Hey bro, Blockchain is the technology or the network. Whereas what you mean by ETH coins, BNB, MATIC etc. are Altcoins which of course will be more risky due to high fluctuations influenced by Bitcoin. A good investment for the long term is Bitcoin, Altcoin is an optional choice.
