Since this discussion is focused on bitcoin i will advise you move the thread to bitcoin discussion, we have many reasons to make us lay hold to bitcoin and as long as the first decision had been made with the choice of going for bitcoin among many cryptocurrencies, because bitcoin is the first and well recognized digital currency, if you learn and hodl, you will not regret your decision, you will also have to learn about some security measures in dealing with preferred wallet type against hackers or centralized institutions such as exchanges.

Bitcoin network is unstoppable yes, but Bitcoin application and acceptance isn't.  It only needs a notice of regulation from the authority to make Bitcoin transaction illegal and all the centralized exchanges and company that is involved in Bitcoin will stop its acceptance or operation.  It maybe used in an underground trades or dark market but the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin will definitely stop once the authority prohibit the transaction of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin mainstream adoption is not untouchable, it is still affected by the government regulation, the only reason why Bitcoin adoption grow is because the government is being lenient to Bitcoin users.

I believe that anyone who is hardworking and working smart will be able to get financial freedom regardless of the presence of Bitcoin.  I don't think that Bitcoin is the only thing to achieve your goal  I believe the main factor of your success is your own perseverance,  Bitcoin is just a neutral tool.  You become successful in trading not because of Bitcoin but because of your skills in trading.  If you happen to find a job that pay in Bitcoin, it is not Bitcoin that gives you the opportunity but the employer that accepted you and it is not Bitcoin that made you get qualified for the jobs but because of your own set of skill.  Your financial freedom will not be given by Bitcoin but rather you can claim it through your own effort and endeavors.

I have my ultimate goal already, a coin that has a limited supply and that its value is increasing as people are buying it, which is the reason bitcoin price is increasing as people are demanding for it. My plan is not about making bitcoin available as a way to spend in the public, I wish fiat to remain in that position. I can be able to just convert my bitcoin to fiat and spend if I want to, while I also have the privilege to save bitcoin. I see it hard for me at times to spend my bitcoin because I know it's value will still increase, but I can be able to easily spend fiat or convert it to bitcoin.

Can the price of bitcoin be stagnant? No. Although I do not advice anyone to believe that bitcoin can give financial freedom, but it can give the freedom that the centralized system can not give, it gives the freedom that fiat can not give, which is the freedom for you to be able to fully control your own money by yourself and not by any central body.

You mean total adoption? We are going there soon but you could do that already by using bitcoin wallet to use on some merchant or establishment. If you are wishing it for everyone, it may take a while cause not all share the same admiration over bitcoin across the globe.

It has also promoted privacy and decentralization which has made people break loose from the manipulative power of Central banks and the government. The volatility of bitcoin is an advantage and also a disadvantage so it is advisable to take and embrace it.

I also share your idea of not wishing to be stupendously rich. The reason for the suffering and poverty in the world is greed. People want to acquire much wealth to spend on pleasure which are just temporal that is why they want to invest in products that promise huge profit in the short term and they end up being scammed. I would say that just believe those things that you think it was believable and worthy.
I invest in Bitcoin because I have faith and trust that this will give me benefits and rewards someday and fortunately, it gives me more than what I think. People see the potentiality of Bitcoin and that is why they invest despite the risk. But don't get too dependent on this stuff, we can somehow become financially stable without Bitcoin as well.

And talking about adoption OP, it can take time (years) before we reach that level. Accepting Bitcoin is still on way far from getting the #1 payment option as only a few stores are accepting this across the globe.

For me the one yes I have with bitcoin is its ability to act as a hedge against inflation and the ever recurrent economic crisis because it is free from the manipulations from the government and other political actors. So as some who seeks and truly desire to have and preserve my wealth for years to come, bitcoin is a viable investment option. Following the OP's argument, another upside for me that has strengthen my belief in bitcoin is that we are now seeing an increasing number of adoption as a legitimate asset class. Bitcoin is not a silver bullet for achieving financial freedom. If you government banned Bitcoin, you won't be able to use it to buy a house, which requires government registration, spend it legally, etc. And rich people are not relying on Bitcoin to protect their wealth, they have offshore accounts for that.

Bitcoin's anti-inflation is impossible to measure. The last 3 years saw big rise in inflation, and Bitcoin had a lot of up and down movements in this period, instead of only going up and up.

A good investment is the one that has high returns and low risks. Bitcoin has high risks and very high returns, so it's not an objectively good investment. You can't recommend Bitcoin to everyone.

I will be the same as you. Right now, I will try to take control of my wealth by investing in Bitcoin. many influences say if you invest at least 0.1 BTC you will be one of the richest people in the future, so I try to realize it even if it is hard by collecting it from my salary from my signature. And, I don't know how you and other members managed it, 1/2 or 3/4 or full? I spend 1/2 to operate and the rest half I collect until 0.1.

If we are realistic and assume a maximum of x4 in the next cycles, to achieve that you are going to have to start from a very large investment from the beginning or have to wait many decades. You are not going to get it by investing $10 a week and waiting 4 years.

There's a reason we're also very optimistic about bitcoin and its security right now even it's always been linked against traditional money but I'm not sure it will outperform but then again I believe bitcoin for some obvious reason is decentralized and financially free, a little bit not believe in the bank because this is always a concern that the bank can go bankrupt.
More secure devices are hardware wallets, exchanges don't fully trust or put any money there.

If one country bans bitcoin, others will gladly recognize it officially, like El Salvador. I don't think that all the countries of the world conspire to criminalize btc. Anyway, there will be countries, and more than one, that want to develop using bitcoin. BTC gives opportunities not only to individuals, but to entire countries as well.

We can't know if rich people rely on offshore or btc. If they are quietly buying bitcoin, will the rich tell us about it? Of course not. These things they do without too much noise.

We all have an ultimate goal in this world; you just stated that yours can be achieved through bitcoin and that you are hoping for it to be so. As much as we want bitcoin to be widely adopted, we also want our bitcoin savings to grow, which is why we diversify into bitcoin investments.

Since you just want financial independence, I would say you have it now because you are already into bitcoin, and when it is accepted everywhere in the world, you can just use it for your daily transactions without worrying about how its value will increase.
