I think there will be many more disappointments waiting for you when you see once Layerzero, zkSync, Starknet and Arbitrum Nova generously distributing airdrop. I believe that it is necessary to perform at least a minimum of interactions with these networks in order not to experience Fomo later.

Yup...  A lot of people in the community seemed to have missed the current meta.  2022 - 2023's airdrops are the 2016 - 2017's ICO's.  If you wanna get in projects early, airdrops are a way to go these days.  It's all about sweat equity.  And it's good as we'll all know that the project already has a working product to goof around and test with.  And the good thing is you get plus points if you report a bug and for helping out.

Anyway, trying to get in Layer Zero's airdrop is a must and why not use Rage Trade while you're at it as it's built on Layer Zero.

You are quite observant about it. Joining the bounty task on Zealy is a solution for people who want the retro airdrop share but don't have enough money. Because the majority of retro airdrops, including ZkSync, depend on funds to conduct transactions, including trades, bridges, and the addition of liquidity.

Keep in mind the airdrop is probably over a year away or so. It’s not coming anytime soon. Especially since Era was just launched.

Basically do the usual. Just bridge and use the network. And don’t create too many wallets, they will find that out and you won’t get any airdrops. So trade, lend and buy NFTs and you should get the air drop.

It's better to be early than late so that we are sure that we are eligible just in case there are airdrops that will be conducted by the team. I'm not only sure if it's worth the wait and effort as some airdrop hunters of the past projects are complaining about the high fees when interacting with the platform and some of them spend more money in the process.

This is the same as playing with gambling because there is no guarantee that we will be qualified and there is no guarantee that the projects will be doing an airdrop. Again like gambling, it will be better to expect less and interact only with the project because you are genuinely interested and curious about them.

but I doubt any bounty tasks on zealy will be meaningful there are many cases that this bounties in zealy just useless, moreover retroactive airdrops are all about interacting with the smart contract in the blockchain so I doubt if zksync follow the path of arbitrum which is retroactive, this zealy campaign will be meaningful, i guess the retroactive airdrops by interacting is more valued these days.

All these posts and articles about airdrops are just used to generate attention, for me ZKSync as a platform is not ready though there are some protocols and DEXes on it currently but it is far from where Arbitrum was when they launched their own tokens. The concern I have is that people still prefer to launch their tokens on Ethereum rather than these L2, so where are the adoption despite the fast and low transaction fees, all these new chains are going to end up being ghost chains with time

One issue that I find with both the ZkSync Lite and Era is that the fees are very high for what is considered a new network. This is not ARB or BNB, the fees shouldn’t be this high.

I read that it’s because the less people that use the network the higher the fees. So perhaps in a few month and more people using the network the fees will be lower. Right now not much you can do really on both networks.

Yes you gotta pretty much waste money to be able to get this airdrop, it won’t be free. It’s expensive to bridge to ZkSync chain and then the fees aren’t cheap either to transact.

I find it that on weekends fees are lower so try it out then. Do maybe one transaction a month at least. The more obviously the better and higher volume is preferred.

There is SyncSwap where you can be a LP and get extra points that way. A lot of work. Hopefully it pays off.

I think quite fair amount of token already deployed in many l2 but it's true that the coin that usually gaining massive attention are all still in ethereum despite the high fee that it has.
I do agree though, that zksync isn't gonna be as famous as arbitrum, this coin arbitrum was quite literally really famous that so many dapps are deploying their smart contract there almost immediately.
but i'm sure that zksync is doing fine, eventually more and more platform will on board and the ecosystem will become much better it's just matter of time, even though there has been quite many complication in their custom EVM where some solidity function just didn't work.

Yeah right, the last time I heard about pancakeswap airdrop is around 500$ in LP but is there any other information out there.Like minimum its definitely more than 100$ I think?? How much you already invested there

I think that 20 interactions in the main ZkSync network will be enough to qualify for the minimum airdrop if the team makes such a decision. If you perform these transactions on weekends, when the gas price is more or less low, then your costs will be approximately equal to $10. But personally, I plan to do more than 100 interactions with the contract to get the maximum airdrop.

This tbh. I have done several zealy campaigns in past yet to get any worthy reward. Retrospective drops tend to reward good because there are less eligible addresses while for zealy campaigns there are thousands of participants and on some even millions, one being suiswap which already confirmed there is gonna be xp to native token $SSWP conversion, looking at this numbers pretty sure reward is gonna be very low.

They can get a thousand or two dollars if they sell the dropped coins but it does not mean that all of it is their profit. They will still need to minus their cost to get those amount. They will be glad if they can get 50 or 100 dollars on these.

the fee used for testing the blockchain is fair enough, what maddening is if the project is like sui, taking advantage of unclearness of their airdrops letting so many people testing their blockchain yet they decided to make IEO suddenly changing their plan instead, sounds like massive waste of effort honestly. but then again the team never promised airdrops in the first place.

I found some NFT platform that supports the ZkSync Era its called Mintsquare. So if you want to test out the network you can go there and mint your own NFT or you can buy some NFTs. Generally its not going to be cheap buying all these NFTs but I think if you mint yours then you might get some extra credits if there is an airdrop.

Then there is the SyncSwap where you can just do some quick trades or be a liquidity provider. Currently there isnt much aside from the Orbiter bridge. The fees are cheaper on ETH so you are better off doing these bridges now rather than during high ETH fee days.

Mintsquare works disgusting, at least I have made several attempts over the past month to create an NFT on the ZkSync network, but they were unsuccessful.  The same thing happens with mint on the Starknet network. Have you managed to create an NFT on this platform?

You can imagine if you spend 4k USD to get more than 300k USD when ARB was trading at high price. That means if it's really worth. That's why the wallet growth of zksync is moving up so fast. It was able getting mo,re than 1 millions unique wallet in a short time compared with another l2 scalling solution like optimism and arbitrum. People are speculating to this one as the next project that will be giving them tokens.
