Building a community is never easy and needs a lot of strategy and tools. Recently we find Crew3 interesting to attract potential users to become active community members. We have not started to use this tool immensely but it seems useful for new users to complete tasks to get rewards and become active community members and thus contributors. How many of you have used Crew3 before and is this useful for both project owners and most users ? Please let me know. By the way, I am with FireDAO team, in charge of the global community. Please feel free to contact me should you have any inquiry.

Crew3 is a tool for managing tasks and rewards within the community, and can be useful for attracting and motivating new users to a project. However, like any tool, it should be used according to the specific needs and goals of your project. In general, using Crew3 can be beneficial for project owners, as it allows them to create tasks and rewards for community members, which can encourage their activity and participation. Users can benefit from this as they can be rewarded for completing tasks and become more active members of the community.

I think Crew3 can be an effective tool to incentivize potential users to become active members of the community by completing tasks and receiving rewards. However, the success of any tool ultimately depends on how well it is implemented and integrated into the overall community development strategy. It is also important to continue gathering feedback from community members to ensure that the tool meets their needs and expectations.

Whether Crew3 is useful for project owners and most users, it may vary depending on the particular project and community. It will be useful to explore how Crew3 can be customized to meet the unique needs of your community and project.

I have used Crew3 and I am still on the platform, I'll say that it is more useful to the project than users. Most users might get nothing in return for their activities on the platform however the project get rewarded with free working community. I think Crew3 needs to do more to protect the interest of their users, I find Galxe more useful to users though.

Crew3, galxe, bluemove or even guild are the new trend to increase users interaction and gain active users. It seems the era of having bitcointalk social bounty is surpass by this kind by easily participating on the platform. Before I am joining a lots of social campaign, and now this is the trend and more appreciated since nft  are included on the process for completing task. Its like an automated bounty manager have secured it for cross checking via blockchain and smart contract.

Crew3 recently changed their name to zealy and have also updated their website. What I like most about it is that it is still free. Community engagement and increasing the community base can be done in just a few steps. All you need to do is to decide how to start and the rest is taken care by them. It is a good tool and if you are planning to use it then you can go ahead and give it a try.

New platforms that support community building are appearing more and more in the crypto space, I see Crew3 as a good support platform and there are already many quality projects there. But I also observed it also creates a spam environment, although not using it I think they also need to look into providing more efficient tasks. We've seen how bounty programs generate social campaigns and how much participants spam them.

This service and its stupid tasks infuriates me. This service is needed only for stuffing user statistics, and I agree that all projects do this. But the problem is that a lot of cheaters come to these services with a bunch of different accounts to get a role and have a chance for a future airdrop. I do not need this service to study the project.

There are a lot of decent web3 platforms for promotion of your projects, there are dozens of them, it makes no sense to list them all. I don't know exactly what crew3's criteria are for deploying their quests on their site, but they often publish all sorts of large and well-known projects, such as for example SUI. If the project has no budget, no big investors, it is unlikely they can attract the community on such sites.

Tools like Crew3 can be helpful in incentivizing users to become active members and contributors. However, it's important to also have a clear community strategy in place and to ensure that the rewards offered align with the goals and values of the project. Overall, I think using these types of tools can be a valuable addition to a broader community building strategy.

I was using CREW before then I discovered that not everyone that participated in their campaigns got rewarded and since people farm referer and participation I stop using it, The problem with platforms like CREW is that it will bring users and attention but most of the time will not retain them and this is what you need, the number of users that come back to use your protocol or platform, those you are able to retain, these are your real community, not just people that show up because of incentives. Just weigh your options and decide if it is good for you

If the project has no budget, no big investors, it is unlikely they can attract the community on such sites.
While SUI appears to have big investors based on the number of projects that is already deployed on the platform but there are other projects on Crew3, now called Zealy, that has big investors but small community.

Zealy got paid for listing projects on their platform, it is now left for the project to introduce tasks and reward that will attract participants. Why SuiSwap for instance have a very large community is because of the promise to airdrop Sui to all the participants based on their XP points that will eventually be converted to Sui points. Other projects can decide to reward only the top 20, top 50, top 100, or top 1000. I won't want to join such campaign if I have no chance of getting a reward.

Fraudsters are everywhere, I don't think it's just the crew in this forum, we meet a lot, using several accounts to make bounties, fraud is commonplace
here the role of the organizing committee must be firm against violations committed by the community if proven so that fraud is not too partial to the master fraudster

Joining Crew3 is easy, but some of the projects I've participated in haven't gotten results, whether they pay or not later, right now I'm only taking part in a few projects that have potential, like Sui, the rest don't, I'm afraid to just waste time working without results, because I see some who have restrictions on getting rewards from the program and I realize I'm not part of the large following crowd

Zealy was just useless for me to be honest. This platform was forcing user to get their twitter acccount got banned. So many people wasted their time for nothing other than got useless roles. I wanna laugh for people who wanna spend all of their time to keep retweeting or even doing various task in zealy related to the arbitrum in thepast but the only main net user got airdrop. it's not even worthy.

considering how many participants in a crew3 usually are, I guess it add quites the contribution to the marketing of a project but honestly, it's useless for many airdrop hunters.
usually most of the time, these crew3 exists just for fun meaning you can finish the task but get next to nothing in term of rewards.

I have seen some negative comments and not surprisingly, there are still many shortcomings about Crew3 or any similar platforms. I am thinking about a bigger picture and every project owner should know what they really want before choosing any promotion tool. The common problem with all platforms is that how many users can actually be turned into active community member.  We have tried many ways and are still looking for better ways to do the job. Please let me know if you have any good advice. You are more than welcome.

But the problem is that a lot of cheaters come to these services with a bunch of different accounts to get a role and have a chance for a future airdrop. I do not need this service to study the project.
I think a platform like Crew3 is completely useless for participating in a bounty, there are a lot of shortcomings, as for me, and other people can confirm this, it’s pointless to waste time on it because there will be no sense in it, except perhaps a blocked twitter account or some other social network , personally, I don’t waste time on such platforms in vain and I don’t advise others

A tool for building a community would only be effective if the said tool was actually used in whatever community you want to build your own in. I'd highly suggest scouring over it (or any other tool similar) and see how much of an audience base there actually is before deciding whether to use it as a foundation for your community or not. It's like how telegram wasn't exactly popular back then but exploded into popularity with crypto projects popping up here and there, and now communities can easily build their own telegram group, and people who want to join can easily find it and have ease of use with it.

Personally idk what crew3 is, but from what I've seen about it's features it looks pretty good in terms of actively building up community engagement.
