I have not received any money from airdrops in this year. You can see many fake airdrop in social media section which is more fake. A good project never distribution free token many time but some project giving free money by promoting airdrop. I think airdrop help promoting for a project marketing.

Take a look at the screenshot published below and you will understand that it is not enough to connect social network accounts including Github to get the mint Guild Pin opportunity. It is possible that the "Some secret requirements" that the developers write about may be the age of the Twitter account or the date of joining Discord or something else that I do not know about.

Well in that case I might be wrong. But its a good thing then, to know that they entirely put that secret minting eligibility to work. Though even before they announced it Ive already minted the pin. Cause Im fond of minting guild pins. But like in the image Ive also connected those social and accounts of mine.

it was always like this with airdrop in general, there are massive airdrops which piqued the interest of many to follow other airdrop programs then most of airdrop ended up rather shitty.
but I guess that also because airdrop participants increase significantly.

I have long detach myself from airdrops due to most of them are worthless.  Aside from that some airdrop injects malware to the participant in order to sweep the token that is saved on the metamask.  Due to that, I missed many "gem" airdrops but I do no regret it since I'd rather have my unit system security intact than try to risk the security just to get these airdrops.

only very few select coins airdrops are worthy to follow the rest aren't really that interesting, since most of them are just using the airdrops as a mean to advertise their project through some tasks but there are also some devs that use underhanded methods taking advantage of airdrops hunters and then suddenly change their airdrop rules which I think is a massive redflag that someone shouldn't invest in these project.
the problem with airdrops nowadays as you already stated that so many of them actually made by some scammers in scamming people into buying their coins.
most of the airdrop nowadays are near to worthless, that until the good project like zksync and layerzero which are rumoured to gonna have airdrop will eventually release their tokens.

A security breach is usually what we think about when joining airdrops because many had been a victim of such a trick. Now, airdrop participants are much more careful in dealing with them and most of us rejected them without any evaluation if that is legit or not. And that makes some hunters enjoy Arbitrum 1500 tokens and Sui Network airdrops. However, just like your insights about airdrops, which no longer attracts me and got the courage to join and hunt airdrops, they're still useless after all.

well, SUI and ARB are "gems" in airdrops. however, to find "gems" in airdrops it seems like we need to follow almost all existing airdrop jobs. right now, there's a lot of airdrops from testnet, but i think it's too much to try one by one and it might be time consuming. Personally, I also have other jobs in the real world, so it's really hard to focus on airdrops. because of this, until now, I also haven't received anything from the airdrop. In fact, it's been a long time since I've felt the gift of a truly profitable airdrop.

Lmao got ACS from coingecko a while back like 1500 tokens which amount to nothing but it led me to get another airdrop from bybit from their "marketing program that incentive people to do trading on their spot trading ACS/USDT etc" and all of that got me like total 150 $ I think..

airdrop always have tough phase where the rewards was some measly amount after some massive ones.
right now we are in that phase, so many airdrop appearing but actually only very few can be worth something, many of them usually just waste of times.

I'm still indecisive about this. I've been following the recent airdrops, as I can see, they really make the conditions more difficult. I respect the friends who work for the airdrop, but as I said, they really make the conditions more difficult every day, and as a result, it is not possible for you to get a definite reward. However, people continue to do arb and sui, as in the title, really well done to some hunters. These projects were really GEM, I guess there weren't many projects that shared airdrops like this in the past year.

you remember that well! I managed to earn a little less than 200 dollars and it was one of the easiest drops in recent times. And what is most interesting, these tokens continue to make a profit today, although not much, and in May there will be an opportunity to withdraw all the tokens and sell them again.

retroactive are the way even then it requires extensive will of testing out their blockchain and even the qualification isn't defined yet.
which mean they could just simply change the rules at the last seconds, in which I think seems really unclear in regards of the airdrops.
but then again nowadays, airdrop are being made unclear like that for the purpose of not getting spammed to oblivion.

Yes, perilous beasts lurk, but also hidden treasures. We need apt skills (knowledge) to discern. You mention Zksync and LayerZero, which show promise. However, value isnt purely monetary. Airdrops can offer learning avenues, community engagement, or early bird access to groundbreaking tech. Lets balance skepticism with open-mindedness.

If you dismiss this you cannot get a chance to earn and you will just missed out those potential project which can potentially give us decent profit. I understand why people are so skeptical about airdrops but they should consider to participate on any free available around since there will be a project that can reward their efforts made. Also we should assure.that we didn't step on project that ask a funds since that cannot give us anything and they just want to scam anybody that want to participate on their project.
