What do you all think about “Bitcoin magazines”  are they cool / good collectibles and a piece of history or over priced hype? Issues 1-3 can be priced at 1500-6000 probably not selling but at least they are trying lol

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I know one of the issues has a Casascius ad in it...  so yes, would def be a part of btc collectible history.

Some of the #1 issues have definitely sold in that range

EDIT: It is issue #17 (Dec 2013)

Some of the most valuable and rare pieces, outside of the Bitcoin Mag issues:
- The Economist - Get Ready for a World Currency - 1/88
- The Times - Genesis Block - 1/09
- Bloomberg Businessweek - Bitcoin Dreams - 3/14
- Newsweek - Bitcoin's Face - 3/14

This Forum posting is a great reference:

Search around. I think there  are probably folks on these forums that still have access to hundreds of sets. I used to sell complete sets for around $200 I think. While they are hard to find at decent prices, I think that people who have lots of them would say they’re difficult to sell. Putting up a WTB post might not be a bad idea. You never know who will see it.

Mm... yeah.. probably not that easy, considering issue #1 is $2100 for retail right now... Tongue

Good luck though, I always dream of finding a pile at a garage sale where they don't know the value, but that will likely never happen either! Cheesy
