Imagine if there was a thing, what thing? I don't know, just imagine a thing that people could store value, just like gold, and at the same time they could exchange this thing among everyone on earth without depending of any trusted partier. This thing is also limited just like gold, and it is so limited that there is only 21 millions available, but it is not a problem because you can buy literally only $1 dollar of it in seconds. There is no way you can just print more of this thing because there are thousands of copies of every single transactions all around the world. And there are also thousands and thousands of people that are building around this thing, discovering new technologies, searching for possible fails and improving it, writing about it, teaching about it, well..

Bitcoin is the thing.

Any ideas to spread the Bitcoin education to the world?

I'm making a YouTube channel to simplify Bitcoin for beginners, and also making daily threads on Twitter.

Check my new thread - "Bitcoin simplified for beginners" and give me feedback:
https://twitter.com/bit4uYT/status/1652713706738921472

The best way to teach the world about Bitcoin was through the internet if you do a Youtube video it's already a big help to the community just make sure that you share useful knowledge about crypto or Bitcoin. Other social media platforms will be a great help Facebook, Twitter, etc. was great platforms for sharing cryptocurrency, I mean bitcoin is already spreading and I can see a lot of countries continue to adopt Bitcoin on a lot of platforms.

I guess the easiest way was to teach your knowledge to your family or relatives since they are the ones who you can easily teach your knowledge, when you do that and they also believed in bitcoin and start to invest they might as well teach it to their friends etc.

There should be a catalyst wherein people will start getting interested on bitcoin, there are now a lot of educational videos that are posted not only in youtube but in different online platforms but majority of the poeople are not aware and not interested on bitcoin because they have wrong perception towards it. I have a mini conversation before with friends of mine regarding bitcoin, the first phrase that he said is that: "is it risky right? I'm afraid to invest because there is a chance that I can get scam". There is no wrong to what he said but it only proves that only few people are aware to what it is, how it works and what information that you need in order to start investing on it.

There is a connection on people who are interested to learn bitcoin and the people who are seeking financial literacy and financial freedom. I think it is the reason why only few wants to have education about bitcoin. For me, the answer is simply Desire. Even if you put a lot of education videos in the internet but the majority of people doesn't have desire and interest on it; then the solution of putting more videos in the internet is not the key for it.

Yes, there are resources that can be found on the internet and it is all there, only we need to look at them. But it was not just we addressing them to look into it but also, it was important to have at least some discussion personally if possible because there is a big difference when it was just reading compared to a situation where someone is talking to you in front or just true virtual communication which your questions can be answered right away and clear.

But I see that it was best to communicate and educate people who really have an interest to listen and being open-minded. They will surely grasp what we wanted to teach and be able to retain it in their minds.

Well, I think it's very important to educate the public about the benefits and risks of Bitcoin, especially as more and more individuals and companies start adopting it. Your efforts to create a YouTube channel and daily threads on Twitter are a great way to spread awareness and simplify the complexities of Bitcoin for beginners.

In addition to your current initiative, there are several other ideas you could consider. Hold webinars or online meetings to discuss Bitcoin and answer questions about Innovation, Security, Adoption and patterns of empowerment so that it can help build a community around it.

Creating educational content such as infographics or blog posts that outline key concepts can also help. My last suggestion, collaborating with other Bitcoin enthusiasts or organizations can widen your reach and bring more attention to the cause. In the end, the locus is for mass adoption by the community.

It takes just one person to put you in the right path in understanding Bitcoin then the rest work is left for you as if you truely want to learn about Bitcoin then you have to do further learning yourself. One person can do it alone, you must not be in groups to go and convinced someone to start investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is very easy to explain and more easier when they person you're teaching is educated.

When discussing Bitcoin with someone and they're not interested, you don't have to force the teaching on them, just let them be and when they're ready they'll come around. We have so many people that needs Bitcoin in their lifes as it'll make a big difference when they can earn an income to help with everybody needs.
The point lies in someone who wants to get to know bitcoin and if they know bitcoin is an investment solution that they can run then many sources will lead them to know bitcoin in detail. Today there is widespread media explaining bitcoin both on YouTube channels, Twitter and others, but they need to be able to filter the information so they don't get lost with the real information.

If after going through the discussion they are not interested then you should leave and don't try to convince people like this, because for them any information about bitcoin is not useful for them to listen to. I prefer to go through the explanation one by one for people in introducing bitcoin, but first I will see their interest in bitcoin first and if they intend to learn about bitcoin they will definitely be interested and will try to discuss anything they want to know.

A lot of articles on the internet Google, books , and YouTube videos about Bitcoin has made Bitcoin education more available to those that are interested to know, with your smart phones one can Google whatever information he wants to know about Bitcoin just in a matter of minutes and the whole information is with him or her, the only barrier we have over this is inavailability of internet in some various locations across the world and this is where one on one tutoring is highly encouraged.

