People speculate a lot of nonsense about bitcoin and the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Is he a Russian spy? CIA? Japanese? Chinese? English? is Satoshi related to Pablo Escobar? It’s crazy! How can a decentralized network (blockchain) become centralized? Bitcoin source code is open source, everyone can see it, that’s makes it free from manipulation. Bitcoin is controlled by all Bitcoin users around the world. Developers are improving the software but they can't force a change in the rules of the Bitcoin protocol because all users are free to choose what software they use. Thoughts on that Bitcoin was created by a member of China. And that once there is over 60 % adoption in the world. Obviously, the Bitcoin creator is not from China. If we look at the traces and hint about the creator of Bitcoin, it is far from being a Chinese or whatever relation to the Chinese government. Someone will push a button and it will ignite to something much more powerful and controlling>? more centralized?
I do not know what is in your thought, Bitcoin had been proven to be a decentralized cryptocurrency, it is obviously against centralization and even the Chinese government is against Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining because of its decentralized nature.

Should this be classified as speculation once more? Bitcoin's origins are unknown to any country or region. China was among the first to utilize bitcoin following its creation. Even if the owner is Chinese, the protocol, which was built to be open source software, cannot be transformed into a centralized system with complete access to the government. That is simply an untenable assumption to consider. Bitcoin will always be decentralized.

Thoughts on that Bitcoin was created by a member of China. What is this based on? How were you able to come to such a conclusion? We should be able to see some so-called proofs about this from you. And that once there is over 60 % adoption in the world. Someone will push a button and it will ignite to something much more powerful and controlling>? more centralized?
What kind of joke is this? I hope you know how the Bitcoin network Operates

Many people think like that, but there is no proof that it's true. Maybe China will able to make their product control the world, but I think it is hard to be true if they can build the Bitcoin ecosystem from the beginning and make it great like today. They can't control Bitcoin if ecosystem mining can be done anywhere, and they are even leaning to banned Bitcoin which I think is impossible for China to control if they forbade themselves.

When you postulate something, at least provide a basis for it. It is absurd to just entertain a thought out of thin air and let everybody discuss about it. We'd be wasting too much time and energy that way.
If Satoshi Nakamoto were Chinese, the name would have been a lot different. It could have been Shing-cheong Neng. LOL!
Anyway, whoever created Bitcoin, he/she/they cannot anymore just take control of it. The decentralized design of Bitcoin means nobody is above the rules.

Very unlikely, actually it does not make much sense, since the government of China with the CCP at the top of the command chain is mostly an authoritarian organization which has invested much of their political resources on controlling the population within the continent and apply technology to trace their personal activities and movements. Bitcoin was conceived to be mostly all the opposite of it, and if you are implying Satoshi could be still around and could make Bitcoin to be centralized, that is not possible to happen due to the code being open and transparent to anyone who wishes to check it, there are no trust, no back doors. The theory of Satoshi being Steve Jobs or a CIA operative makes more sense than he being a Chinese agent, to be honest.

It's just your opinion and some people, we don't have any proof for that. If you could give us more proof, we'll have much to say. Bitcoin is open source, so even if Satoshi wakes up and can't change what is happening, bitcoin is decentralized and not under the control of anyone, including its creator. Just because China has been getting stronger in recent years and whatever is not so obvious, people will associate it with China. I see you are too sensitive to this country of billions of people.

60% adoption in the world is from China, is it real? Honestly I don't think this figure is correct. In the past, majority of Bitcoin miners concentrated and located their mining farms in China mainland. After China attack against Bitcoin mining, there was a big migration to other nations like the USA., Kazakhstan ... that contributed to make Bitcoin network more decentralized. Nowadays, China mainland does no longer have 60% of Bitcoin total hash rate. I am sure 60% is not a correct figure from China mainland. Mining MapWith a speedy growth of adoption, Bitcoin network will become more decentralized in future and Bitcoin distribution (in addresses) will become more decentralized too. To be very honest, the whole idea of Bitcoin is against the policies of the government. So there is literally no chance it was created by any government agency or organization. Why 60% adoption? why not 50? I don't even know how randomly you picked that number without any facts or assurance of being 60% and then the red button is pressed but it's very silly of yours.
As SquirrelJulietGarden shared the Adoption curve, we are nowhere near the 60% adoption percentage however we are growing faster than ever. I recently made a similar post where someone said people are being negative and hating Bitcoin, I surely think it goes from person to person, and in your case, you think it's controlled by China which is another conspiracy theory episode that you can post on TikTok and get some views and brag about.
Coming back to the topic, no, it's not owned by any organization, it's owned by people of planet Earth and it's very decentralized as per the blockchain data.

