difficult to borrow from them?

One development that I will like to see in Nigeria with all these tech and app developers who have constantly developed loan apps and other financial technologies to carry out both good and bad services such as the scam loaning apps that are voliating the rights of the citizens and all the other negative vibes in the financial sector in Nigeria, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have played a great role in providing alternative means of financial transactions and this has proven significantly successful in the past few years.

I want to see an app where I can spend my Bitcoin using Bitcoin to make financial transactions such as payments to third-party banks since that loan app has developers that can access any one phone number if allowed by the party at the time of request of loan, why not chanel that energy into developing something more useful.

I know that there are individuals who make this their style to collect loans from multiple loan apps with no intention to pay back which is bad, but on another angle and knowing how those money lenders in the old operate, it is possible that these loan apps and the people behind it use fetish means to ensure that paying back is difficult so they can make good profit from the interest that accumulates whenever you miss a deadline.

Point of correction Oga. Eh be like say you dey misunderstand something for here, bcos wetin we dey talk about for here na "loan apps" and not Ponzi schemes such as "MMM & Twinkas", bcos those are two different tin.

While secondly, make govt no ban any loan app abeg, bcos that tin dey really help university students in times of need wan sapa don hold them and yet mama/papa never send rubbers for them.
