I can only say that it is just your opinion, and everyone has different thoughts, and it is impossible to know who will be right. I also don't hate doge, and if comparing the upside potential, I still prefer Doge over old altcoin projects. Aside from ETH and BNB, all the old altcoins have no guarantee that they will still turn you a profit in the next bull season. As you can also see, many potential new altcoins and the fact that they will replace old altcoins have happened a lot in the past. And that will likely happen again in the future, so investing in old altcoins is as risky as the meme. the basic principle for investing is what makes someone confident about their investment then do it. edge because you ask for views from us then I try to give a little insight regarding your investment in dogecoin.
I think for now investing in doge is a natural thing to do for everyone considering that dogecoin is still moving in the market, but to expect more like the previous price I think don't expect that, because this will make things worse and will make your assets lose value if just expecting from dogecoin to go up to 10 x fold, this won't happen again in my opinion.

I use to have a friend who was and addicted to Dogecoin fans and I use to warn him about it, I don't know why but I don't have an interest or confidence in Dogecoin since I know that it can easily be controlled by the whales that have a bag filled with tons of the coin, and if they decide to dump their bag, everyone investment may be at risk, and I won't rely on the such coin as an investment talk more of a long term investment plan with dogecoin.

I thought dogecoin and shi ba inu are in the same category unless for the limited user case that shiba inu always proclaim against dogecoin who have large army of followers, this is not to much of a difference any ways most especially were the price are relatively close and the class are both meme coins.

So as a meme coin both shiba inu and dogecoin are both good for short term speculation and should be taken as gamble because both coins can easily be pump and dump at.any moment by those whales that control their market e.g Elon musk the perceived amd self acclaimed dogecoin father.

Sure, but this type of coin can only go high if the influencers say or do something for those coins. If Elon Musk didn't speak a single word regarding Doge or meme coins in general and then this thread wouldn't had been exist in the first place. Unless you are into this kind of manipulative setting then the risk might be too hard for the majority of people, you can do it if the situation calls in but it might take years or even never.
