Clore Backend v5.2.7.
Starting tomorrow, October 31st at 14:00 UTC, backend version 5.2.7 will bring new options for clock lock management directly in the http://Clore.ai platform. After this update, you’ll be able to configure core lock and memory lock in your server settings on the platform. For rigs added using $Clore Fleet with the “Copy Settings” option selected during setup, clock lock settings will automatically sync from your Hive flightsheet settings. If “Copy Settings” wasn’t selected when adding rigs in Clore Fleet, the clock lock will default to the system setting.
If you’re using nvtool to set clock locks within the Hive flightsheet and have enabled “Copy Settings” during Clore Fleet setup, these settings will be copied. If not, the system will apply the default clock lock.
Additionally, a “Show Default Clocks” filter is now available on the marketplace, displaying memory, core, clock lock, and PL settings before rentals for easier selection.https://x.com/clore_ai/status/1851631134859203005

Clore Introduces MPF 3.0 and Strengthens Platform SecurityClore has introduced the updated Maximum Fair Price (MPF) version 3.0 and has implemented significant security improvements to enhance protection against misuse and ensure higher server quality on the platform. MPF 3.0: New Server Evaluation Algorithm The MPF system at Clore is designed to ensure fair reward distribution and maintain balance in the rental marketplace. Now, MPF 3.0 provides a more accurate server quality evaluation based on a broad range of characteristics carefully selected to ensure high performance and stability.
1. MPF Assignment Speed
A server connected to Clore.ai can receive an MPF rating within the first 10 minutes of registration.
2. Evaluation Parameters
The new MPF algorithm evaluates parameters such as:
Graphics card model and PCI-e standard, PCI-e transfer speed, • Total RAM, Storage volume, Number of processor cores per GPU, Internet connection speed. This set of criteria allows each server to be accurately rated based on its technical specifications and build quality.
3. Automatic MPF Adjustment with Configuration Changes
If a server is rented and undergoes minor configuration changes (for example, one of the cards stops), MPF is automatically adjusted accordingly. Once the server is restored, the MPF updates based on its current parameters.
4. Strict Control over Significant Configuration Changes
For major configuration changes, such as hardware replacement on a rented server, the MPF is reduced to a minimum value of 0.001. This also applies to cases of technical malfunctions.
5. Penalties for Self-Leasing
To prevent misuse of the platform, strict measures have been implemented: accounts engaged in self-leasing of their servers will be banned along with all associated servers. Just today, Clore’s security system identified and blocked 246 servers, whose owners were engaged in self-leasing, while 546 servers had their MPF lowered.https://blog.clore.ai/clore-introduces-mpf-3-0-and-strengthens-platform-security-eb993587000d

We are excited to announce some important updates to the Clore.ai ecosystem to improve sustainability, value, and fairness for our community. 25% Supply BurnAfter careful consideration, we have decided to burn 300 million Clore coins, reducing the maximum supply from 1.3 billion to 1 billion. This is to increase scarcity and increase value for all holders. The burn will occur immediately after the upcoming hard fork associated with the transition to the Proof of Stake (POS) algorithm. The exact date of this event will be announced in advance to ensure transparency and community readiness.
Reward Cap Per Server
In addition, we are introducing a cap on the Clore rewards for each server. Specifically, the reward will not be able to exceed twice the server rental amount. For example, if your server is rented for $10, you will receive $10 from the renter + up to a maximum of $10 from the Clore service. In total, the maximum reward amount is $20, which will be credited to your wallet. This limitation will primarily affect users with very powerful servers or significant funds in Proof of Holding (PoH). In this way, we aim to increase profitability and fairness of reward distribution for the majority of platform users.
In addition, to maintain economic balance and a healthy ecosystem, all newly created coins that have not been distributed among users will be burned. https://t.me/journalmainera/4799

Thats great that you are burning but why POS?
I found the source Burning 25% of Total Supply + Server Reward Limit https://blog.clore.ai/burning-25-of-total-supply-server-reward-limit-ccc2274d85eaMining this coin is now practically unprofitable, which means the project has several development paths, one of which will be a change in the algorithm. It will be very important how this platform will develop further. If it goes the way of NiceHash, it will be a complete fiasco.

Of course, every miner has such equipment at home I've already started setting up Hive OS

What’s happening We are migrating CLORE from the legacy PoW chain to a new CLORE token on Ethereum mainnet (ERC-20). The migration is 1:1: every CLORE you hold on the PoW network at the time of the snapshot can be redeemed for exactly 1 CLORE (ERC-20). Why we stopped PoS and chose an ERC-20 migration The biggest structural issue with PoW for CLORE is constant sell pressure from miners. Mining rewards are regularly sold to cover electricity and operating costs, which creates a built-in, ongoing headwind that is difficult to outgrow. We spent over 1.5 years working toward PoS. We tested, iterated, and invested significant effort because we believed PoS could be the “next stage” of the Clore chain. This decision was not easy — we truly tried. But as the work progressed, it became clear that finishing PoS properly would require at least another full year of focused, full-team development, which would significantly distract us from other critical work across the project. And even if we committed that time, PoS would still not solve our core objective. PoS does not remove sell pressure — it shifts it. Our main motivation for leaving PoW is reducing structural sell pressure. With PoS, sell pressure still exists: it comes from stakers harvesting yield rather than miners selling emissions. After deep internal evaluation, we decided to pause the PoS transition and proceed with an ERC-20 migration for these reasons: Maintaining a custom wallet stack adds significant complexity. Exchange integrations are slower and more difficult. Infrastructure overhead is higher. Composability with the broader crypto ecosystem is lower.
