Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
It might be a waste of time if we explain at length about the advantages and truths of bitcoin to people who are personally not too willing to invest in it, however much we convince them and explain in as much detail as possible to them, but usually people like that will also be looking a thousand reasons to ignore our explanation, there is no need to force anyone else to invest in bitcoin because if that person really intended then I think he would have done it even without us explaining it.

It's a bit hard to convince a person of positive things in crypto currencies without knowing anything about him. If it's a stranger why even bother trying to convince him to invest his money into bitcoins? We don't need the whole world to hold bitcoins, it's fine if only some people actually use it. I assume it's a friend of yours and you would like him to invest in bitcoins as well, which is nice of you to help your friend. Bitcoin has a lot of positive features that we should list as pro arguments for cryptos, being independent from the financial industry and governments probably the most important one. When talking to your friend you should find out why he is so sceptical in general about bitcoins and what is the main concern he has about them. It makes it easier to find counter arguments directly for his concerns. I would expect he has some security issues as bitcoins are not physically in his wallet when he buys them. If you tell him about all the different types of wallets and that the security is his hands he should be relieved.

What I would do is probably explain to that person the potential of high returns in buying bitcoin, with the market history that bitcoin has, it's not that hard to see that the potential is there. If they're concerned about the legality then tell them that they don't have to worry because it's already being regulated in a lot of countries. There are other things that you can do but right now, I think that you need to ease them up before anything else, answer their burning questions to put them at ease and make them reconsider. Ultimately, you're just providing them your view and clearing the air, the decision should still be up to them.

Convincing a skeptical person to buy Bitcoin can be challenging, as they may have concerns about its reliability, security, and potential for financial loss. However, you can still bring up some points that may help you persuade them. like telling the person fundamental of bitcoin, suggesting to the person to start small and trying to address his or her concern.

I don't really like convincing someone about what I have or something I admire. because if it's like that it looks like you are forced to participate in investing in bitcoin, and I have avoided things like that until now.
bitcoin does not need to be proclaimed like that, without any promotion on purpose bitcoin will still be widespread.
Same here because for me it's only an added obligation plus we don't know the consequences of doing this. What if these people did something wrong but choose to blame us instead? We will end up using our Bitcoins in no time to compensate them. I think I will only lend them a help if they are the ones who approach me but first I will give them a disclaimer that they must accept the risk and they won't blame me if something bad happened to them. When we talk about Bitcoin, it does not automatically mean to invest with it because there are still other uses of Bitcoin.

No one is forced to invest in Bitcoin but people are willingly doing it because they already figured out that Bitcoins price can rise into a higher level. Without promotions, BTC adoption can still grow but it will only be in a slower rate. It's fine for me but I don't know about the others.

For me, there’s no need to convince a person that is showing skeptical to bitcoin. At the end of the day, he will only believe his own words, and not from a bitcoin enthusiast. So it would be a waste of time if I pursue on that, I would rather educate those who show eagerness to learn than to convince people who are mostly not open minded especially in an innovation like bitcoin. Let him be a devotee of fiat, let’s see if he will stick to it when most of the people are already successful with bitcoin.

First of all, why would you be convincing people to invest in Bitcoin? Allow them to have the initiative to do so. We are all taking the risk in this industry given that there's no certainty of what will happen to this market for the next days, months, or years. Convincing ain't my thing; you'd be blame from doing so once they fell to something which would yield to a negative outcome.

Next is, a sceptical individual doubts everything unless proven. Validity and feasibility of something will be questioned and just imagine how much time you will need to make them buy something; they'd more likely have huge assumption if you ever managed to get through them. Keep in mind how hard it is to endure market price downfalls. If you know to yourself that the individual you are trying to convince won't be patient and won't be capable of financial endurance, then consider not pushing them in this industry just to safezone them from regrets.

I quite agree with this, especially for people who are skeptical of bitcoin, convincing them that it will only be a condition where we will only be tired of giving facts but will never be considered.
The conditions will not change because when we already have skepticism about something, we certainly will never accept conditions where the data and facts exist because indeed we are only focused on bad prejudice. Likewise for those who really don't like bitcoin, no matter how hard we explain and create a good image of bitcoin, they still won't accept it because their prejudice will clearly outweigh their attitude of acceptance.

First of all, why would you be convincing people to invest in Bitcoin?

I feel the same as you. I tried to convince many people to buy bitcoin in early days. Now I feel that you can only teach them about bitcoin and after that they will have to decide for themselves. Honestly many people do not understand bitcoin enough to trust their money into this system. Still everyone should know for themselves.

Well, for me, I wont try to convince a skeptical person to believe or invest in bitcoin, bitcoin has succeeded and will gain massive adoption in its due time, with or without them, so trying to convince a skeptical person is not really worth my time and efforts.

And besides, Doing this is even risking the reputation/respect they have for you, imagine convincing someone who really do not want to invest or buy bitcoin to do so, and after a couple of days or weeks, something happens and this causes bitcoin to lose alot of its usd value, you will definitely become a bad friend or family member to such a person, as they will get to blame you for their supposed loss, this is one of the kinds of stress I don't want in my life.

