How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ?

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?

I guess it's totally normal for them not to believe in it I mean, why do we even believe in Bitcoin? Because we know bitcoin we know its potential, we know the market, we know its structure, we have experience on bitcoin, maybe because we already earn on bitcoin, etc.

If you are someone who doesn't believe in Bitcoin maybe because you don't know what it is right. So the best thing to do is to teach them about it, which might change their perspective on Bitcoin. I agree that education is needed and could be a good thing if it's going to be taught to students or even in seminars, but sure the government will not teach Bitcoin because they support banks.

I believe that providing them with education is the best thing you can do to help them avoid falling victim to these con artists that use cryptocurrencies as the foundation for their Ponzi schemes. Regarding persuading, you are correct that it is not a good idea to do so because the market's volatility could cause the person to lose his temper and place the entire blame on you. The best thing you can do is to tell him everything and to make sure he understands how unpredictable the cryptocurrency market is. You also need to clear your name of any guilt by distancing yourself from any decisions he might make after you've given him the knowledge he needs.

precisely! as for me, i am not that kind of person who persuades other person even if they don't like it just to raise awareness. initially, there is no way that other person will really do what you told then to do specially when we say there is money involve, and even if they do, they will keep on bothering you asking when are they going to earn the profit.

Convincing someone with cliched theories is a bad idea and just a waste of both of their time. I failed to give advice without any real proof. Instead, I showed them off by showing them how my life is changing by investing in bitcoin. To be honest, since then they started to trust me, but since then I am no longer interested in teaching them to invest because it is not my responsibility. Don't try to convince someone if even you yourself don't have any benefit from investing in bitcoin. Our society is very pragmatic, if you don't have results, then you say no one will believe, and vice versa.

I don't think you are responsible for changing someone's mindset towards bitcoin, especially when they are skeptical of it.
There is no point in convincing them, educating them, forcing our point of view to be accepted and whatever. They will remain skeptical of bitcoin because they are not inherently people who like decentralized financial systems.

I tend to think of saving more energy for more useful things rather than changing the mindset of someone who is skeptical about bitcoin. There is nothing to argue about because in most cases they will not change their mindset for a long time and continue to insist that their point of view is correct. I don't think I need to convince a skeptical person to invest in Bitcoin. I will not go forward suggest that "person to invest in Bitcoin". If ever any such person comes to me for suggestion or advice then I will say him the positive sides of Bitcoin, if he likes then he will invest in it, it totally depends on his intelligence. They will not be interested on it if they do not have deep reason on spending time learning about it. If there is someone who will introduce someon who will introduce me on something I don't fully understand and I do not have interested on it, the 1st thing that I will do is to ignore it. I will only cater them if the topic that they brought is something interesting and I have curiousity over it. This scenarios can also be applied to everyone especially if they are old not that techie they will have a hard time on becoming interested to buy and learn about bitcoin.

That is also the reason why I never force anyone to invest in it because I understand the risk of it like there is always uncertainty all over the market.
