Have some S7's that I would like to put to use.  Can someone recommend good coins/pools for this?

I like to keep old coins alive and get some heat from the miners in the process.

Please try to stay on topic.  Thanks.

That is an extremely old ASIC device but if you want to heat your home that is a great device for that.Since it is an old device the most profitable coins are listed in the minerstat website in the link below but if you search a bit more online you can find some really low value coins like DEC if I remember correctly that you can make a substantial amount of them daily.

For all other coins still relevant to that device here is the link to check it out

120 volt power for the s7.

and you can use an atx psu for the s7 which is quiet.

he should change to an s9 which is better and can use a quiet atx at 120 volts.

he can mine bch  at viabtc.com

he can mine xec at viabtc.com

xec has a crazy upside if it ever rallies

Some popular coins to mine with S7's are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Digibyte. Good pools to consider are Slush Pool, BTC.com, and F2Pool.

I would put that thing on something like a zpool and let it mine any SHA-256 coin and get paid in your coin of choice.

Are you doing this to score a lottery or just to make some small profit?

Because it doesn’t matter what you choose to mine the profitability will be exactly the same pretty much across the different sha256 coins.

If you just want to try your hand at the lottery then mine some of the lower difficulty coins and see if you can hit a block.

Did you mean solo mining?

Please try to stay on topic.  Thanks.

2300 watts of consumption from 2 asics and additional noise is a lot of problems for a small amount of heat.
Even on $1 a day free electricity, the profit looks very small to burn that much electricity. It is better to buy video cards.
