I give you a small advice that.  You can have some facilities like Binance P2P transaction through pay id.  You can have the facility of transfer through email from coinbase, etc.  In this case, the person who will make the Bitcoin payment will not need any transaction fee.  So in this case Bitcoin users may be more interested in Bitcoin payments

Sorry mate, I get your whole idea now and its a very good one too,  saving the coins gotten from the sales of your product is actually good since you have stated you have other things going on that can fetch you cash for the restock of your business which means saving those coins won't be a hard deal at all and for the safe wallet, electrum wallet could probably do the trick just make sure you save your seed phrase offline or if that not soothing enough a cold wallet software is probably best as its save from every  possible online hack and attack.

Well, that's a good move as long as you know your choice won't affect your business.
Going by what you said, your best decision or choice rather, would be to order a hardware wallet, like trezor or Ledger hardware wallet, and might interest you to know that ledger is currently offering free shipping to customer that buy ledger Nano until may 23rd, you can find this information on their website..

Though still safe, but I will strongly advice against using a mobile wallets like mycelium and the rest, though you could still use mycelium or any other good mobile bitcoin wallet to receive bitcoin payments from customers, but make sure to have a hardware wallet available where you will move all the bitcoins received that day to, after you close business for that day, this is more of because, like you said, you plan to hold for a long time.

Edit: And whatever type of mobile bitcoin wallet you choose, make sure it's non-custodial and open source, mycelium I mentioned above is non-custodial and open source as well, trust wallet is very popular, but it's not open source, so I do not recommend it.

It's been almost a month since you created this topic and asked your questions. By this point, have you decided on the choice of wallet or are you still not able to decide on the choice (if so, then this is rather unusual)? It's a great idea to have it as a payment option. Imagine, having a sign with its logo and that says you accept Bitcoin payment, it's already a form of advertising and giving awareness to your customers. Probably most customers would just ignore it and will still go with the payment method they know which is through fiat. But they might remember that they've seen Bitcoin in your gas station, and that could be their first stage in recognizing and being familiar with Bitcoin.
