I still have a pile of old gpu's left, and it pains me to see them just lying there.

You can use calculators like Whattomine to check what is the most profitable coin. It al depends on your hardware what you can do best and if it's profitable or not.

Mining is not profitable at all since ETH moved to PoS on 15 September 2022 and since then mining is not the same again.You should turn those GPU-s on only if you are in for the long term,to make some coins,since you asking about Ethash ETC is the main one with the most hash rate that is being mined but there are a couple of other variance coins like EthereumPow and EthereumFair which claim to be able to substitute the original Ethereum a promise far from being realized in near a year now.So only if you want to mine such coins and convert them to Bitcoin,hold to it for the next bull run only then power on those GPU-s,otherwise it is not worthy at all to mine now.

For calculators there are lots of them but as pointed out whattomine is the majority preference.

What graphics cards do you have, Rx 470 and Rx 480 or even older? Unfortunately, now on such video cards and others that are older than 6 years, it is very difficult to find coins for mining with a profit. Profit a few cents a day, I think you are not interested. I sold my old video cards, and I'll look at the prices and reviews of the RTX 4060.

No one knows that.i i knew i would be millionare  mostly all coins goes up if bullrun comes again no matter what coin you mine.

Most likely the coins in the top 100 ranking in Coinmarketcap website,you can't go wrong with any of them but just to be sure you can narrow down to top 10 to top 30 and you will win quite a lot of money if you start mining right away.In this scenario we don't care that you are mining at a loss as you are in for the next bull run so you can turn on those GPU-s no matter if they are well over 5 years old,in the end this type of experiment I am confident will pay off much better so as long as you have money to pay for electricity even from your own pocket like I did in 2018,you will get rewarded.I did the same in 2018 and in 2021,February Bitcoin at 60.000 I was a happy man.

The experts won't tell you because they don't know what kind of equipment you have and the cost of your electricity. And I will not do this either, because in some cases it is more profitable to buy coins and not mine them. I have chosen a few coins for myself, but my risks are only paying for electricity from mining profits.

That is what I did and there is a good reason behind it,the user can buy the coins but it will be a set and forget action,most likely users who buy coins are not that careful or do not pay attention every day to the market and risk to lose the bull run as they risk becoming lazy.That is why I preferred mining in 2018 rather than buy the coins,as I had to check every day on my mining machine,if everything was OK or not and so I was engaging every day with cryptocurrencies while if I had bought the coins I would have not engaged every day with them and by not engaging every day with something you love,your love for that starts diminishing.

Mining makes more sense if the coin or new possible gem is not yet on the market and if it later gets listed and price shoots up or if the mining gear is somewhat efficient. But imagine someone mining a regular coin using old-not-so-efficient GPUs that are almost obsolete. They are in most cases going to do it at a loss in a bear markets which is why if someone just bought the coins using the money, they would be better off.

But anyways mining makes someone more involved.

I had two rather old GPUs and I was mining Ethereum, the profits weren't very good but they were acceptable but after Ethereum moved I sold them and got rid of them.

Probably this project is run by one person and having fun. I will look at this coin for a bit, 432,000,000 coins per day and only one exchange to trade. Halving every month, and the project may not live up to 1 halving. At the current price alone, more than $40,000 is needed per day so that the price of the coin does not fall if only half of the miners are sold.

This coin is only mineable through GPU-s though with Wildrig Multi miner and it makes a big difference in hash rate when you mine this with GPU rather than CPU-s.A 8 GPU rig can net you almost 600-700 coins daily.

I don't know if it works well or better than SRBMiner but for me Wildrig Multi works with really low temperature of the GPU-s and not only in Raptoreum,it is a very stable miner in Raptoreum which never crashes and that is why I love Raptoreum.Nevertheless I have put only my work PC-s which I have permission to do whatever I like with them as long as I get the job done and so my home GPU-rig is running Ethereum Classic+Zilliqa,and then Staking Zilliqa to make some extra money.

They have it both but Raptoreum devs have promised us Python or other well known programming language during this year there in the network which should skyrocket the price and that is why I keep my work PC-s mining Raptoreum,I hope in some massive upgrade of this coin which I just made 10.000 coins in my wallet today.
