For now, since it isn't a really big amount, I would suggest you download the Electrum wallet either on your phone or PC, or laptop. Create a wallet, generate a receiving address, and send your Bitcoins there. Make sure you keep your private key and seed phrase somewhere very safe.

I also had a good initial feeling when I made my bitcoin investment but I used a centralized exchanger then, I see you didn't do that and chose a none-custodial wallet for investment which is a very good move. Still I would suggest you to purchase a hardware wallet, it will provide more protection for your funds, being an offline wallet you don't face phishing and hacking easily.
I would also suggest to you increase your investment through good DCA (Dollar-cost averaging) management. And of course, the investment should be for long-term investment.

If you intend holding this bitcoin for a long period of time, then my advice to you is to choose another wallet, trust wallet is a non-custodial wallet quite alright, but it's not an open source project..

Best wallet apps to hold crypto currencies are wallets apps that are non-custodial and also open source..
And to offer a suggestion, I will advice you go for wallet like Mycelium wallet,  exodus and a host of others, I currently use mycelium and its a great crypto wallet, the app is available on both Android and ios app stores.
