Well, that's just how most of the people are. Choosing to only believe what they want to believe. Emotional biases are really dangerous when investing. Even with the basic knowledge about trading and investing, if a person is not well in control of their emotions, they are bound to make wrong decisions one way or another. Well, there's just nothing you can do about your friends right now since only experiencing some losses would make them learn better about self-control or the need for knowledge (in case they still don't know at least the basic about trading and investing in this industry yet) to make profits rather than losses on any market condition.

Wrong prediction is not the end of everything, maybe we made the wrong prediction because after we bought the price dropped, but we don't make the second mistake, namely selling at a cheap price because it will make us lose money, it's better to be patient and do other activities such as looking for alternative businesses while waiting bitcoin price improving.

There are several factors that in my opinion will hold Bitcoin back, firstly the economic conditions that are still unstable, investor confidence in the crypto market, and the halving that hasn't happened yet. I think the highest Bitcoin will reach $ 35K USD this year with a support point at $ 26K USD. We are still in a sideway period and this will continue for the next few months.

If technical analysis can help us predict the price of bitcoin, then why do we constantly fail to predict the movements of bitcoin? Even the bitcoin bull run earlier this year was almost unpredictable, I daresay no one could have predicted it.

Doesn't technical analysis also involve reading charts which is exactly what is done if one is looking at the historical records? They are basically connected with each other, and if historical charts indicate that the price will go up from here and touch $40k before it starts correcting itself again, I'm sure a technical analyzer would say the same thing.

However, I don't agree with that. If the price goes that high from here, it is not going to get any correction from there, even if it does, it wouldn't be higher than a $2k or hardly $3k drop from that point since the market will enter the bull run if that happens.

Speaking about percentage drops then it wont really be that something to be fix which means it would really be totally random but basing up on what we are seeing on day to day basis then 1 digit % drops or increase

is really just something that be called as a normal day here on crypto space. Predictions could neither be right or wrong basing up on the outcome or on what the market would really be showing or where it would be heading. We know that we could really be having that different approach when it comes to analysis whether we would be sticking on technical stuffs or we would really be going on the fundamental side.
Predictions arent called predictions if it was 100% sure and this is why it would be not shocking if ever it would fail.

Thing here is that you should really always have that back up plan because things turns out to be unpredictable along the way, so it is really just that right on having this kind of approach.

Expectations of bitcoin's price increase this year are making it as difficult for bitcoin as it is for us.  if we still believe in history, believe in 4-year cycles, then this year is too early to think of a bull season.  second, as you also mentioned: the market is also a part of the world economy, and it depends on the movement of the economy, so bitcoin will never have a movement against the economy. I think 35k-40k is a good price at the end of the year to prepare for the halving.

Another day and its still not falling, it has fallen back but BTC and every price chart when look at will occasionally do that.  We get positive action, there is some sell and it pulls back and so it continues quite normally in this way; its not yet significant.  We're looking for something new and its yet to occur, all these prices since March 19th its still just moved about a bit up and down and back again but nothing new.
    Holding this higher area of BTC price compared to the first prices of the year has still put us in a positive area, it cant be viewed as acting negatively while doing nothing much at all.  Maybe next week or tomorrow we do move down but I dont like to jump the gun and presume the worst when theres no particular advantage in doing so.

It's normally fluctuated in a different way, it's either in a bullish trend or in a bearish one which everyone didn't like it.
Yeah, it's unpredictable and no one will know where the Bitcoin price is headed at.  Because IMO, the price was influenced by a wide range of factors including market demand, investor sentiment, regulatory developments, technological advancements, macroeconomic conditions, and geopolitical events.  So there's no way to predict it.

That's why I prefer to hold for a long period of time, just like waiting for a new ATH right after the next halving which I think if you want to accumulate, start it right no before it's too late.

At the start of 2023, bitcoin was recovering from a hard fall that had a general atmosphere which was a bearish market, but after the dust settled and fear mongering was at its lowest crypto believers and enthusiasts jumped on board to start buying the discounted coins and price has been fighting its way back to the top and considering we are approaching  mid year...I think bitcoin has performed  very well despite mixed reactions of regulations here and there and from this its safe to say we are on the right track  to hit 40k as this can happen all in one jump as price is close to this.

We have a long way to go before  this year is done, and I think we have one or two news events that can trigger the bull run as markets seem to be in limp mode at the moment  and we should land the 40k to 50k.

I think that is the most dangerous thing in crypto investment ever. We should not be considering what we are doing as the right thing, or just because we believe in something doesn't mean that we are right and we could turn out to be wrong. So, we should be preparing to be wrong at all times, not enough people do that and that's a huge risk. I know that it is not going to change much, but we should be focusing on what would happen if the price doesn't go to where we expect it to go.

If you are ready for that, then it will not be able to hurt your finances because you will be ready about it as well. Crypto is volatile, it may go up, it may go down, both of them are equally possible and you should be ready for both of them equally as well.

Sometimes, I also follow BTC news either in forums or when light talk with my seniors at work. He suggested saving first if you have more funds, if you want to invest, indeed BTC now has the upper hand if I'm not mistaken the price was still $ 65,000 at that time but not long after 2 months what he predicted BTC continued to drop drastically and has been proven until now. but he also gave an illustration that after this decline, it is possible that BTC will reach a new ATH again and that the frequently discussed target of $100K may be touched, provided that it takes a long time to get there.

yes that's right, reading market trends is a bit easier than having to predict bitcoin prices accurately. when I want to get daily income I often do this (day trader by reading market trend), but not infrequently I get caught in a bull trap or bear trap because I buy too fast and buy too late. so in my opinion the easiest and also has no risk is to buy and hold in the long term until you reach a new ATH.

day trading requires high skills to read market movements or it is called technical analysis,
and most day trading is done in futures trading and of course the risks are very large,
I have tried day trading in futures and the results were really disappointing,
