OP i was thinking if there is a beef going on between Nigerians here on this board when i saw this headings of yours and that was what got me attracted to reading your post here and unfortunately, it was very far from my thought. It baffles me how OP keeps complaining about this issue after knowing fully well the what Nigerians are always upto.

Na all love here, since I dey forum I never see area fight before, if person enter wahala way be like oppression them dey try back am up unless say na something way dey clear say the person do am, that one na oyo.

Of lately,  i came across a post on scam accusation board  and i was looking at the  profile  and how it got here. It pisses  me off that the rift was between two Nigerians.

I no know of any thread like that and I no sure say na we dey there, the only matter for reputation board I dey aware of na the account way them say person buy.

You know say anybodi when just new register account here for this forum the first thing when dey come thier mind nah how to earn merits, so most of them now Kon dey reason say dem fit bypass the normal process by using AI to generate ideas and also to generate answers to certain post.
Sometimes, if I dey proofread post when I make and I notice some mistakes for maybe spellings or grammar, I dey purposely leave am like that because nobody for this world dey perfect and nah also sign say nah human being write am nor be one those AI when dey reign for everywhere.

Yes, I came across several threads and replies made by some newbies who just introduced themselves here in naija board and then ventured out into the forum to continue their learning journey, I have reported some of them and also left some probably because I had something to do at that moment.
The use of AI in this forum is becoming something else and if not controlled with the appropriate measures it's going to affect the forum in a negative way.

Yeah I agree  with you, the use of AI in this forum is something else, but I think is mostly done by the newbies, coming new in the forum that looks strange to them and different topics and conversations they believe the only way they could blend in is by AI to easily generate words.

As such I recommend measures been put inplace to eradicate those AI generated words because it could effect the forum negatively, come to even think of it why use AI to generate words? Is that they don't know what to say?, The little you can speak should be enough.

This issue of plagiarism is getting out of hand and so far eyes are beginning to look into  our board and members now. This has so far dragged us into their watch list and and the heat has been on some of us. Some members could attest to the attacks on them which did not go down well with them.

Using AI is as good as you not making any statement here because the output is quite different from the normal. Some terminologies are quite different not only that, the statement from the AI does not reflect the output from a normal human statement based on the and message being passed across as it does not really reflect to what is being discussed. It is not as organic as it is supposed to be.

Any newbie that has refused to hid to advise, if caught, should be made to dance and face the music they choose to play.

Make we no make the mistake for wetin OP talk, he no talk say na 70% of our people dey use AI, he say na 70% of the 10 accounts way he investigate dey use AI. As much as we dey get more newbies everyday for our board, we also get senior members way dey do well, the bad of some newbies no go spoil our individual efforts. I won encourage all of us especially our newbies and those way dey give them update say na here e dey hapun, make we do the right thing. satoPrincess thanks for this reply, as both CryptoHeadlineNews and Doan9269 comments clearly shows that their both didnt read the post before repliyng while doan9269 comment show he just wrote from the topic since the topics clearly mentioned abused and of 9ja government on leaders image on a bad spot here on bitcointalk., but the thread is more or less about AI text generator usage, and how his personal survey and investigation fine 70% of the 10 accounts he investigated guilty, he doesn't mean he said 70% of the entire 9ja community members are guilty of AI usage.

So CryptoHeadlineNews should be clear about that, only a few newbies have been caught for AI usage here in the forum, make I no lie una, I know even know how AI is used since it is not appealing to my person since text generated from AI are easily noticeable and less read since their are not organic.

In the cryptocurrency market, AI may not be a good tool, since there is less for Development to do, most of those that could rely on such tools are articles writers who want to generate multiple texts unlike bitcointalk that doesn't require thousands charactercters just to get approved, here we just write in simple terms just to contribute to the discussions.

My problem here is that most people who thinks they are all in all , like pulling others down by believing every good and well constructed post is AI generated. I once post something in a listed manner, yet some complained that is only AI that generate such post. Let me tell you the truth, if the software used in detecting AI generated post is configured to work In a particular manner, it does not matter whether it is human written, it must definitely be tagged AI. One's post will be believed to be human written if their are some flaws which I believe is not a good criteria for such quick judgement as some do.

I also noticed that most of our people are of the behaviour of attacking others as AI generated post. If you come across post you know nothing about , just ignore and move on instead of attacking the poster because the persons idea does not match with yours.  If you have spent more years on the forum, stop attacking young users, instead help them in your capacity as some have always done.

70% of the 10 accounts tested guilty (though new ones) have identified with us by writing on our board. After using AI-detection sites and ChatGPT, I still proceeded to carefully study the posts manually to deliver my verdict. The plagiarism is much even as some of these posts had already been declared AI-generated by other users before me. I find this implicating, and I advise us to stop it.
