I don't think it's a suitable gambling game. You can actually create an AI to do this game for you and it will do the job without any problems at all. Most gambling platforms would surely lose some profit if they put out this game on their list. Plus, what would be the mechanics of how you would win money? Would it be progressive rewards as long as you're in the game? For sure, people will just code AI to beat the game and this will be shut down almost easily.

Casino games are games that you can play very fast and you will know if you win or lose, but game 2048 is just not like that, it can take much time to build up big numbers and I do not see how it is in anyway should be used in casinos, it is just a game to play at home or with friends. Very easy to play, not even a difficult puzzle, but simple.

This topic reminds me of an old faucet game namely bitcoin2048, it was a nice faucet game where users can play 2048 game to earn some satoshi.
Unfortunately the site was not last longer, maybe because it was too easy to earn some money with the game.
How if it is being implemented to gambling game? I dont think casino want to do it because it is a skill based game and maybe people can create a script or a bot to beat the game.

The reason is very simple. You have to ask yourself, could somebody develop an algorithm with which he can cheat? All someone has to do is write a few lines of code and voila! I have been reasoning to know how it works but i couldn't get it correctly, does it function like puzzle or something differently?

Just tried the game (only got to 1024 tiles), but honestly, it's not suitable for betting. This is a game like Solitaire or Mines on PC, and it took too long to finish just one round.
The most suitable game for gambling is a fast-paced 90%+ luck game.

I've never heard of the game nor have ever played it, but after reading the comments, it's evident that it is a skill-based game that a person can win if they understand the game and how it works, so it would probably not be a good idea for a casino to add a game that can be won by almost anyone with skills regarding that game.

It is weird that there are so many who have not heard of this game. It is quite popular for a time a few years back. Well, casinos won't make money out of it. The game isn't too complex and yeah there are some cheats to make your game better. They can implement house edge easy on any games but the main problem with this kind of game is that it doesn't seem to be played by anyone.
