Rather than asking yourself the nature of your risk-taking to be a good or bad thing, you should be looking at past data. How much profits have you made? Have you made losses? How often? Take a look at the past and you can "copy paste" that timeline into an imagined future. Yes, I've been seeing lots of threads which talks about the difference of gambling and trading, and there has been an endless discussion about that. I think this is because we have different ways on how we see things. I think this is because both share some commonalities, but it does not mean that they are similar with each other. As far as I know, gambling relies more on luck, although there are gambling games that requires you to do basis analysis like sports betting, we still cannot deny that luck is a huge factor and that the outcomes are unpredictable.
