 Solona are now again gaining some momentum. when its price drop to 9$ I was expecting that it will down just like luna but meme coin Bonk saved it and its price again recover to 20$. Solona Saga phone is new things they are going to launch which represents that team still doing there best to provide Best network to its user. I think investing in Sol is good.

I dont think that its a good idea to buy Solana and hold it for a very long time. Some short flip maybe if you are good at trading, but definitely not for long term.  The only coin worth holding for many years is Bitcoin as everything else is a big gamble.

I can’t help but agree, I think that it’s a good idea to buy Solana and leave her for a long time, bitcoin is best, and is also considered more reliable and balanced, and relatively stable.

Lots of users here are still cautious about Solana because FTX are involved with it and they are planning to restart their crypto exchange again. Where do you think they will get the money? People suspects from their Solana investment but it was still up to you if you will invest on it because it was your money not ours.

Not just that, several news reports plenty of times that its network was suspended. As for USDC and USDT transfers, in some exchanges withdrawals and deposits were halted but only for the Solana chain. This was quite a long time ago but can still be used as a reference for those who think of investing in it.

There is something you need to know about altcoin, investing in altcoin doesn't really depends on you trying to choose a suggestion or even wanting someone to give you the go ahead order before buying. You should look at when making a lost those who have suggested for you may not be there to bear risk with you or even share lost with you, so i just suggest you should make the final decision on whether to invest in that project or not. But get one thing for sure about altcoin since we are closely looking at the bitcoin halving, there is every tendency that most of the major altcoin or all will certainly do well, where i don't encourage buying altcoin is inside bull run because you don't know what may come after Green time.

Why Sol? Why not Bitcoin? I mean, if you aren't sure of the future of the coin you are targeting buying because of unforeseeable risk; why not invest that cash in Bitcoin which has durability? Sol was a hotcake in the past but it seems all that frenzy has died off now. No one can tell you for sure what the future holds for Sol or any other altcoin. We are all speculators. That's the best anyone can get to in this industry. However, for you to deliberate on buying Sol it means there's something you think can make it a beneficial project. If what makes you think so is still there then it should be a good call from your angle. Remember, no one here is certain of the future of Sol or any other.

Some people are preferred to invest in altcoins instead of Bitcoin because of possible huge profit but granting it was intended for long-term investment, I agree it was a wrong decision for OP. However, I wasn't really confident that OP can manage to hold Solana or are able to buy it after hearing some bad news about it. I don't want to discourage him but must also aware of the situation as well and while investing Solana is taking a huge risk, unlike when buying Bitcoin which we could really have peace of mind no matter what will happen in the market.

Inasmuch as I am a supporter of altcoin i won't encourage any one holding much altcoin all less is just for a short term because i doubt if they can survived for long run. As a wise investors or strong believer of bitcoin i will advise you to buy and hold only 30 percent of altcoin and 70 percent of bitcoin at this no much risk is involved because you have tried to lessen the risk factors.

Usually as for me i don't really look at the huge profits at that point in time because one could fell as victim while trying to chase big profits.
I don't think op would see it as discouragement because he was the one who is solely seeking for an idea, it is good to tell him the truth and left for him to choose whether to invest or not. If he thinks reducing his tension towards the investment then he should go with bitcoin and if he thinks of getting of huge profits then he should go with altcoins but the risk is very huge as well as they may not run for long term rather than shorts terms.

If we talk about buying for long-term investment, that is difficult to foresee the future of Solana but if we are just accumulating this for the preparation of the upcoming bull season, that seems a good idea. However, putting huge money into this project is not really worth it. Well, that's for me, because I don't just look at the current situation but I consider its performance in the past and seems not performing well which is possible that it will be behaving that way again. But of course, investing in this project is not a bad idea, perhaps, it was still working which is enough to think that it never dies too easily.

at this point i think solana fame has reached another low, that I don't think it's good to invest in solana anymore, even many people here seemed to have same opinion like me, solana just doesn't have the potential anymore it's being left by many people and right now there are many coins that's currently hot like arbitrum, even its massive meme trend have been gathering so much investments, i doubt solana could ever make comeback.

From what I've seen, Solana is getting quite a bit of attention and traction in the crypto world. It has fast transaction speed and lower fees compared to some other cryptocurrencies. However, nowadays I rarely see projects that use the SOL chain.

Even so, investing in any cryptocurrency comes with risks, and the market can be very volatile. I think, if I were in your shoes, I would do thorough research, look at the Solana team in 2023, and potential use cases, and only invest what I can afford to lose. So, it might be a good idea to diversify your portfolio with other cryptocurrencies or investments as well.

There are currently many other projects that are better than Solana.  You can try investing in projects like CFX or CRO.  But of course this depends on how your decision.  Solana is a great project but at the moment I see they are not doing any developments or innovations that would make me think about investing in it.
