If you truly follow bitcoin, believe that it’s gonna be next big thing in the future then yes you should put lot of efforts into bitcoin investment. Bitcoin is one of those assets in my list which I consider as gold (physical), stocks and mutual funds (savings) and bitcoin (digital asset). In other relative investments they can afford to wait but with Bitcoin I often wondered where their rush came from until I realized that it won't be far from that misconception of Bitcoin being a shortcut to wealth. I do not understand what do you mean by an effort to invest in bitcoin ?
If you have extra money, you may invest in bitcoin for long term and if you do not have capital then, you should first raise capital and then invest in bitcoin. Buying Bitcoin from kitchen money or taking a loan is not the right way to invest in Bitcoin.

Don't consider bitcoin investment as a do or die thing, otherwise, you will fall into FOMO and may invest all in at one point. Doing DCA is a very good method if you want to get into bitcoin at different prices.

Any long-term investment should be comfortable, only in this case you can be consistent throughout the investment period. If it is, as you said, at any cost, then this implies that we will most likely need to make some sacrifices from time to time, which in the end will make us doubt the correctness of our actions. You also don't need to invest all your savings, because various situations may occur that require us to unplanned expenses and in this case it will be necessary to sell part of the investment, which is also not very good.

It's a very nice question and the answer to your question depends on how much you have and whether investing a certain amount would affect you financially. If you have an extra 1000 dollars or more divide it by 10 and invest it in Bitcoin at various price ranges.

For instance if you have 1000 dollars to invest divide it by 10 which will provide you with the chance to invest in 10 different ranges. The first range should be at 29,000 dollars and the second range should be at 27,000 dollars and continue investing in this pattern. If your order get successfully filled  at those ranges then hold onto them for at least 4-5 years.

unfortunately, a lot here are still hoping that one day, btc will be their saviour of acquiring riches in the future. this is why they are agitated to get a hold of btc in their vaults for such goal. if you have your targets and you do believe on this market, you should not be too worried about your portfolio. and always do take note that only use your extra funds so you won't be in tight spot if you happen to need the money.

Wait for how long? Most persons have a target and price that they expect bitcoins to get to before they sell. When the price gets to that point either quickly or takes a little time, they sell without considering if the prices will go hire. They are okay with that profit. Not everyone is waiting for bitcoins to get to a new all time high before they sell.

But they all should be waiting because they're losing whenever they sell, for people that sold when Bitcoin reached $20k for the first time in the 2017 bull market, they all lost when Bitcoin reach a new all time high in 2021, they should have just hodl instead of selling.
