I'm too young to be familiar with these devices, but the way I understand it is that it only has the minimum electronics to receive and send text from/to the phone line, and no actual processing power. Idk, there might be some hackers here who know more about it.

I know my dad still has a couple of minitels lying around his house, I'd love to go get them and make some cold wallets out of them. Could be really funny!

I'm not sure if it's possible unfortunately, even if some guys managed to run Doom on it (on the other hand Doom is not a reference, I think it must run on a Casio calculator we had at school)
