influencers have a motive in every video they make!

they have a goal and that is increased branding on their account!

there are many examples that can be seen where there are many crypto influencers who actually have goals and motives in every video they make, including broadcast time, subscribers and referral links. they are no longer honest with it and everyone who listens should be more critical and careful in believing every sentence they issue.

"Influencer" is a broad term and I wouldn't put all crypto-related content creators with high number of subscribers/followers into one bag. I'm not going to advertise any channel but there are a few out there that are pretty decent in terms of creating good-value content.
Those who exist only to squeeze out the maximum profit out of their followers, usually have short-life as people tend to turn away from them.

I agree with your thoughts that bitcoin education will have a big impact on how people feel about cryptocurrencies and people's tendency to follow crypto influencers. With the emergence of more and more training programs for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, people will have a better understanding of how this market works and what opportunities it can provide.
However, I don't think crypto influencers will cease to exist entirely. Even if people have enough knowledge to make their own decisions, they may still seek the opinion of experts in the field. Ultimately, it is important that people use their common sense and not rely solely on the opinions of others, even if they are crypto influencers.
When we say Bitcoin education, the first thing that came to my mind is; What is Bitcoin and what is its function but maybe the topic about influencers and how they affect the coin is only just a bonus when the basic intermediate and advanced lessons are done.

Although any individual can learn on their own because the internet is now everywhere. Having a teacher or a mentor via the training program is still different. It gives them an advantage and the chance for them to find a wrong information is going to be lessened. The only con is, some of them are not totally free. Not all influencers are giving false information so it's not wrong to follow some of them.

Influencers are also investors and need to earn profits to care for their lives. I agree that it's mainly for the sake of the individual rather than the community, but if we were in their place, we'd be like them. I don't blame those people, but I will say that the fault is largely due to the newbie entrants in the market with bottomless greed, so it is easy to be deceived by others.
You are right, not all influencers are bad, there are still a few still operate by imparting knowledge, but most of these people are not supported by everyone. Because people will prefer to find influencers who share x1000 projects and trading signals than knowledge sharers.

Because people will prefer to find influencers who share x1000 projects and trading signals than knowledge sharers.

Some people might, but they'll walk away after they get burnt once or twice and realise they are the ones who are being dumped on.
Good content creators have a much higher chance of long-term success, if they're consistent in putting in effort and doing proper research before publishing the content.

If we ask in this thread, probably not many of us here would actually be subscribed to x1000-pump-type channels.

This is what happened. Because basically, influencers like this are just like being salesmen and feeders so that what they invest goes very well.
the problem is, many people really don't understand about conditions like that which seem to say Influence is something profitable even though this is just speculation accompanied by their hope that they will profit.

Regardless of anything they will still be profitable but it is clear that something like this will not go well for those who follow but cannot take advantage of the momentum, especially new people or beginners who don't even know anything about this kind of thing.

We are about to see them grow again unfortunately. I mean maybe not the same people, but the idea of a crypto influencer will revive again, maybe with different people, but it will be out there anyway. When? When the bull comes, when you see people making x5 to x10 returns, when there are coins or tokens that does x100, basically when the huge bull hype comes back again and we break over ATH prices in almost every project. That is when these influencers will get high up there again, maybe new ones but there will be some. As long as people look for a quick way out of this, they will end up with this result without a doubt and there is no way around it, it will just happen and we have to just accept it.

I have a lot of thank you to send to some crypto Influencers, they are the reasons why I learned to sniff the difference between a project and another, some things don't matter to me before, like how many holders a project has, how many coins are in circulation and especially the market cap of the projects, lol, all I used to care about is the chart but thanks to those videos I watched, many crypto influencers don't know much about crypto and some are doing it for money but not all of them, some have something good you can learn from them.
And after all, these influencers make more people know about Bitcoin and adapted to it.
Honestly, we can't generalize all influencers a bad one because of 1 or two of them who did it wrong. We also have to appreciate some of them who are really helping the community to grow and spread information about crypto. They will not be going to fall but instead, we gonna expect them to grow and multiply because known personalities on social media can be a medium for such things, developers will hire them and promote their projects.
We can, I mean of course there are levels of bad, some are horrible and some are terrible and some of them are just a bit bad, but they are all bad. The reason? Because I haven't seen a single influencer who didn't aim at making money from what they provide, the "influence" they have is their currency and they want to cash that out, no matter how.

