I ask because there are people who steal other people's pictures and create fake profiles on social networks, all in order to promote some scam projects. Its good to rest since mental health is important and best decision to focus on school work before anything else. Although you have lost on one side, you have gained on the other side. You stopped the crypto journey because you lost a lot by investing in crypto currency but you continued your studies. The first mistake you made was not understanding what crypto is all about, in cryptocurrency, we should always learn to invest any amount we can afford to lose, don’t invest any amount that’s going to affect you after losing it, I think that was the first mistake you made, you invested huge amount of money and after losing you lost interest in cryptocurrency.

Welcome back. One of the advise is that you already know the mistakes that you have done so avoid repeating such moves because it will eventually lead you to another loses. You never do the same thing and expect different result. Therefore you have to move away from what you were doing previously and try new strategy, the previous strategy was bad and no need trying what was not profiting . I stopped my crypto journey way back last year because of so many losses and got busy with my school works,  it was last year in February when I lost a huge amount of my money investing in altcoin and got rugged, I was depressed that time and sad because I lost a huge amount of money which makes me stop my crypto journey and just focus on my study.

Two weeks ago I saw my friend on Facebook posting such luxury and cars he already has and I know that person is into cryptocurrency so I know that he got all those things because of cryptocurrency that inspires me now to continue my crypto journey and I will start it with this forum as I know I can have a lot of lessons and advice here.

It’s good that you have realized now the value of cryptocurrency and investing on it could be the best way for now to accumulate and store a lot of crypto while prices have not reached their peaks yet. So welcome back and hopefully this time, your investment will already work while learning from those mistakes and losses you have endured in the past. Crypto is always a risky investment, but you know you are always capable to lessen the risk if you start investing from your knowledge and skills developed within yourself.

Yes, knowledge and understanding of BTC and cryptos in general should be present before the act of buying.
Or at the very least alongside a DCA strategy with small amounts by the time you're sure what you're doing.

It's pretty simple, who would buy stocks of companies they don't know, without understanding of what they are doing, and with no background?
Nobody.

So why do something like this with BTC or other cryptos? It doesn't make sense no ?

I'm sorry to read that you've already lost money in the past OP, but I sincerely hope that this experience made you realize that quick gains are not automatic, and most importantly, that education and patience are essential to make profits with Bitcoin.

I wish you success in your future investments, and if I have only one piece of advice to give: take the time to educate yourself about Bitcoin before you put any money into it, understand every real risk involved in owning BTC, and be patient, don't rush. Bitcoin is not going to disappear tomorrow (at least I hope not!), and those who have studied it well, in general, come to the conclusion that rushing is not useful: you won't be able to go back in time and buy BTC at 10 usd anyway. Take your time.

You are welcome back into the crypto investment world, that is why we are telling people not to jump into Bitcoin investments without some knowledge and understanding, Bitcoin investments don't make person get rich quickly, or faster.  Bitcoin is more riskier than what people imagine, now that you have learn from your mistakes I wish you success in the investment world. Pls invest what you can afford to lose. The DCA pattern is one of the strategies that is good to apply, this is directly, is to hold for long and DCA till the next bull run. when the price of bitcoin drops,it is a good time to increase DCA buying and return to normal when the price is out of limit or start to recovery and the long term holder enjoy.

I know that feeling when you got rugged, it's really sad when you lose all your money in just one tick, I've experienced this and there's a lot of trauma you can't get, You will lose hope in crypto currency and everyone will down you. After months of searching again  and again I started to invest crypto again and it's doing well. Now, I have a business and also I can buy whatever I want in this crypto community. You can start again if you want to, always research to avoid rug and also you can't get scam. Goodluck!

Whoah, I'm sorry you had to learn it the hard way, buddy, but I'm glad you gained some insights and decided to continue your journey in the crypto world because, as far as I know, this won't stop in the near future. Crypto will be a bigger industry in the future, and I think it's a privilege to know about it this early. I think it's not wrong to just step back for awhile, learn from our and others' mistakes, and kick stronger after that. Even if crypto has a fast pace, it shouldn't always be followed without a rest, especially if it affects our mental health. For now, just take it slow, gain your knowledge gradually, and also improve your emotional and risk management. There should not be a rush. This time, enjoy the process, mate.
