Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day

Mostly the losses have been gradual and not very big at once, but I remember once I lost a significant amount of money that I don't remember the date to. It was around $200 but it was about 5 to 6 years ago and though it doesn't sound like a big amount, it was for me since I don't come from a very rich family background or from a developed country.

The game was dice, of course, and I remember I used the martingale strategy that used to work for me for some time and I used it again to cover the losses that I had initially, and soon after I realized I'm already out of money with a massive loss streak.

Dice and the martingale strategy are something that are so attached that they can't be separated, recently I also lost a little money again with that strategy, but it doesn't matter to me after all it's just a game of fun, if I win then I'll withdraw it if I lose consider Of course I'm donating money to the casino, but I think $200 is a lot of money in my opinion, since I bet usually spending only $20 on craps I think that's a lot.

But there are many casino games available now like limbo which is actually almost the same way to play the Limbo game, still using the martingale strategy will not win, I think any gambling machine is difficult to beat with this strategy or indeed this strategy was created by the casino itself so that it can be used other people and finally the machine reads it then easily beats you.

I think it's not so much a past event that you keep chasing. I think past losses are forgotten relatively quickly. The problem lies more with the recent losses. Someone who lost 100k 5 years ago will not try to lose it back. Someone who lost 10k 3 hours ago will hunt to get it back of course. One person deals with losses differently than others. But would people ever think back to how lucky they all were when they won? often they think they win because their strategy was good but in fact they just got very lucky.

Whenever i do look back into these days then i could really say that i might really be that a millionaire basing up on our local currency if i had just able to hold off with these coins.

I have not lost a huge amount since I often play with limited budget of $30 to $50.  I always stop when my bankroll is emptied out.  It is the winnings and continue to play that I regretted. It was when I already won $500+ but keep on playing.  I should have stopped and withdrawn the amount but due to greed and wanting to win more, I keep on gambling even raising my bet to some degree until my winnings and my initial bankroll got depleted.

This is a rare matter. Using gambling to buy car, build house and sustain a family for a long period of time is not easy. Because one can not win every day but one can lose every day and that is gambling for you. But your one big win can give you the above mentioned and it will never be in one day.

And one thing I noticed from gamble is that, sport betting is more favorable then casino games gambling. Because in casino gambling, you gamble with systems and not with human like sport bet.

To be honest, I don't remember exactly when. but what is certain, many of the gamblers, have experienced losses that they greatly regret. so do I, I have that experience. Actually what haunts me to this day is not losses but the feeling of disappointment in losing big wins because of my greed.

I don't remember which game exactly made me lose a lot, but one time I lost around 0.5 BTC back in the days when Bitcoin's price was around $300. At the time, it was only worth $150, but compared to Bitcoin's current price, it makes me feel regretful because if I had saved that money until now, I could have done a lot with it. However, that's just how life is, and after experiencing a loss it's important to move on and not overthink about it.

Currently, I don't gamble much and when I do, I only stake few bucks on Champions League games while I watch them live or sometimes for interesting other football games, For me, gambling is just for fun and I dont take it serious at all.

I've been losing in gambling before, most especially in slot games, but the loss I mentioned above is one that turned my life upside down, I put everything I had on that bet which mostly was money from my business, which I withdraw from the business solely for the purpose of placing this bet, with hope of winning, then take out the capital and put back In my business, then use the profit made to further expand the business and take care of other expenses..

It never crossed my mind that it is possible for me to lose that money, due to the fact that I was over confident that Argentina would win the game, but they lost to Saudi Arabia, and I lost my money, every strength I had left me, and I collapsed, I was hospitalized for about 3 days, this was my worst experience since I started gambling and loosing money..

Basically I was having a good streak of luck while playing dices and had accumulated some gains, I was feeling bored that day so I continued playing as I was. This happened two years back and I did a big mistake and for that still I'm running and soon after the incident I shared my loss in a thread (Be A Responsible Gambler) as to come out of it. The only loss that bothers me was a bad company not allowing me to withdraw so they just disappeared eventually.    The excuse to block withdrawals was via kyc which I presented but they objected and demanded more documents to be given in person; I should have realized they were being fake and merely delaying for their later plan to decline all balances while shutting down the site.

Sports betting is usually considered to be safer than other casino games since you have the opportunity to analyze the games and teams and select a team based on that, but this proves that when you are unlucky, even a favorite team can lose the game and you will lose your bet.