Some do that without accepting offers from projects so it looks noble but then they take ads, unrelated ads maybe, but they still do. So the goal of every single influencer is to make money from the "help" they provide, obviously some of them do not even help, and make you lose, those are the worst kind, but even the ones who help a bit do not really provide it for free, which means their goal wasn't helping you to begin with, that's the issue.

Having dipped my toes in the crypto pool, I can confirm that influencers are like the duality of an anti-hero – charming yet mischievous. They boost awareness and schooling on Bitcoin and its brethren, vital for tech growth and widespread love. However, remember, influencers aren't always legen-wait for it-dary! Social media stardom doesn't make them crypto-sages.

To tag all influencers as "naughty" is far from a done deal. Sure, many chase the green, but there are those with noble intentions, guiding folks through the crypto jungle. It's about acing the blend of knowledge drops and some sweet self-promotion. So, as we eyeball influencers with a dash of doubt, let's also salute their positive vibes in the crypto circle. And perhaps, one day, we'll be raising our glasses to that one influencer who uncovers the next big crypto treasure!

That’s an interesting point of view and conclusion OP. Moreover, it is regrettable how some crypto influencers have the ability to control traders by spreading fake predictions and information, they specifically target the greedy beginners who have lack of knowledge and education. Fortunately, the majority of this category don’t have a huge capital and it means they have no capability to influence the prices especially the ones with large market cap values such as, Bitcoin and Ethereum. In my opinion, the more crypto users gain knowledge and experience, the more influencers lose their influence and control.

There are many online course and learning about Bitcoin can be accessed without need to pay anything because it's free. But most people don't want to learn because they only want to focus to make money and following the upcoming hype to buy a potential shitcoin. If people have spent their times to learn about Bitcoin, crypto influencers will fall day by day.

I think crypto influencers will not fall because there are a lot stupid people out there.
If people will never learn from other people’s losses, then they will never continue to trust crypto influencers and consistently falling in their traps. When in fact crypto influencers do not make money for us but for their own selves, so they won’t care to stop unless they are still benefiting and profiting from us. But if we always bear in mind to educate our own selves before investing, I guess we won’t rely from crypto influencers anymore, that might be the start of their failure.

Exactly, if they personally do not want to make their self to believe in these things, they kept on believing in these influencers regardless of how other people experience it. It is sad that some people really put hope on this crypto influencers that they can help you earn more, but in reality they are just using to make them benefit something. Indeed, as long as people are relying on these influencers, their end is inevitable. And the truth is we cant push everyone to think before believing in these because they may have small knowledge about it and might have the ego that they really push that these influencers are right.

It's hard to remind them if they already trust the influencer they like.
In fact, some influencers are just trying to get their money to buy the suggested project so that the influencer can get more profit and the promotion is successful.

Putting hope in influencers and taking financial advice from them is a risk.
We don't know where the market is going because we don't have the knowledge to analyze it.

Don't assume all influencers will give good advice, they are also looking for profit and don't think about others.
Being more careful in choosing who to follow is a must.

The market is always filled with newbies and ignorant people with greed. So influencers will never lose their influence. For me, the fault is not entirely from the influencers, partly from the newbies, ignorant but always greedy people. If people realize that nothing is easy and that earning money requires knowledge, no one will be able to trick them.

I believe it is advisable to educate oneself before investing in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is a complex and rapidly evolving technology that can be difficult to understand for those who are not familiar with it. This is the reason why people often fall for the deception of cryptocurrency influencers, believing a cryptocurrency influencer without doing your own research can have several downsides. The so called Cryptocurrency influencers do not always have your best interests in mind and may promote certain coins or investments that may not be in your best interest. They may also share false or misleading information about the market or specific coins, which could lead to poor investment decisions. The most annoying thing about them is that they never face consequences for their false and misleading information.