I understand that by using the internet and social media one can easily spread education regarding a certain point or thing, but there is basically no point in doing what everyone else is doing. It is better if real-world events and seminars are held to teach people about Bitcoin and blockchain technology, its existence, how it works, etc.

People tend to learn things more easily when they are conveyed by a person standing in front of them instead of watching them online or reading about them. I personally am like that and I guess most people are like that too who learn more if things are done and shown practically.

Misinformation is something that can make someone fail to understand something properly. In fact they should not only be advised to read, but they should also do so from a trusted source that does not attach importance to the author's personal sentiments or opinions. Of course in the end the right information is only found on real sites like bitcoin.org or elsewhere on github, and here they have to filter it.

I'm honestly not a good teacher for anyone with an interest in bitcoin, but if they want to learn about bitcoin then I'd be inclined to recommend a few sites that can help them get the right information. But I can equip them with basic knowledge about bitcoin as a first step to respond to their interest.

Now it's easier for us to find about bitcoin education, almost a lot of people have given this according to their understanding, but the most important thing is that they have to be able to see it from a trusted source, now some official media have even done guides on how to recognize bitcoin from the ground up, and that's of course very easy to find with the desired keywords in internet searches.

If in some locations you don't have the internet then it will be very difficult because Bitcoin is always connected to the internet if they want to practice it, so if someone wants to teach then the area doesn't exist it will be much more difficult because this is not education like teaching in school.

When the bitcoin was launched most of the people think, bitcoin will act as the trading tool. But only few people think bitcoin will also act as the asserts to hold your savings in term of cryptocurrency. We should teach the youngster about the bitcoin from their early age,So they learn more about the bitcoin at the young age.The people who know about the bitcoin before the 2017 will have the good amount of bitcoin in their wallet. So now most of them was rich people with luxurious life by bitcoin holding. Now the bitcoin price was in good pump compared to the 2017,So it will be good time to get profit from the bitcoin for long term holders.

Went through  the thread and I can say that OP you tried I must give you that and i believe that the newbies would have a starting knowledge about what Bitcoin is all about.

But I noticed something rather than teaching bitcoin you were selling the idea BITCOIN to new people, I understand that you stand as a bitcoin enthusiast, but their are dangers teaching newbies about bitcoin without drawing their attention to the dangers.

The dangers this can lead to is newbies aren’t aware of the dangers and the get euphoric about any bitcoin and can lead to them.
# Joining scam social media account (Facebook, twitter, YouTube)
# Ponzi schemes
# can get trapped with scammers and many more

Telling newbies about the dangers of Bitcoin should not be secondary it should be amongst the primary things you tell them about.

It's not Bitcoin that caries risks, it's the people who uses it. It's like the dogs. The dogs are not bad animals, they are mirrors of their owners in terms of social skills, behaviour, ability to obey commands, etc. Bitcoin is the same. Is a tool and people do good and great things with it but there are people also doing bad things with it. And this is what we need to tell new comers. They need to chose the right path and for that, they need to be educated towards the good paths! Of course that we need to make those points about what bad things people can do with Bitcoin! But it's on the people, not on Bitcoin!

Bitcoin is energy. Bitcoin is freedom

Many individuals have reaped profits from trading Bitcoin, which makes it an attractive lure for beginners. However, scammers also use the same bait to prey on unsuspecting victims. It is true that Bitcoin is merely a tool or medium, while it is the dishonest individuals who misuse its functions, leading to much havoc.

A warning of the dangers associated with financial activities is necessary, along with education. @BIT BENDER does not intend to accuse Bitcoin of wrongdoing. Instead, it serves as a reminder to all of us that not all individuals in the Bitcoin ecosystem are honest and fair. There are still many scammers out there seeking victims by using Bitcoin as a tool, which is seen as a lucrative bait. Why is it lucrative? Because there are still many people who are not entirely familiar with the ways of obtaining profits by involving Bitcoin.

Educating people about Bitcoin is not something you can do alone, you can do your part, and you don't need to confuse people because not everyone is ready to go into Bitcoin, it takes time so do not force or confuse anyone to invest in Bitcoin.

Before I can talk about Bitcoin to anyone, I must see your interest in making money online, or maybe if you are in the line of making money from side hustle online, I believe that these type of people will listen to me, they can easily do research on their own and know more about Bitcoin.

I agree if we wanted to learn about Bitcoin we need a proper guide.  If we are researchful enough, we can search the internet for the informations and tutorial about Bitcoin.  We can also stumble to a forum like this where the discussion is so rich that it makes a one-stop shop for all we need.  We can also raise question and at the same time provide vital information to people who are also looking for some advise and lecture.

When discussing Bitcoin with someone and they're not interested, you don't have to force the teaching on them, just let them be and when they're ready they'll come around. We have so many people that needs Bitcoin in their lifes as it'll make a big difference when they can earn an income to help with everybody needs.