Well, for me, I wont try to convince a skeptical person to believe or invest in bitcoin, bitcoin has succeeded and will gain massive adoption in its due time, with or without them, so trying to convince a skeptical person is not really worth my time and efforts.

I also think it is a waste of time to convince people when they are not interested but in they are skeptical, I think there is a chance since they are half hearted, 50% want to and 50% don't want to.  I believe the best tool to convince them is by providing personal testimonies and proof of success.

This can be solved by thoroughly educating them and making them know that all faults and failure is done by the person's decision and has nothing to do with you.  Also, educating him on the possible risk and problems that may encounter when diving into Bitcoin investment.  Also,  giving them the solution to the possible problem can help a lot in preserving the reputation and respect of the convincing person.

Stock market and similar can only be traded in certain hours of the day, Monday to Friday. That sounds archaic to me, Bitcoin can be traded 24/7 as you would expect in the Internet era.

Bank transfers are slow, particularly international ones. In an Internet connected world, there shouldn't be country barriers. Moving money from one country to another is expensive and requires you to wait "X business days". With Bitcoin you can transfer money anywhere in the world, and you can do it on the weekend, on holidays, any time.

Sometimes your bank doesn't allow you to use your own money. You went for holidays and didn't tell your bank? they can freeze your account for "your safety". Now you are in a foreign land without access to your own money. Bitcoin is always yours, you never need to ask permission to use your own money with Bitcoin.

And so many other things, for example inflation. If you keep your money in your bank account it slowly (or sometimes not that slowly) loses its value over time. With Bitcoin it actually increases its value over time.

There are several other reasons why Bitcoin can be a good investment and a sound financial choice. i.e., Decentralization, Transparency, Security, Limited supply (As there will only ever be 21 million Bitcoins in existence, which means that it is a scarce asset), and Low transaction fees. Overall, these are just a few of the reasons why Bitcoin can be an excellent financial choice.

And everyone already knows this so much that it has become a commonplace. Those who are still afraid to start using bitcoin will not be convinced by ordinary words, their meaning needs to be explained. And in no case do not push. If a person sees the advantage of using bitcoins, then he himself will start using them, and if he does not understand, he will lose and then blame those who put pressure on him.

Bitcoin is liked by many people, but not everyone, the proof is that there are still many people who hate bitcoin. So to make people who hate bitcoin become happy, it is very difficult, because most of the bitcoin supporters from the start really liked the system and how bitcoin works. so it must be very difficult to make people who do not like bitcoin to like bitcoin.

Obviously, I'm not in line with convincing someone to invest into Bitcoin, but would let the person get to knowing what Bitcoin is all about and I will leave them to take their decision to invest, hence whatsoever thing that happens to the invested funds on the process, basically if the investment goes not, you will be the first to get the blame, because people likey blame people when they do not succeed and forgets people that helped them succeed.

I've come across some people who don't believe in the long term potential of bitcoin. One of the assumptions they make about bitcoin is that it's just a money game that will eventually turn out to be a scam. Someone set up bitcoin and its network to make it valuable, some kind of giant ponzi scheme. I know you all will disagree with their assumptions, it happened to me too. Obviously I know their assumption is wrong, but they stick with it even though I've explained how it works.

About them, I just don't bother to make them understand and acknowledge what the truth is, it's just a waste of time. Neither of us need to force someone to believe in bitcoin when they don't like it, so better leave some people like that and move on with others.

Yes, the best way to convince the sceptical people about bitcoin is to allow them be and let them see the results and hear the testimony on their own. A sceptical person may believe that you have something to gain by trying to convince them to buy bitcoins, leaving them without over stressing them to join will show that you only had their interest at heart and nothing to gain. If a sceptical person forcefully starts using bitcoins because of you, they will blame at every opportunity.

This is the safest method to promote bitcoins and to avoid the blames of the people once the market is currently experiencing volatility which most of the newbies panic when they see it. The only thing you can help them with is to share with them some knowledge you have learned these past few years from this community especially how to prevent themselves from getting scammed from these multiple tactics by crooks and scammers with their Ponzi Schemes. Other than that is up to them to decide because it's really hard to even for ourselves when it comes to investment, especially with money.

I totally agree with these, sceptical persons on bitcoin investing will always found arguments just to make them don't go forward with the decision of investing into it. The only thing that we can do is just educate them with your first hand experience and let them know all the advantages and disadvantages of investing into it. They should first know what they are entering to. So that, the final decision would be coming from them, and we have no way and any rights to force them to buy when it's against their understanding and assessment. It is their money to invest so they have all the right to be sceptical, so you don't have to suggest right away a decision to invest, just present all the positive and negative facts about it. It is really a tough decision when money is involved since it may be part of your hard earned money so we all should be cautious on every decision that we do and always do your own analysis based on different information regarding it.
