thank you for bringing up the legality of this operation.

We have clearly made profound legal research before setting this up. Our lawyers and myself strongly believe that accepting and playing with Bitcoin does not infringe the UIGEA "The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006" as we do not act as a processor or financial institute.

To sum up our position and based on current US legislation: There is no U.S. federal law against gambling online!

Further for others maybe of interest:

• Some states might have laws against online gambling, but even there prosecution against players is rare.
• It's against federal law for websites to take sports bets over the Internet.
• It's against federal law for banks to handle online gambling transactions
• Taking ads for online gambling isn't specifically illegal, and it would be quite a stretch to make a case under a different statute (like racketeering or conspiracy).

Regarding the legality and as 556j correctly mentioned. An online casino operating within USA (server hosted in USA) would need a state license while when you are hosted and operate from abroad (which we are) this requirement is obviously no more binding. See also in your posted wiki the WTO ruling in favor to Antigua and offshore gambling operators.

UIGEA is clearly binding only for money processors (banks, e-wallets....) from fiat currencies thus again not binding for us as Bitcoin is not money and is not processed by third parties but directly from a players wallet.

It might sounds like grey area to some but to us it's clearly white at least until Bitcoins are define as being a currency by the federal reserve!

I'm ok to being in the newbie section as we obviously are new and new user have clearly also very valuable comments. We are here for the long run and do not need to impose our business to any one. We have time to explain and to improve. Bitcoin is still new to many and it takes time to make a better world.

We already received multiple PMs with possible improvements and are in talk with Bitcoin Exchanges to make it more straightforward for players to acquire and deposit Bitcoins. I believe you'd be in violation of Australian law if you let Australians gamble on your site. (the people doing the gambling aren't the ones violating it, the provider is, even if not within Australia)
They might have no way of enforcing it - but perhaps interesting to note if your company ever intends to open some other business here.

The point is - laws about online gambling are weird, and differently weird in different jurisdictions, and even working out whose jurisdiction applies can be weird.

Regarding the needed resources to play the casino the PC download version should be less resource intensive than the Flash version.

Chrome and IE seems to use less resources than Firefox assuming you are using the latest version of the browsers and the last flash add-on version. We unfortunately won't be able to propose alternative skins for the game client. When testing we have found that directly starting the flash client through: http://gaming.bc-casino.com/ will save additional resources.

About the RNG used.
The random number generator in use was successfully certified by an independent third party. The evaluation was performed with the aim of identifying and detailing system weakness and potential issues of non-compliance with online casino software requirements. It was verified through mathematical and statistical analysis that the software distribute numbers with fair distribution.

Each games was tested independently with Degrees Of Freedoms (DOFs) if it says something to you, I would not understand what it means.

Example:
Video poker, Jack & Better, DOFs = 51
Table game, European Roulette, DOFs = 36
Slots, azteca, DOFs = 1,7,51,127
...

this was done for each games.

I totally agree with you, online gambling law is complex and different for each countries. Most important so is to comply with the law where your server are hosted, this will save you lot of troubles.

Opening a gambling company in Australia is out of our scope. But as Australia is part of the WTO cross border internet services are granted.
