Ok, so you also wants to criticize me advice, but then give a real advice, instead of saying common and obvious things like "without trying, you never know what it be", "leave comfort zone" and so on and so forth. How to convince a skeptical person then? "Not ready - dont force" sounds like you are quick to give up on convincing.

Any initiative can be punishable, so I am of the opinion that with regard to skeptics, it is simply not worth discussing with them. They have their own point of view and they are simply not ready to accept bitcoin yet.

I am convinced that if a person is set up negatively, then there is simply no point in convincing him of something. Bitcoin will do everything by itself, some time will pass and its acceptance will become obvious to everyone. Yes, at that time it may be too late for a skeptic to invest in bitcoin, since it will become much more expensive, but it will be his choice and his decision.

For the skeptics, bitcoin really doesn't need those types of people either so I think it would be wasteful and boring to keep trying to convince them. Even persuading them would make us mentally exhausted, so I won't do that stupid thing. Instead, we should take our investment and find a way to help those with a more bitcoin-friendly stance, that will be more than worthy of our time. Our lives are full of things to take care of, so don't waste time with people who always doubt us when we try to help them.

I see that the proper way to convince a skeptical person is to take his risk on your account (cover his losses). Let him invest his money, set a date when you plan to check Bitcoin price and sell it. If the price is lower, you repay a price difference. If the price is higher, that person takes everything. Repeat that until he starts to believe. Talking, giving examples, showing charts and etc wont work. Persons skepticism is in fear. Once there is not fear of loosing, he will believe and do everything.

Investing in bitcoin is for his benefit, if he doubts, let him regret more in the future. I won't do it because it doesn't benefit me, even makes me lose if his investment loses. I think we don't have to, it's not our responsibility. If people doubt bitcoin, let them regret it in the future. I'm in favor of recommending bitcoin to others, that's a good thing. But being willing to make up for someone's losses is a bad idea.

But how else then one person can persuade other person to invest if that person have doubts? Saying that he will regret not investing also does not look good. It is as if forcing someone to invest. But covering possible losses might show how I trust in price growth. That proves that I am so much sure in Bitcoin, that I risk my own money for other persons chance to earn. And that person who we helped to earn through investing might be so thankful, that he might even share a little part of his profit.

It's better not to give any advice or try to convince someone to invest in bitcoin, and I wouldn't be willing to cover their losses if their investment is lost. I also don't think it's a good idea, because investing in bitcoin means they are making money for themselves, they are responsible for their own decisions and assets.

If they want to make money, they need to step out of their comfort zone. Success requires trade-offs, that's the rule of life, and you can't protect them all your life. And if they're not ready, don't force them.

Also, I have never said that with that "loss protection" I am going to protect them for whole life. Take a situation when a kids learns to ride a bicycle. Parent helps them to ride for first time, first meters. Or small two wheel on side of back wheel. I am (my advice to recover first loss) that little wheel/parent that helps them to make first step.

That's right, like I said, I'm not going to offer any advice or convincing, let alone I'm going to give up convincing someone pretty quickly. I think such doubters are not worth my time with them.

Everyone has a different view of life, I am not criticizing and saying what you do is wrong because I am not you. But I just think that what you do will not bring any benefit to either of you. Because we are all adults and need to make our own decisions rather than need to be covered to survive.

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
There is no reason to convince people to choose Bitcoin because everyone has their own beliefs how they can believe in something. Not everyone believes Bitcoin as one of the currencies, that's not true in my opinion because we still need Fiat currency, we only believe Bitcoin as the best investment at the moment.

At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
That is the advantage of bitcoin because we are the sole owner and are not controlled by anyone, bitcoin is also able to maintain value in the long term as an investment and price fluctuations can bring us to the stage of perfection in investing, if we understand the investment pattern and know how to analyze bitcoin journey.

Trying to convince someone, especially a friend, to do something, and especially in the financial field, is the worst thing you can do because it can actually ruin relationships and even lives. You should explain why YOU decided to buy bitcoin (or any type of asset/investment) and then let them decide whether they want to do the same or not and make sure that there is no way they can blame you for something in case things go south.

One of Satoshi's most famous quotes is "If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry", so why should you?

So in short, your point is that it is not just impossible to convince a skeptical person, but it is not worth even trying, because everyone have their own life and point of view. I partly share that. I think that it is incorrect to impose own point of view to someone, but topic task was to find a way to change one persons point of view. Have you ever tried to change one persons point of view? If yes, then did you succeed and how do you manage to do that?

If you want someone to change their mind and believe what you say, you should prove it to them instead of spending too much time convincing them with theory. I'm not in the habit of having to convince or advise someone because I'm not them, I'm not in their situation, so I can't know what advice would be best for them.

The way that I convince people is by proof, for example when talking about bitcoin. You cannot convince someone to invest in bitcoin when even you have not succeeded in investing in bitcoin. But if you become rich, and have positive results, you don't need to convince them, they will find you on their own. A loser cannot advise a successful person, and a person with an income of $100 cannot teach a person with a $1,000 income to get rich.

no need to explain too much just introduce him to Bitcoin and after Bitcoin goes up he knows what to do.  Talking too much makes them think it's a scam.  Everything needs to happen as naturally as possible and take time as well.

At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice?

