Why do you favor betting on spesific sport?

I am just curious to know why people favor one Sport over another, when it comes to betting? Is there specific Sport that increase your win chance or do you bet on those Sport for other reasons?

I know most people will favor certain Sport, because they know more about the players or the teams and information is power, when it comes to betting... but some Sport are 50/50 when it comes to the outcome of the match. (One lucky punch or kick can make a underdog a champion)

There is always favoritism in almost everything  we do in life and that's also gambling inclusive and for several reasons people would want to favour a particular  team or sport over another and for me, one of the major reason I always prefer a particular sport over another is the reason you mentioned above, and I also believe that would also be similar  reason with others, because it will always be best when one sticks to  what they know especially  when making bets.
Away from choosing  a particular  sport over the other, i think choosing  a team over another is one of the case scenarios as most gamblers are die hard fans of a team and will always bet in favour of the team when the case arises.
But truth be told that, I basically don't let favoritism bother me when making bets because I always have the consciousness of making profit irrespective of what sport and game I'm betting on.

That is true,every time I have placed a bet in favor of my local team which I am a fan of I have always lost money,I don't know why is that as that is a team that usually fights for the title,yet the times I bet on them they either draw or worse even lose the game.

I personally prefer to play low risk bets,I usually parlay 2 games with over 1.5 goals each of them and the odd is rarely more than 2 but usually at 1.6-1.7 and so far most of these parlays I have played have been wins,doesn't mean they will always be,a good start for me nevertheless.

I believe that people prefer to bet on the sport that they understand better. Since I find it difficult to comprehend cricket and basketball, I will personally choose soccer because I know that it is the easiest sport to understand and that many people enjoy it. Even people in rural areas are familiar with football, and I believe that soccer gives me the best chance of winning because it is the number one game that I am extremely familiar with. As I have previously stated, I cannot bet on a sport that I do not understand. i don't remember if I have bet on any other sport than football.

And when betting, I don't think I'll bet on my team instead, I'll pick a team that has potential rather than my favorite for this reason, I'll pick a sport I know well so that I can pick teams with a better chance of winning. For instance, if we talk about Manchester City's most recent season, you can easily predict either a straight win or a draw this is an example of how knowing your sport helps you choose the best teams to bet on.

That is true there is no guarantee that you would win in sports betting. There has been many instances with me when I was confident on the team I placed my bets. Infact every other media outlet was also confident with that team and yet they lost the game. I also feel that when you bet in franchise matches it is not that easy to win because of multiple games. What I meant is that in every match the team that you think would win the title uses a different strategy against a new opponent. They would try to attack on that weaker area with a different strategy. Sometimes it is effective and sometimes it is not depending on various aspects of the game. That is the reason I only focus on a particular team and keep on betting the team regardless of the odds unless they keep losing back to back matches.

Very well said my friend, betting on sports one completely have no knowledge of is like like someone who have never traded all his or her life before, and on the first day he or she wants to learn to trade, he or she goes into futures trading and uses a whole $100 or even more to long or short a coin, and without even knowing what long and short mean, that money is gone for good 😂..

I sometimes out it curiosity and wanting to try something new, bet on games I have completely no knowledge about, and so far, I can attest to the fact that ive lost most of such games, far more than the ones I've been lucky to win, so preferring to bet on certain kinda of games could also mean preferring not to throw your money away unnecessarily.

Even on other sports which weight division is something that should really be having because its really way too simple on betting up on those sports if ever this category wont really be that applied because the bigger and heavier would really be definitely be able to win but of course we do really have that underdog chances on beating up the favorites but we know that this doesnt happen all the time and something that you cant really

Why do people choose betting for specific sports because they can analyze the possible losses and wins. Because in sports, there are usually several possibilities for who will win, whether it's in a team or personal sport. Although sometimes these analyzes and estimates are wrong for a number of reasons, one of which may be manipulation at certain times. But one thing is certain, this becomes a joy in itself when the team or someone they are championing wins in that match which automatically makes our bets win too. every gambling activity even though it is a sports bet which can be predicted also still depends on luck because sometimes the underdog team can still lose even worse if we bet on sports we don't know about and only bet on underdog teams. maybe if we are lucky we will get a win but if not, it's just like a casino game.
so the reason is clear enough that we always bet on certain sports because we always do an analysis before betting to get a win and on the one hand if we really want to try betting on other sports we can try our luck with a small amount of betting on the favorite team.
