When the price of Bitcoin rises, the price of Altacoin rises, and when the price of Bitcoin falls, the price of Altacoin falls.  I always choose Bitcoin to invest. We've noticed that Bitcoin is one of the few decentralized coins that will grow over time, and with it, the altcoin market will also grow.If and cannot be invested depending on a coin.  But xrp will be a good choice for investing in other coins.  You must wait a few years to reach the price you predicted with xrp coin.XRP can never be compared to Bitcoin, bcz Bitcoin is king. But one can invest in whatever he likes.

If you will take high risk then return will must be big in cryptocurrency. Meme is absolutely risky investment so you can get 10x to 50x return but there are no guarantee it's kinda you bet in gambling. Btc is safe investment and it’s long term. If money is your so you can invest in XRP but i don’t think it will return 10x-12x in the bull run.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin and XRP is Altcoin, I think Bitcoin can't be compared to altcoins because Bitcoin is indeed the king of altcoins,
without Bitcoin then altcoins will never exist in crypto currency, but if you talk about the price of XRP at this time it might be said very good to buy,
because we know that XRP in 2021 has not performed well because of the SEC, and next year 2024 there is a possibility for XRP to reach new ATH.

Everyone will say " Bitcoin is much better than XRP" yes i'm agree and that classic answer if someone else say that, which is i will choose XRP than BTC because utilty of XRP is clear and have a great fundamentals for long term especially each people who want transfer their money to other country XRP can give solution for that all, that's why Blockchain system was created

Investing in meme coins I feel is like a gamble and the risk is too big,
better invest in top coins and it is much safer as you said,
but again everyone has their own decision.

But one can invest in whatever he likes.

And yes, because cryptocurrency doesn't require that one has to invest in one option even if it's Bitcoin, and actually it's completely up to one's freedom, and we don't think there's anything wrong with someone wanting to invest in XRP because we think it's not that bad, and bit we recommend keeping your main investment in Bitcoin, because this is much better for the future.

Bitcoin holds a dominant position in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin's prominence and first-mover advantage paved the way for the development and growth of many altcoins, including XRP. So comparing these two currencies is really not very appropriate. When it comes to XRP's price at the moment, despite being affected by the SEC, it is still on the right track, and its price is still very comfortable compared to the peak in 2018. Although in 2021 the price cannot go as scheduled, But in this new cycle, I think XRP will be a strong bullish factor in peaking ATH.

invest in bitcoin a lot better, if you wanna invest in altcoin and get massive return, which many has been talking about more than 1000% return why not invest in new altcoin since they are the one that usually get that massive investment, it just makes more sense honestly.

XRP investors are really expecting that this finally happens, because if XRP went through yet another bull market without reaching an all time high then I do not see how the coin could recover, now some may argue the coin is still part of the top 10 and it could recover at any moment, but I do not think so, not many people are talking about XRP and failing to showcase any potential for growth will only make this tendency even stronger during the next years.

Because it is your money and fully under your control, you are free to invest in any token. I understand with your assessment of the high profit potential of several of the selected Altcoins. However, keep in mind that it is a possibility, not a certainty.
If you are willing to lose money, you are free to invest in whatever altcoin you choose, including XRP, but keep in mind that XRP did not make new ATHs during the last bull season, and it did not even reach its previous highs.
Personally, I continue to prioritize Bitcoin as the primary option.

It did not reach previous all time highs last bull run because of the law suit against it but with this now looking like it will be over by the end of the year the price should shoot past all time high.
Does this means you are holding XRP even before 2021? if you happen  to believe  that the lawsuit will be over sooner then yeah it will make you instant millionaire .
maybe I will keep some of my altcoins in possession .
but try not to consider pure xrp in your folio because if that lawsuit did not succeed then xrp will maintain the prices from what it has years past .

No only started buying XRP a few weeks ago - I will not go crazy just buy a few thousand and hope it does well next bull run.

yes xrp may be more profitable in a bull run comparing to btc. But considering market cap, total supply, fdv etc xrp is too risky investment.

It is risky but it could 10-20x next bull run depending on how much hype comes into it after winning the court case.

Bitcoin is good for long term and I am planning on putting my profits from my altcoins into Bitcoin.

yes but if i would take risk, i would try to the ones with lower valuation. There are a lot of good L1 and L2 with much better fdv. But of course no body can guarantee that they will perform better than xrp in bull.

if you compare the two cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and XRP are of course very different,
because XRP is an altcoin, while Bitcoin is the cryptocurrency itself, the total supply is also very different,
Bitcoin only has 21 million coins and that's what makes the price of Bitcoin reach $ 50 k,
while XRP has a total supply of up to billions of coins and XRP only has a price in the range of $ 0.1 to $ 3,
yes it is possible that XRP can reach $ 10 or even $ 20 in the future.

No guarantee XRP can rise 10-20x in the upcoming bullrun. Instead, it may free fall if there is bad news related to the XRP case with SEC. As far as I know, the case is unresolved, so we must be careful about the bad news.

Anyway, even if there is hype on XRP, not sure whether it will rise above 10x or not. Not each coin can increase significantly every bullrun season, some coins may not increase as expected. Check again the history of previous bullrun seasons.

Bitcoin is good for long term and I am planning on putting my profits from my altcoins into Bitcoin.
Sure, BTC is always the main option for long-term holding.
BTC is the mother of crypto coins, so we can trust this coin more than others.
The pattern of BTC price move is also more predictable than altcoins, it always increases significantly every 4 years. It is because BTC has its halving, it triggers the price to skyrocket.

the two are clearly very different, Bitcoin has a total supply of only 21 million, while XRP is 99 billion,
from this comparison alone it is very striking, that's why the prices of Bitcoin and XRP are very different,
but when talking about XRP I think the development of XRP is much better,
because indeed Bitcoin was not created to be developed, but created to be adopted.

I have neither of the above but am leaning towards XRP.

I believe Bitcoin will reach $100k next bull run but that is less than a 4X from current price.

I have been researching more into XRP lately and have read price predictions ranging from $5 to $100 next bull run.

I dont believe XRP will reach $100 or even $50 next bull run but feel like it could reach $5 which sounds conservative compared to all the predictions I have heard but is still a 12X from current price.

I am leaning more towards XRP purely for the better possible returns. I do believe Bitcoin is here to stay but less than a 4X from current price doesn’t appeal to me.

This is my first bull run coming up and I want to put a lot of the profits I make into Bitcoin in the 2026/27 bear market to then possibly cash out in the 2028/29 bull run when Bitcoin should at least be around $200k.

Thoughts on this? Anyone more into XRP or is everyone here pro Bitcoin?

Usd value pricing alts us pointless.  It all runs off bitcoin price.  Meaning if bitcoin goes up 10x but ripple only goes up 5x would you consider this a success?  To really get the co.paruson you need to just look at the bitcoin price increase or decrease and compare your coins price xrp or whatever.  Anything other than that you are doing yourself an injustice.

Bitcoin won't always be number 1 on CMC, so measuring against it is pointless. People need to cash out to fiat to pay bills and buy things. In fact, one could argue that soon, it is likely that everything in the world will be measured against XRP because it will be used by Swift and governments for CBDCs.
