I think it's "too big", as in there are too many people who gamble that they shouldn't. When thinking about gambling we talk about things that we see here, but there are games on phones that people keep putting money into and try to gamble and end up losing at all times.
I do not think that it's going good right now, there are too many people gambling, people who do not have money as well, it's really turning into a lot worse situation and should be helped out. We need some sort of way to prevent this many people gambling because it hurts societies too badly, too many people end up not really doing a good job and they end up getting poorer and poorer because of it as well. Or we can do the liberal thing and let people do what they want.
I think the main issue here is the lack of financial education, even if you were to receive the highest level of education that your country can offer, there is almost no emphasis on financial literacy, people do not know how the economy works, they have no idea how much they pay on interests on their mortgage or their credit cards, they do not keep a budget, they have no idea of how much money they are saving on their retirement accounts and so on, if people knew how to do all of that then even if they gambled the amount will be so small that it will not be a problem for their finances.
It is very Interesting , in the country where I live I believe that the government wants that there is not so much progress nor that the people are very advanced in terms of it, this so that they have total control over the people, it is something a little Dirty on the part of the rulers , but really some do not care and accept things, so in this case the people who want to improve themselves, their only task is to read many books and learn on their own, which most of us have done, since education is in a very low level, and thus it is very difficult to have great Professionals , however, those who want to have an Education above average, there are still schools and ways to get educated by paying, which is more normal nowadays, But due to the increase in Enrollment , to have a good Place you have to look for it from one day to the next, this for children, now higher Education is now more Difficult for quality Professionals to emerge.
