Having Bitcoin gives you confidence but diversifying your portfolio gives you greater confidence. Bitcoin is still a very volatile and highly speculative asset which I encourage everyone I know to have at least some of it because of its future potential.  I think the confidence I have in Bitcoin stems from my investment strategy, my knowledge about it, the level of risk I can manage, and my goals.

You are right, I have invested thousands of dollars in crypto between 2022 and 2023, and my main confidence is in the Bitcoin I am holding, I believe that even if all other projects failed me Bitcoin won't.

This is why Bitcoin takes the highest percentage of space in my wallet, if you are a smart investor you should know that Bitcoin is the safest crypto investment out there, so make sure you hold more Bitcoin that every other coin in your wallet.

Some people complain about the smaller profits that Bitcoin can only generate now because they missed buying when the value was very lower in the past years but still, I do believe that 4x or 5x is possible from Bitcoin, as for an asset thats most safer I don't have any problem with 4x to 5x gains.

Yes, bitcoin gives us a much safer feeling than altcoins. But the higher the risk, the higher the return, altcoins are not safe and not bring comfortable for us as investing in bitcoin, but if you are lucky enough, altcoin profits will be bigger than bitcoin. Investing in altcoins is like gambling, if you are willing to accept losses, then you can try your luck. But if you are a person who prefers safety, and accepting less profit, then bitcoin is the right choice for you.

This is true, I have never talked about any other coins than Bitcoin whenever a newbie ask me about crypto investment, I always advise that Bitcoin is the safest one among the rest, even if they decide to go for altcoins I will still advice them to buy some Bitcoin, because the chances of staying alive is high unlike other altcoins that can rug pull or die at anytime.

Bitcoin will continue to be the best digital coin for my and it will remain the number 1 investment plan on my mind, if I make an insane amount of money from altcoins ,its all coming back to Bitcoin, my long term aim is having up to 2 BTC in my wallet, I believe that this is achievable through altcoins investments, but for now I planned to keep accumulating some BTC and also some altcoins.

Like a commander general, bitcoin is always in charge and in the leading role come rain come shine. Like a safe-haven no matter how deep the dip gets bitcoin can be relied on of not crash unlke other altcoins would in the event of a deep dip survival to regaining value is hardly the case.

For many wise investors, whenever bitcoin dip occurs they quickly grab it as an opportunity to DCA because they understand that it's another opportunity to make more profit in ascending order. And I think every newbie should get hold of this strategy that instead of getting frightened about a bitcoin dip it should be a good time to make another profit trip.

Only those who have lost their money investing in ALT Coin know how safe it is to invest in Bitcoin. I have seen many ALT coins that have completely disappeared from the market.  But that never happened with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most reliable coin in cryptocurrencies. I think I disagree with the part where you said "Bitcoin gives peace of mind". Bitcoin only gives peace of mind when it's doing well. If it's not then it's the opposite. It's hard watching your investment lose value. That is why patience is needed when it comes to Bitcoin.

I believe having any investment gives confidence. There's this confidence that comes with having an investment in someone that is yielding profit or would yield profit in the future. When you have an asset that is appreciating in value, there's always a good feeling about that, but when this asset is depreciating in value, rest of mind will be the last kind of feeling you'll feel at that point.

Yes, you actually spoke well in this very statement of yours, because not only do owing Bitcoin gives confidence, but owing it in the right safe & secured wallet is what gives more confidence & peace of mind just as you mentioned above, knowing fully well that with Bitcoin, it gives you control over your funds. However, Bitcoin remains the first and number one cryptocurrency to ever exist with it having the highest trading volume, market cap & price currently at $27k per BTC, of which thou it's expensive, it is divided into mini fractions called "Satoshis" that can be afforded even with the least $3 with exchange such as "Remitano".

Out of the whole population consensus in the world, atleast 65 % are HODLing Bitcoin and that's alot to atleast make anyone have enough confidence to HODL as well.
On the other hand, altcoins have made alot of negative impartation on the digital money-brand, Cryptocurrency. Sometimes we'll wanna ask how?? I mean, alot of peeps have been searching their ways to get into the cryptographic line, but at the end of the day, they' might be given an option on altcoins with some huge profits; that could possibly mean everything to them since they're only starting....but when the losses Begins to pop-up, they'll end up blaming Bitcoin and thwarting the efforts by tagging different names to it. OP, I think you need to see this thread. It's a question of whether it would be profitable to hold coins that are ranked in the top 10 of market cap. So perhaps if someone is investing in crypto today and buys Bitcoin and other ten or twenty different Altcoins, many of those coins would not survive the test of time in the next two or even ten years. So there is always this confidence in having Bitcoin in your portfolio, because even if those other shite altcoins crumble, your Bitcoin would still be there, and you would also have made profit on it.

I usually don't advise any newbie to start buying altcoins, but due to the influence of a friend here, I wouldn't give such a warning again. Anyone who is not investing in Bitcoin has their own risk to bear with altcoins.

Peace of mind is not a matter of where you invest. That could be part of it but believe me it's too secondary. The first step to peace of mind is personal decision and strongness of the mind.
No matter which coin you invest in, there's always a skip of mind when the bear market is happening. But why the bitcoin investors are more safe is that they know that bitcoin will surely bounce back no matter how long it takes, but this cannot be said of many altcoins which might not return to life after bear market.

All bitcoin enthusiasts share the same feeling.  Bitcoin is the only trustworthy cryptocurrency that will recoup its value after experiencing market volatility.  When compared to other cryptocurrencies, the risk connected with it is negligible.

When we see other cryptocurrencies leave the market and losing value during a market downturn, bitcoin is always the safest of them all, and all other cryptocurrencies follow bitcoin's trend and movements in both directions. The decentralized aspect that distinguishes it from other cryptocurrencies cannot be overstated, yet owning bitcoin comes with the peace of mind that it is a safe and secure asset.

Generally speaking, when someone mentions crypto, what comes to people's mind first is bitcoin not altcoin. Bitcoin is the king of all crypto and it is through her that altcoins were made.

I don't trade and I didn't really have time to watch the prices. One day this bag was only worth a few satoshis.

Yes, those who have seen a lot of Altcoin collapse by 100% and sometimes 200% or more know this feeling. Those people who lost their coins in these collapses will know the feeling of confidence when having Bitcoin.

2022 was a scary year for altcoin investors, we all saw two strong altcoins crashed last year, that’s just evidence that altcoins shouldn’t be relied on, anything can happen any moment, people investing in altcoins where scared last year because they don’t know the next coin that will crash, maybe it’s the one they are holding or not.

When you own Bitcoin, you are assured of peace of mind, because you know that no matter how much the price falls, it must rise again to new peaks. So all you have to do is throw your bitcoins into the wallet and forget about it.

Altcoins crashed last year and their money was gone, bitcoin can’t crash like that, the only thing that will happened to bitcoin is that the price will dump and if you are the strong type that can hold, then with time it’s going to bounce back, but if some altcoins can crash, then they are dead already, they will never recover any amount you invest is gone already, that’s why we have to think twice before choosing to invest in either bitcoin of altcoins.
