Pepe The Frog (PepeBNB) made 644% in 2 days and keeps growing

We seriously need a big purge in crypto. I am losing my mind thinking about what people spend their money on, I can't believe that everyone is alright about this, nobody should be alright about any of this. It just doesn't feel like it's a good idea to keep on investing into silly stuff just because you think it could make you some money.

I hope that it does better in the end, I hope we get rid of these type of stuff but more importantly I hope that we get rid of the mindset that silly stuff could make you money and that's all that we care about. I am sorry but if you keep on caring about just the money part, just the money will be the thing you will lose, there is no need to do anything like this at all, it makes no sense.

I find it very strange when I see these expenditures that the volume of their money wasted in crypto is too much. Pepe is a very popular icon, but they obviously use it for stuffing. Some people are not afraid to try and invest in different meme tokens. I've never heard of any profiteering in my own circle. It really seems unreasonable to me to invest in such projects.

Just now I heard about PepeBNB, there is also a Pepe token on Ethereum but it seems to be different (same name) but listed on CEX seems to be a lot of trading volume on the token.
I expect that they made the same token on BNB in order to benefit from the trend, anyway if it is profitable it is okay to try.

Same here although this wasn't surprising. When someone is on trend, greedy developers are then creating a coin that is related to it. Remember when Dogecoin boom? There are then different variations of the coin which also has a dog logo on them but some are created on different chains as they think it will make them unique but that didn't help at all.

The PEPE token that is under the Ethereum chain, must be the original and this PEPE under Binance chain is only just a clone but either of the two, investors must exercise extreme caution as both of them are just meme coin which is worse than Shiba Inu and Dogecoin. PEPE token isn't new but it wasn't successful on its release so I won't be surprised if other fallen meme coins are also going to rise later on as this seems the latest trend of the crypto market.

This just means that many still want to exploit the memecoins theme for personal enrichment. And it can be assumed that this new coin will never repeat the success of Shiba Inu. And after a while, when the owners of PepeBNB sell their coins, this coin is waiting for a dump.

Be careful with these pepe craze. I know that this is a different one from the PEPE that has became popular but just in case that someone is into it and with different Pepe's that can be found in the market.

just be careful if these meme coin has reached such tremendous increase because many people are considering investing when some meme coin already rise thousand percent but they don't know that usually these meme coin gonna lost its value real fast, only invest in meme coin when it still got zero increase, other wise be ready to incur massive loss caused by dumpings.

Either way, these tokens got no utility. Its basically a pump and dump and if you are reading about it now,  it means the ship has sailed and if you buy now you are going to be a forever bag-holder. Maybe if it gets listed on Binance it might get a higher market cap but I am pretty sure this is a far as it will go.

I would like to believe this coin has no more room to go up, but as Keynes said ‘The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent’, if the market was truly rational then a coin like PEPE would not be worth a single cent, but instead it is worth more than 100 millions, and it would not surprise me if this coin still had the possibility of going up even further and become way more expensive than the current price at which is being traded.

I find it funny because these are some of the ways that developers in this crypto space go, they expect to come up with impressive names. It's funny because this is a project that mimics another, and the way people talk about it is funny, the comparison doesn't make any logical argument, they like illusions and bring that illusion to people others, and these people consider themselves to be the trend in the market. Unfortunately it coincides with the greed of many people who want to increase their profits quickly, and what I can see is failure.

this is the thing that says "Dont look at the current movement" because that will bring you so much pain once you become one of foolish people that invest still and it happens like now.

People got rugged. I give very big applause for people who never listened others. The developers were just dumped their tokens. The liquidity already drained and the prices go to the ground again. It backs even lower compared with the price when it was starting.

True, I warned at the beginning that it might be scam because it is exploiting a similar token name on the Ethereum network, it looks like the scammers dumped their tokens in large quantities so the price crashed.
Not the first time, it won't be the last.

I never understand that memecoins are being recognized by the community hence there are top projects out there are not being seen by many that has solid fundamentals and real used case. I do believe PEPE is just a hype, a pump and dump that's why I never engage in this kind of project that has high risk to be rug pulled in the future.

The community is ever-changing, on the early days the expertise of the average user of this forum was off the charts as almost anyone that adopted bitcoin was into cryptography and that is how they discovered bitcoin was created, then new users came that albeit not as technical on their knowledge they still knew a great deal about the economy and how everything works, but the average person that invests now, cares only about the money, and as such they like meme coins even if we know they are scams.

I have no illusions about PEPE. Another coin for significant price fluctuations. I definitely would not keep it, but if you have extra finances that are not afraid to lose, then you can take a chance and make money on it. The main thing is not to get too carried away and remember that it is of little worth, therefore, it clearly does not deserve long-term trust.

My advise to people that made good profit from $Pepe is that they should take profit and let the remaining profit to run, nothing last forever and if BTC can go from $68K to $16k anything is possible, I just feel before we start to take $Pepe serious it needs to pass through its difficult time and see if it will rise again from the ashes just like other successful Altcoins

When the greed strikes they may just wait till they get more up to the bull run next year.
I think the pump of the token will not really end yet since it's just starting. Like SHIB, it continues to go up for more than a year which attracted a lot of newbies in crypto profiting 30x with their $100. Even the old crypto user will be tempted to ride this pump.

Just like the other meme token, if the hype is already gone you can’t expect anything but to lose its value over time. You’re lucky if you are able to buy during the time OP posted this because the price is a lot more cheaper compare to its price today. If you’re late already better not to chase it and look for other new hot meme token, that can be a good option because PEPE might lose the hype in a week after it hits the big market.
