Depending on how much money you are willing to invest, you will not go bankrupt if you lose it all. This is really my principle, I don't invest or spend money that I am not comfortable with, like I'll go broke, and I don't invest in bitcoin all at once, like if I have this huge money I buy it with bitcoin, I would get a percentage of my salary and buy bitcoin until I could say it is enough because at first it is just a small value and I wouldn't be stressed at all because I don't spend my entire salary all at once.

I would put in a moderate effort, and, in fact, I do. Investing in Bitcoin is one part of an overall wealth building plan, but in that part there is always room for spending. You have to maintain a balance between thinking about the future and living in the present.

In your specific case, if you want us to help you, it would be better to give more information, such as age, family situation, work situation, etc.

It is not the same if you are 50 years old and have dependents than if you are 25 years old and have just started a very well paid job.

We have to realize that bitcoin is not something that really makes us rich instantly and of course being here the risk is clearly big enough so you can't just be sure if you don't understand how bitcoin works.
But when we are sure about bitcoin I think no matter how much investment you make here you will never experience stress or negative thoughts like you said in your thread, because you are sure of that choice.
Panic, stress and other unfavorable things show that you are not too sure about your choice and when something like that happens I think you should reassess what you are here for.

unfortunately, a lot here are still hoping that one day, btc will be their saviour of acquiring riches in the future. this is why they are agitated to get a hold of btc in their vaults for such goal. if you have your targets and you do believe on this market, you should not be too worried about your portfolio. and always do take note that only use your extra funds so you won't be in tight spot if you happen to need the money.

There's nothing wrong with dreaming of becoming rich by investing in bitcoin, you and I and everyone here are investing in bitcoin because of that dream too. But the mistake of many people is not to learn more about bitcoin, they just want to get rich quickly with it, forgetting the risks that have to be traded off if want to be rich.

There is no success without trade-offs and so is bitcoin investing. It can make you rich, but if you do not have a plan, and invest at the wrong time, you will also pay a very high price.

You don't have to invest at all cost. You just have to be patient. Even when you see people panicking just trust Bitcoin, this may be hard but it gets better with practice. I feel one of the reasons why you should sell (if you have been HODLing for a while) is if it's an emergency or something you really need money for.

I don't think the effort can be quantified but it requires a lot of effort.

In accordance with your goals, you can invest in Bitcoin according to your abilities. Don't push too hard if you doubt that the money you invest will be lost, because actually investing in Bitcoin has risks and if you can't take that risk you shouldn't invest, it's that simple. If you can invest 100 USD in a month and have no problems with it, you can invest that amount, or less. The point is to adjust to your abilities, that's all.

I think it's like asking how much cake to eat - there's no right answer, and it depends on your appetite for risk. I think understanding the market is necessary and only investing what you can afford to lose. So if you are a risk taker with deep pockets, go ahead and invest large sums. But if you are more careful and prefer to play it safe, it is better to invest smaller amounts.

None. A bitcoin investor should just DCA weekly or monthly and leave the rest to the markets. Every crypto investor that did that since the early 2010's made huge money. You will too. It takes zero effort to accomplish this trading strategy. Buy & hold. Do nothing else.

Some of those people who made daily trades made money and some other people did not, however, everybody hodl their bitcoin made money. It is a no brainer strategy to get rich and the best part is, you don't have to do anything other than hodling.

This is the point because even though it's not too wrong to hope for something beautiful about bitcoin but that is the end result and things like that need a long enough struggle which is called a process and this is where we are right now which is sometimes even more tiring and creates an unhealthy mental state. too able to control a little hit there.
Even though as said before, as long as you are sure of the conditions of what you are investing in and are sure of bitcoin as something worth defending, I don't think you need to worry about the flow you have because at the moment you can say that when you look at their journey they are still very good.

In all the cases it's better to invest without stress, as for amounts invested with stress, it turns every such investment into a gambling. So if you like gambling, you can afford investing a bit more than just excess money you  otherwise would collect. The certain no go is to borrow and invest the borrowed money, since cryptocurrency is predominantly long term investment, and paying the debts is not a good option...

Several online articles[1][2][3] state that most experts advise that we should invest 10% - 25% of our pretax earnings.  It is indeed a small amount assuming we have enough income to meet our daily needs and wants.  We must do our best to meet this requirement for investment so that we can have a better yield in the coming years if this investment become successful and is not greatly affected if it didn't.  So I think it is fair enough to allocate this percentage in investing in Bitcoin especially we are about to witness another bull trend in the coming months.

The best strategy to make huge profits from Bitcoin investment is  to be patient and able to hold for a long period of time, but still everybody have it own target in term of Bitcoin investment, once someone reach it profit target I think that is okay to take the profit. sometime we don't need to wait for long term to take profits because there is not guarantee over our Bitcoin investment that we  will make more profit in future but  we do assume it will happen because the repetition of Bitcoin history.

I've written articles here at length about this, and said like a broken record at this point, but only invest what you can afford to lose.  Always invest your money in a foundational way first (Have long term and mid term savings in traditional investments such as pension plans, 401Ks, IRA's, Brokerage Accounts etc).  Any good portfolio that has the ability for some "home run" type swings, ie more risky investments..should invest a portion in higher risk things, such as bitcoin.  Jut make sure you're doing it proportionately.

If you aren't new to the crypto market, then you already know the golden rule for investing in crypto currencies. Only invest what you can afford to lose. So, put in an amount that won't stress you out too much if things don't go as planned. Money that you don't need and won't affect your life if you lose it all. Easy, only what you can afford to lose. We'll always get back to that short phrase about investing tip in bitcoin. One must invest in bitcoin with the amount that he's not going to be stressful and okay to be seeing it at a dramatic loss. Because of the market isn't stable and it's always have been volatile, if you ever invest on it then you have to make sure that you're not just here for the quick profits and you're willing to wait as if you're waiting for something big and that might take a long time. Good point of view. In addition to that, short term investment is unfortunately unsafe during this period due to the market is basically volatile and Bitcoin’s price goes up and down but with low rate, same goes to the rest of cryptocurrencies  and it is been now more than two weeks since BTC is stuck between $28k and $30K. Plus, it is really hard to predict the next bullish market neither bearish. In fact, everything is expected to happen but we should get prepared for all scenarios and conditions. However, it is always safer to invest in long term to avoid the stress and mistakes or wrong decisions. It is certain that Bitcoin will reach ATH ( All time high) in the near future possibility after the halving in next year.
