Using IP address for Bitcoin Core

The good way is to use Tor, I understand that but I can see that some people use their internet service provider IP directly for their nodes. Assuming if someone uses IP address instead of using Tor, what information can be leaked to the internet service provider?

Can the internet service provider know my bitcoin addresses or the internet service provider will just know that I am using Bitcoin Core but not able to link it to my bitcoin addresses and transactions?

I am not talking about SPV wallets but only full node wallets.

I think internet service providers are limited in the level of information they can acquire from their users. which is that they can only know the sites and locations from which the users visit, not the entire information the user inputs. 

I don't think it's possible to link any Bitcoin wallet address to a user's IP; talk more about wallets under the running node. Linking the wallet address to the user's location is only 100% possible if the user is using a centralized system where their login location can be detected.

Linking the wallet address to the user's location is only 100% possible if the user is using a centralized system where their login location can be detected.

I accept this also. It is also possible if using a self-custodial wallet that depends on central servers, the central servers can know your bitcoin addresses and IP address which they use to seek for the person that is using the IP address from the internet service provider. If the internet service provider give them the information needed, they can know the person, but this is still better than using a custodial wallet which is centralized.

You leak it other other Bitcoin nodes, not Internet service provider which has to do more analyses to figure out what you are doing when using their service. That I don't think they have interests to spend resources to do it.

For other Bitcoin nodes, they do know what you are doing as you and them are in a same Bitcoin clan.

As far as I know it's not the Internet Service Provider (ISP) that get to link your IP address to your node but the other bitcoin nodes on the network.
Since you are connected to your peers on the bitcoin network they will be able to see your IP address as well as your location and then trace back to you.
There are also risks of a targeted DoS attack to your node and so it's better to use Tor at first place.

Basically that. The Internet provider doesn't know your addresses, because you don't share them with the rest of the nodes. You only broadcast transactions and there is no manner to figure out which transaction is yours and which is coming from elsewhere via propagation.

I think the data that can only be a leak is the data of what you visited online I don't think they can retrieve the data if you own that address and by analyzing the IPs and packet data they can check the IPs you accessing to since Bitcoin core needs to connect to peers or other nodes if those IPs are known then ISP or internet provider will detect that you are using Bitcoin core but not the Bitcoin addresses from your wallet unless you keep checking this address on the block explorer that they will think that URL that you keep accessing is your BTC address.
The same goes for RPC over the internet if you retrieve your wallet address through the RPC command then it would leak your Bitcoin address unless you enable the SSL to encrypt the data sent to the internet. But the problem is SSL was removed year's ago in Bitcoin core. That is why the only option you have, if you want to run a full node without data leak is to enable hidden Tor service.

ISP can know and by analyzing your internet activity can guess that you run full node and by comparing your IP address with other services that can collect more data about you and/or know your addresses, but this requires a judicial permission or tracking from a government agency that has resources.

Managing full node without TOR connection will enable you to verify all transactions by yourself.

Relying on a third party enables him to:

• Edit with your address/wallet balance.
• Show some transactions that it is confirmed or not confirmed
• Knowing all your addresses or not broadcasting new transactions.

Everything that's transmitted. Bitcoin node doesn't use encryption to send/receive data between nodes. BIP 151 and 324 attempt to solve that, but BIP 151 has been abandoned while BIP 324 still on development for Bitcoin Core software.

ISP would have hard time knowing whether you only relay other's transaction or your own transaction. They would have to perform massive logging or cooperate with other ISP/government in order to determine which transaction most likely belong to yours.
