When do you think Bitcoin will hit $1 million for the first time?

If there are people who are able to determine when bitcoin will touch that price, then more and more people will buy bitcoin, the problem is price fluctuations and no one can guarantee. Questions like this are more about belief and why bitcoin should be taken as an investment opportunity, whereas for the price of bitcoin it doesn't matter when we will see it at that price.

Basically no one can give the right answer to determine the price / value of Bitcoin, by having the fluctuating nature of Bitcoin, of course it cannot be predicted exactly, no one can determine the price or value of Bitcoin from both governments, companies and certain organizations, Bitcoin running freely under everyone's control. it's true if this is more referred to as belief now there is an opportunity to invest, actually it's not just that this is the right time, long ago it was a good time to invest.

No one can predict exactly when bitcoin will reach $1 million USD, but speaking of cycles there is a possibility that for the next ATH bitcoin will approach that price. But there is also no certainty whether we will see in the next cycle or in the year as you mentioned.

This is a very big predictive target, reaching $1 million USD is a big target, even though it basically takes a long time this is still a very long way to go. so far no one can predict it, either when or in what year he (Bitcoin) will reach it, Bitcoin has its own cycle chart, and Bitcoin will continue to run on the line, and maybe to reach it Bitcoin will penetrate its new ATH, maybe it will be close to the amount mentioned by the OP.

Oh boy.  I don't follow this section much, so maybe there have been threads like this going on all the time but IMO the better speculative question to be asking is when bitcoin will hit a new ATH and not necessarily one that's many multiples higher than its current one--it's 'only' at $30k after all, and there's no telling if the price is going to continue to appreciate or if we're going to see another crash.

But if I had to play along and answer the question....Jesus, I don't know.  Every other time I've made predictions as to when bitcoin is going to hit $X, I've been way too conservative.  $1k, $10k, $50k, those have all been reached well before I thought they would've been.  So $1 million?  Eh.  Five to ten years, maybe?  But that might heavily depend on whatever future regulations come about and how quickly the wild west days disappear (which has been happening slowly but surely).  Or perhaps not, but that's how I see it. 

And LOL, even if it hit a million tomorrow I still wouldn't have enough to buy a car with the amount of bitcoin I own.  That's pretty damn sad, wouldn't you say?

They may forget that $1m is too high to reach, but of course there is always possible. It makes sense to talk about ATH instead of when that $1m is, for me those expectations are too hard to be real.  :v

I'm personally drawing on how the new ATH is hitting, it's a bit tough considering the poor economic conditions. So in the end, I just hope this positive trend in bitcoin price continues even if this year doesn't hit ATH. Oh really, if only $1m were reached by tomorrow then I would be so sorry to miss the ship. Presumably this will happen during a bull run and then it'll fall back below $1 million for a couple years, but what year do you think will be the first time we see $1 million bitcoin?

Personally I think it'll be during the 2036/2037 bull run, assuming the four year market cycles are still going on at that point. Though the 4 year cycle may have largely faded away by then, but somewhere around those years feels about right.

I think it's too close for bitcoin to touch the price of one million dollars in the next four rounds of cycles, in other words it's quite a difficult thing to achieve if you look at every cycle we experience an increase in the price of bitcoin getting smaller in price intervals or from the previous ATH to the new ATH the thinner the increase, I think more precisely we need roughly ten 4 year cycles in bitcoin to touch a million dollar bitcoin price.
But until the price of one million bitcoins will be faster, if the dollar is dropping in price from year to year, then we don't need wild adoption because the comparison is that the dollar is falling or weakening more than what we currently imagine and in terms of exchange if the dollar weakens more than then bitcoin can easily touched the price of a million dollars.

I chose the faster time frame because the FOMO of bitcoin on bullish trend this time tends to be more than before. The collapse of the major banks would greatly support my assumption as there will be many large investors involved in investing in bitcoin as a store of value. If that's true, then $1 million is not out of the question on this fast time frame or 2029 or sooner.