Bitcoin cannot be created in China, the creation of bitcoin has nothing to do with the Chinese state. Don't talk too much about things like this, where was bitcoin created, and who is actually satoshi, researching all of this is not really necessary, the most important thing is that with this bitcoin we must be able to use it properly and wisely, so that the world knows, what is the specialty of bitcoin . Do not speculate too much about things like this, because it will not produce any results. Especially associating bitcoin with China, because in my opinion, this is not a matter of which country, on which continent, and by how many people was created, but it would be nice if we should only be grateful, because when we grow up we come to know about this bitcoin. And don't ever try to dismantle the identity of a group or person (Satoshi Nakamoto), who has created a solution (bitcoin) from the mistakes of the financial system in this world.

Don't you see your thoughts contradicting what's going on? China is a country that has completely banned bitcoin, and if they are the creators of bitcoin, why did they ban it? Moreover, even if bitcoin was created by China, they cannot regulate or trigger something to turn the current situation around. Bitcoin is open source and managed by the community, not owned by anyone.

And what made you believe in this imaginory story of your's ? There are lot of assumptions and people have their own belief but we don't really know the indentity of Satoshi so why push yourself in coming up with this? The China has banned Bitcoin mining and there were lot of miners make you believe he was from China and moreover why would a government allow creation of something which is not under their control? Think before making such assumptions without any base.

The origin of Bitcoin is no longer important because after many years, its network has become bigger and decentralized globally. Satoshi Nakamoto did thought about decentralization seriously and deployed Bitcoin blockchain with a very good technical design for practice of decentralization. A longer longevity Bitcoin has, a more decentralization for its network. Even if China is where Bitcoin was created and where it had most of Bitcoin mining farms and hash rates. Today it is no longer true for China mainland as Bitcoin hash rate has been spread globally to more countries. It has become decentralized enough to avoid any shock from policy change in one or two countries. If one country bans Bitcoin mining, miners will migrate to other countries and continue their mining activities with only a few weeks of transition.

Exactly if Bitcoin have a Chinese origin because the similarities are not there and the events happening around Bitcoin adoption have also pointed in a different direction, as truly China has been the most anti-Bitcoin country today after the total ban of Bitcoin and its activities such as mining. So how can China ban a technology that originates from them, I think there would rather embrace and build every possibility possibilities that will enhance their control of Bitcoin if it originates from China, Satoshi's origin is far from being Chinese and even though Satoshi may be an acronyms name or code name but the aspect of Chinese involvement is just a baseless speculation.

Does it matter these days? And what's with 60% adoption thing, I don't know if we can hit that goal I think not in the years to come, right now the estimate is that we are lower at 10% worldwide though I think there might come a surge of adoption but we don't know when, people just flock when crypto is in hype. Well, they can't centralized Bitcoin, likely those huge market cap shitcoins out there.

I can tell you that this would not be the last theory you'll hear about who is Satoshi, but do not expect people to provide proof of their assumptions, they just throw things at the wall and hope it sticks, even Craig Wright tried to use forgeries and lies to deceive everyone that he is Satoshi, while he is nothing but Faketoshi. Some trolls in this forum even claim to be Satoshi, the claims of who is satoshi would never stop. Op you should have chosen a different country to link your assumption of Satoshi to, China is a dictatorial nation that likes to control their people, BTC is the opposite of that, and i don't believe a member of the CCP has a hand in creating a decentralized currency.

You're not understand how's Bitcoin work, even if Bitcoin miners were mostly operated in China, it doesn't make China can control Bitcoin including Satoshi. If Satoshi implemented to change Bitcoin protocol from Proof Of Stake to Proof Of Work, it needs at least 51% Bitcoin's core team need to agree with that's suggestion. But since most people always consider the decentralization is the most important thing in Bitcoin, such kind change is impossible will happen.
