What do you mean by self-block list? But I agree with what you said that as long as the gambler can control himself while playing gambling, there is still a big chance that he will change or stop his inclination to play gambling, this is true.

I don't think that it's really possible for a gambler to live without internet. I think in this age and time no one will be able to live without an internet connection. Internet is a necessary thing for this time and restricting yourself from using it is not going to be helpful in reducing the addiction.

Well said Friend, and to correct you a little, it would have been much better if you said the addict should stay away from using a smart phone or a laptop or desktop computer.. Because with any of this devices still in possession of the  said addict, it's pretty much impossible to stay away from the internet, at least, this is something I personally believe on my own purely based on personal experience

Exactly true, when we go through of being impulsive, we often overlook what truly is important to us. We disregard the small details of our needs and fundamentals. Their needs or their long-term goals, their mind forgets those and just focuses on their impulses to gamble and bet more than the person can afford to lose. Then later on in their life when it is already late, that is when they will realize and regret it. When things got slightly worse, they thought there is no other way out but to lose everything, they're in a loop of succumbing themselves.

It is funny that you mention this as this was my first impression when I smoked my first cigarette and I drank my first beer, I thought how can people get addicted to this stuff since their taste is so awful?
