what numbers are the Satori's? what purpose is served by blocking the numbers?

My fav is the vintage Asprey & Co semi-automatic lighter made of sterling silver. At the press of a button, you can ignite the wick.

These lighters were popular among the affluent in the early 1960s.

The lighter only goes for about $800 - $1000 though. For being handcrafted by a professional silversmith this is low valuation.

Satori chips also have the tendency to actually show completely blacked out number-fields when photographed at the right (wrong?) angle - I recently noticed that when taking some pics.
