Two hours ago Bitcoin artist 'RYR' posted on Twitter that one of his artworks (DESERTED EAGLE  1/21) has been stolen while on display at Bitcoin 2023: https://twitter.com/ryrartist/status/1659470270988537856

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Wow thats so messed up. I would say it's unbelievable but it is Miami. Anyone that doesn't know. Miami is a horribly crime ridden city. Always use extra precautions when there. I feel so horrible for RYR. Hopefully this pos is caught. I will definitely be keeping a eye out while I'm there. But I am willing to bet that thing is long gone. Hopefully our community is small enough that they won't be able to sell it. Not much worse than a thief.

I really wonder what the f was going on in their heads when stealing such a unique piece.
Is there really an underground market for this? I doubt it. Just hope this item somehow finds its way back to RYR.
