I'd go with spot as futures with leverage can be devastating for beginners, I have friends who earned huge and lost it all as well in future's with leverage.

Good decision, the spot market is always better than any other that involves more risk. We have major issues among users in this context. I do agree on this one on which it is really that true or something that could really happen on which despite on being a noob or completely having no knowledge on trading could eventually be able to make out some money

Since we all know how risky future trading is, especially for newbies that don’t really understand it, newbies do join future trading because of the high reward that’s being offered, but it’s really risky, you can easily lose everything you deposit within a very short period of time. Lots of people don’t understand how future trading operates, and they will end up using high leverage just because they want a very high profile, but if you use high leverage in future trading, then you can easily lose money.
 
But when trading spot, you can also lose money, but it’s not as risky as future trading. If you buy a coin and you notice that it's dumped, you can just hold the coin for it to bounce back, but when you are in future trading, you can hit a liquidation price and you will lose all your money.

I must say experience is just a plus because along the way you can learn it, but by gauging the trading, it is really good to start with spot just to feel how trading works and not be shocked at how the futures also work. Though it doesn't mean that you have years of experience in spot, it would be the same in futures like you have winning traders. You still learn that time as it is different from spot. That is why if you plan on doing futures, just get the grasp of spot first and then focus more on futures.

Yes future trading is like gambling because you're betting against another trader on the future movement of a particular project or set of projects but spot trading, you're investing in a project and you can hold the cryptocurency that you purchased from the market. Future trading are just contract and you don't physically own the coins you're predicting the future price. Not recommended for beginner start trading in future, there are many aspect why future trading not allowed due can't right researching with some coins price and future trading bigger risk with losing capital. Spot trading still exist with capital although price have going dump and have second chance waiting for price recovering back. Its not allowed not try with future trading but after understand about trading and risk with future can use small capital to try how progress with future trading.

Spot trading is place for us to learn about trading and know more which one potential coins in the future, when understanding well with coins price and moment lower or higher price some coins that chance for us to begin with future trading although not really recommended because not guarantee from liquidation.