Well, I just looked around for $30,000 and found a collector's book for a famous car brand for that price. Following your logic, in 10 years it will be worth one million, right? Because it just takes time to grow in value, right? Or, perhaps, the growth or fall of rates is determined not only by time? To predict whether and when a bitcoin will be quoted at the level of 1 million, one must not only operate on one’s desires, but also analyze the impact of such a bitcoin on the economy and their interactions. And, if you calculate everything, it turns out that for such a bitcoin rate, the entire economy would have to be completely rebuilt in those 10 years and largely under the influence of bitcoin. Bitcoin has not gotten to $100000 and we are talking about when its price will get to $1 million which will require more pumping of money to buy bitcoin. It is better we discuss more on when bitcoin will reach $100000 first, then after that, we can discuss when it will reach $1 million when $100000 has been reached.

True still good and bad year to go, In my opinion, bitcoin could reach 1 million but in the next couple of decade for now and the overall crypto space should made a breakthrough that real word must depend on crypto.

Well, it shouldn't take a lifetime for that to come up considering only a decade ago, people used to call Bitcoin a useless technology and they called it a bubble when it started growing up and then dropped down a bit as well, but what it managed to achieve in their faces, it has hit $69k in not more than a decade from that point.

So I would probably say that it's achievable, but as you said, it will definitely need a very high level of global adoption and recognition and of course, a hell of a lot of buying pressure from the masses. It has a limited supply, so the demand will surely increase with the adoption increasing.

Let's assume that the last bottom repeats again before the Halving, which means that theoretically the price can reach 200k at the high (15k*15x), considering that the growth will be less than in the past times. Probably 1M will happen later than 2029. If it ever happens at all.

when the price hits $100,000, that fear might betray them this time when it's going to rise more than what is expected. the crypto market is unpredictable and while there is a global crisis that will last for years, the price of BTC could be more than $120,000 after halving. while the value of their savings decreases tremendously, they will jump into BTC pushing the price to more than $120K.

i doubt it will reach $1M as said by Balaji though. 2037-2042 probably, it's going to be expensive and investors will look for other altcoins as they see the majority are also going up along with BTC.

Predictions for 2x of ATH may look more realistic than speculation to reach the price of 1 million in a few years, predictions can be calculated based on the increase from each halving period even from the last halving period which has reached more than 2x for the previous ATH.

We don't know how fundamentally the price will increase after the halving, will this cycle always be what we expect? Maybe the previous history was too sweet what we saw but the journey ahead is still difficult to predict but I also don't deny that the increase in bitcoin prices could be higher when the bullrun really comes but I'm still not sure if 7-8 years bitcoin will be $ 1M it's still too much for us to see.

Maybe we can see how the bitcoin price will be in 2030, but this is still a long way to go and it's not certain that we can survive by crossing the price limit of $ 100K - 200K, maybe at that time we will have released the bitcoin that we have, but if you can survive then you will see fantastic value in your portfolio.

I think it is better to prop up that there is a lot of suffering or volatility below that 7-digit figure. This figure is based, let's be honest, on the historical background and on its percentage growth after all these years.

The "%"" is the only way to give strength to that millionaire price in the short term, because if other economic edges are analyzed, one can become pessimistic and fall into deciding for "never" as shown by the small survey,  that It is still "a game" but in a niche like this where the average person is supposed to know how bitcoin works, it can be looked askance at. But giving it a little "sentimental" community value.

The first place, it is as expected, many want and are enthusiastic about the prediction short term  and place it right there around the corner.

In any case, I think that 2030 is a good date(as well) to start seeing significant changes in the price of bitcoin and this basically because these years to come are quite complicated, (maybe!)new bellicose confrontations, so a panorama complex. And that would add to the uncertainty of the global economic situation.

So, these 7 years should be transformative and accentuate the bases to think about high 6-figure prices, and from there start thinking about the difficult one million.t. And maybe Bitcoin gain not only followers but (+) value hence its price to the moon.

I have read some predictions about bitcoin that this coming bull run could be 300k$-500k$ each, so if this is my basis maybe by 2028 it is possible that it will reach 1M$ each.

      But anyway, I will only save as much as I can if I do this because bitcoin as an investment is really good in the long term. But of course this is just my opinion that I think it can happen.