I agree, why waste time to people who are not interested?  Look or wait for the people who are curious about BTC.  Spending time lecturing uninterested people will only be a waste of time because your lecture will just pass through its ear without getting or understanding anything.

Of course no one ever thought it so and i don't think even Satoshi Nakamoto did make that consideration. The limited nature of the currency and the principle that guides the laws of demand and supply ensured its valuation and hodling became the language. That's the reason why it was much easier to have people spend 10btc more in its genesis age for a pile of pizza than one would in getting a mansion.

A lot of reasoning now surrounds bitcoin and how it's spent.
When it comes to teaching, it's much easier when you have them identify you to be successful and they come to you than, you having to go to them. You shouldn't go to them!

One of the fastest ways that can help to spread Bitcoin education is by posting Bitcoin sites that lecture about Bitcoin.  Another way is by sharing information about Bitcoin learning tools and sites with our friends, relatives, and community.  We don't need to create our own social media channel to explain Bitcoin, we just need to link people who are interested in Bitcoin to the sites that explain Bitcoin.

Since there are lots of sites and channels that give information about Bitcoin, what we need is linking interested people to these channels and sites.
I have to agree with you. No need to make our own channel for bitcoin as there are a lot of articles and videos that talk about the high potentials of bitcoin and how it can work for us. As long as the sources are legit, then we don’t have to worry about it. We just need to find community of people that we think are highly interested in bitcoin, so that we can focus on them and they will also relay to other people who also want to learn about bitcoin.

Whether we help spread awareness or not, bitcoin will still shine through even if we don't touch them, it's just only that people are still not ready on how the technology works and omly certain countries are willing to accept the risks included on it. Just like how AI was only a pigment of our imagination decades ago, and now look at where we are today.
Yeah I guess you are correct but its nice for us to actually spread the awareness for the public then its OK to further teach anyone who shows interest in what you are doing, you must not force it bitcoin is optional and if only is any willing before I will volunteer to give them the basics which is involve in using this wonderful technology. I agree that some people are not to accept or even know about bitcoin but you can't generalised this term to actually every one in the society or your local community.
Spreading awareness on bitcoin is really a needed. Whether the country support its usage or not is secondary. Next thing is the value of bitcoin and the usage from common people. People are much in need of technology in the financial system. With time the money value keeps falling whereas bitcoin is not. When we explain the goodness automatically people will prefer to use atleast as an investment. Even now majority of the countries haven't announced the legal status of their country on bitcoin usage, just on personal preference people continue to use.

Indeed, I think best way for more people to be engaged in bitcoin and other crypto is for them to see its potentials, wherein spreading awareness about it is a great way for them to see this. In this time of digitalization, we should take advantage of the wide reach of everything in the internet since it could really help the integrity of the bitcoin and the overall view of the world on cryptos. We just really need to show them that it is far from what the society labeled the cryptos which are just scams but rather some kind of currency that can be used as an investment and a way to make the transaction easier, secured and reliable.

For sure conversation is better and might have a higher chance of encouraging people to someone get an interest in Bitcoin. I mean if people really want to know Bitcoin they can easily just search on the internet and they can get the generic answer of that for sure. But that doesnt really encourage people to engage on Bitcoin, so maybe sharing your experience with someone or just having a conversation about Bitcoin might have a better chance to encourage people to engage on it.

Also sharing with your family and relative might be the idea since they are the ones with who you can share your experience easily.

Everyone also has to filter and study the information they get themselves, not the other way around immediately receiving and running references to handles. The bitcoin.org and github sites are the most credible sites at the moment, but they also need to be looked at, so that the information can be applied according to the needs of the reader. It's difficult to convince people to respond positively to bitcoin, unless they have basic knowledge and previous experience with bitcoin.

Until now I have not been able to convince people around me to invest, even though they often interact and often have discussions every day, so I decided not to become a bitcoin guru for other people. When they have basic knowledge it will be easy for them to respond and receive information from us, this is the reason that keeps me from trying to convince others when they are not ready to accept bitcoin as an investment.

that's true. what's important right now is to spread awareness, not to force people to invest. right now, social medias and other platforms used to promote advertisements are already doing their jobs to spread awareness to people by introducing new exchanges, offering new products locally, and even slowly adding crypto into their locally provided e-wallets. now what we are tasked to do is to cater questions and answer them as best as possible in the most simple way without us looking like we are trying to seduce people into investing without us being so forceful. let's just wait for the moment since we are also aware that people are slowly being aware about bitcoin's existence.

Everyone must have experienced the first time they heard about bitcoin and must have asked what bitcoin is?
and usually after that always find out what bitcoin is, and usually find out online or ask friends and relatives and so on.

if you teach about btc in my opinion it is a good idea as long as you teach it wisely and explain the risks of investing in btc.

if I personally don't have the idea to teach btc because what I know now people are starting to find out a lot about btc on the internet such as YouTube, Google and so on.