Just tell them everything. Not only the positive side, but the both. The profits that you have gained also the loses you have made during your journey. Gains and loses are a part of the system. Ask them if they still have the courage to hold on even after learning all of that.
Choosing bitcoin as an option should be people's own choice. You can never force something to someone and wish for them to dedicate their self to it. If only they choose it on their own free will, you can teach them more what you know about it. Otherwise, there's no chance of teaching them.
Spread the knowledge, I will say. Nothing more you can do here. If they choose, they will come to learn more.

Sometimes I'm amazed at the level people go to do things, what is the need or essence of you convincing this individual? I know that it is out of love that you're doing this thing but I will tell you that your testimony about Bitcoin will make them what to be involved, generally, people believe what they see.

if you ask my opinion, i will simply explain it. first of all, i suggest you to do not force other people to buy bitcoin if do not want to be blamed if they are lost (of profit / investment value). But if you just answers the information for their questions about bitcoin is no problem to do. Or even sharing a non provocative information of bitcoin is good to do.

The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
yeah i would add a point. Bitcoin is easier way to do transactions across the countries without any third party so it may take easier and less fee. you can present this aspect as additional information while sharing about bitcoin.

There is no reason to convince them. They will join us when they're ready.

Most of us have been brainwashed when it comes to BTC. "Normal" people don't have this mindset and there is a even bigger % who don't even understand it. You telling them the benefits of what they don't understand gives them no benefit nor shouldn't convince them to use BTC over traditional currency.

At the end of the day most normal people don't have interest in BTC other than to make a profit. You tell a person about all the benefits of blockchain and BTC and they don't care but you tell them you 50x your money then they will drop their whole life savings into it and become a twitter moon boi.

The general public is happy with a fiat system and the ones who aren't are already here. You ask a person about BTC and most of the time the answer is "Oh I wish I bought some at X amount" or "I had 100BTC back in 2013, wish I saved them" they only care about the wealth it brings not the advantages.

You know, people who have nature’s way of being skeptic will still end up being skeptical no matter how you educate them. So never waste your time convincing them, just wait until they become ready to be educated and start trusting bitcoin. If they won’t reach that point, I guess that’s not our loss but theirs. Soon they will regret missing an opportunity when it’s already in front of them just waiting to be taken advantage.

The rule of thumb when you want to increase the awareness of BTC is by explaining the fundamentals behind it. Let me point it out- you should never convince or force anyone to invest in BTC especially if they know little-to-nothing about it.

When you convince or force someone, you are basically telling them to invest into something without them even understanding what they are delving in the first place.

The best way is for you to explain your idea on why investing is a good idea on BTC and you let them decide for themselves whether to invest or not. In this method, you are actually letting them think for themselves rather than spoon-feeding them with ideas.

On hearing a word, there are people who believe in it. Same time there are people who keep on finding flaws and stay skeptic for no reason. It is our duty to just educate what we have come through and what all we've experienced in terms of profit as well as the risk associated with it. Later part is to be left for them whether to believe and get into the market or just stay away finding flaws. There are people who can't be satisfied through any means, because they're being grown in such a way that you shouldn't believe anyone.

Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.

Trying to convince someone to buy BTC is like networking and scammy shade. Since I like to post Crypto in my social media walls, some of those skeptical to BTC are reaching me out thru private message.

no need to explain too much just introduce him to Bitcoin and after Bitcoin goes up he knows what to do.  Talking too much makes them think it's a scam.  Everything needs to happen as naturally as possible and take time as well.

Agree, the more we try to convince others, the more they think we are just trying to scam them. The best way is to let them see the growth of bitcoin and they will know what to do after that. Although now is a good time to invest because the price is quite cheap, but there is no need to rush, if they have not invested now, give them more time.

Its too hard to teach a person who has a different perspective of mind you cannot do anything unless you change their way of thinking, but the pride and ego you are against, better to save your energy for the person who really wants to know about bitcoin stop pleasing other people to make an investment with the bitcoin if they really don't want to, it's on their mistake if they miss out the chance of the bitcoin and other opportunities in crypto and you are no regrets that you told them about the existence of it.

Don't even bother doing that, you may not succeed at it.
You can force a person to buy something they don't believe in. Been skeptical shows that they don't believe in it and it make take a lot to convince them otherwise.

Why is it dangerous to convince someone to buy BTC when despite their skeptism is that what if there is a downward trend? They will blame you for it.

So the best you can do is try to educate them about it, then leave them to their conviction.

yes, almost everyone who follows developments in the digitalization era like today will recognize bitcoin as a means of payment that can replace Fiat money in transactions, but there are also individuals who have skepticism about the development of bitcoin. and in my opinion, there is no need to convince and give understanding to someone who is skeptical about bitcoin, because basically these skeptics only see bitcoin as something that is uncertain. therefore it is not important to convince people who still have a skeptical attitude towards Crypto or bitcoin in particular

I think that trying to convince anyone who is skeptical is a bad idea. They would see the attempt of someone trying to convince them of something, especially something which has to do with them investing money, as a an attempt at scamming them somehow.

No matter how well-structured and logical your arguments are, some people push back harder the more you try to convince them.

I believe the best method of dealing with those kinds of people is to just show them your positive history with Bitcoin. Show them proof of how Bitcoin has helped you. Especially show them your return on investment (ROI).

No better way to convince someone than to show them hard proof.