When I was still a novice in the crypto world, I was following one of these crypto influencers on Instagram who was always posting some flashy lifestyle. He told me about investing on a platform he recommended and I decided to give it a go since I was trying to double my money. I did the initial investment, I gained some profit and decided to invest BIG to get higher profit but that was where I shot myself in the foot. I wasn’t able to withdraw my money for weeks, I complained to the ‘crypto influencer’, all he told me was to pay more to get my profit out. I couldn’t believe my ears, I knew I wasn’t getting my money back the moment I heard that. Immediately I reported to the police and FBI but they could’t provide any help so I went online in search of how I could withdraw my money from the fraud website. I eventually came across someone who spoke highly of Vaultech Asset Recovery Team stating that they assisted him in recovering some money he lost to a defi company. I spoke to them through thevaultechteam @ yahoo . com, provided every proof of payment I sent to the fraud company and they facilitated the withdrawal of my money which was successfully done. Not everybody has been lucky to get their money back from a situation like that but if you’ve been a victim of lost assets through any means, this team can help you out.

The main function of influencers in crypto is to encourage people to start, and, if possible, to teach some basics. This is actually the same in all the fields: social media influencers are just encouragers and providers of basic knowledge. For further business in crypto, most of their advices are not the best way to succeed, because their advices are either based on personal experience, and therefore not suitable for people with different background, or just ads, which are made in order to get some money from an advertiser.

The Cryptocurrency influencers do not always have your best interests in mind and may promote certain coins or investments that may not be in your best interest. Even though if people have enough knowledge to make their own decisions, they may still seek the opinion of experts in the field. Ultimately, it is important that people use their common sense and not rely solely on the opinions of others, even if they are crypto influencers. The main function of influencers in crypto is to encourage people to start or teach people some basic knowledge.

And overall, bitcoin education will decrease people's need for influencers simply because they will already have all the knowledge needed and all these Twitter posts about "PUMP IS COMING" will sound pretty stupid. And you shouldn't be the most educated person to see it. And it's pretty obvious that all these Twitter people post specifically for people who don't have a good knowledge about crypto because most of these posts are just basics and hype.

So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?

I am in Bitcoin since 2011 and I don't get what is so stupid about "PUMP IS COMING" posts? Please enlighten me! I feel like I'm not Bitcoin educated enough. Maybe you could as well tell us what your Bitcoin journey was and for how long you're in Bitcoin?  Tongue

Cryptocurrency influencers can provide useful information and raise awareness about the potential of cryptocurrencies, but consumers should always critically review the information they receive and not make investment decisions based solely on the opinions of others.

In my perspective, influencers who do post such things have their profit interest probably because they have a position and they want to hype people in order to create a demand which would generate profit for their position. Or the idea that they are just making a guess and if their guess is right, their popularity would be larger; price would either go up or down making the guess less likely to not be wrong. Bottomline is, they would get something from doing so. Especially if they are promoting a particular crypto project, ofcourse they would be biased for it. They are not wrong from doing so, they are just making their way to gain profit. It is their audiences who needs to adjust and avoid being too dependent with their idols' contents.

Either you go all in or you stay out. Don't just learn something and think that it is enough. In education, nothing is considered enough. The same goes for learning bitcoin. Once you know what the influencers are doing and trying to manipulate you, you will avoid them at any cost. It is not so hard to learn once you see how they manipulate others. So what is really important to let people know first? The education on Bitcoin or the scams that those influencers are doing?
I think from my POV, it should be exposing those influencers first. Because when people will have no one to lean on, they will start to learn on their own. That way, we kill the root of the problem and the solution will come out on its own.
No need to expose those influencers, because if you are responsible enough, you will never trust crypto influencers more than your own knowledgeable mind. That’s the reason why we have to DYOR all the time, not only at the start or at the end but certainly all the time as learning should never be limited. If this will be the mindset for all crypto beginners, either traders or investors, then crypto influencers will never make money from them and eventually quit from what they are used to do.

Oh man, I sure as shit wish that the fall of 99% of these bitcoin or crypto "influencers" would happen and happen much sooner than later.  I am by no means a bitcoin expert. I am very far from it and have been the firs to admit that since I found bitcoin back in 2013/14...but I swear I hear these so called "experts" with shits tons of followers, I mean hundreds of thousands of followers, say some of the most ridiculous shit left and right and over and over...and yet people still follow and listen.

People are inherently stupid, and I don't see that changing anytime soon..so no, I don't think we've seen the end of these "influencers".  ( Thank god Andreas is back!)

Most of these influencers are not really grounded when it comes to crypto that's why they say shits offpoint. But they can only fool those followers who are not grounded too, they can't fool someone who as a knowledge of crypto to a certain level, I predicted this would happen but don't be surprised if some followers still follower them after all this, people don't just have what it takes and they are not willing to learn either.
