I agree to this article but I think what should be more to be improved and strengthen is security and privacy. Internet is getting vast and there will be too many risks as well on security considering it's all online of accounts and most gamblers do tend to stay there money on their accounts.

Everything has it's risk, even if you play on offline base casino, there could be security issues as well. Just like if you let your money sit in exchanges, maybe if the exchange were hack or your accounts be compromise, you will lose your money there. The discussion is about how the gambling industry has grown tremendously.

Theoretically possible, you can see for yourself everywhere everyone is happy to spend their time and money just betting in sports betting, maybe a greater percentage of football.

Don't get me wrong, that was an awful time and I wouldn't want to go back to such a period of my life but the pandemic brought about a lot of eye-opening truths to most people. With how popular gambling have become, most especially, amongst youths, I am tempted to say that the entire gambling industry is way bigger than they estimated.
And yes, majority of gamblers focus on sports betting, this is an indication showing that sports have become an integral part of our system, and for the gamblers, watching sports is not completely fun, when something is not at stake..

When the pandemic happened, this proved that most businesses can survive being online. People explored and they discovered that online gambling can bring both the fun and the convenience at the same time. Football, right! I think that is where the major number of sports gamblers are and might be the highest number of bets per day. It's a worldwide sport and I can see a lot of supporters in it. Just checking at all the threads of football in gambling discussion, they are always active in everything that will happen from roster changes and history of teams winning and losing.
