I don't know about it, but like many other memecoins in the market I would advise anyone new to this market to stay away from these. It's not much different from multi-level, or like a game of chance and out there you can find a lot of similar things, and knowing the crypto market don't let this hold you back. Slow down your investment mindset. As many mentions of using greed to bring about so-called trends, curiosity and the crowd effect blind many people into really bullshit, get-rich-quick stories. From a few cases that made me laugh because it's entirely possible and if the chances will be the same for everyone, let's just look at the lottery as an example.

moreover the names are the same, Pepa, Pepe, Pepeinu, Pepainu etc.,
I searched coinmarketcap about PEPA and it's true that Pepa Inu is just a memecoin without any significant fundamentals.
so think if you want to buy Pepa only for long-term hold.

While I agree with you, nowadays there seems to be a market for meme coins (some with more original names than other) and always people will invest in it as they think it will moon. You can make a profit out of it, if you invest in the very early stages and also know at what moment to sell. For me, it is too risky, but everybody wants to make profit.

Yeah maybe if this was a different name, I would have hope but all of these projects which are named similar to Pepe like PEPE2 or PEPERONI or PEPA it’s obvious they want to pump because it shares a similar name. Basically a clone.

I would not be surprised if it was a rug token. Many are. Go to dextools and dex screener and you will be surprised how many tokens launch and then the Dev dumps all the coins.

Agree, one more thing is meme coins make crypto looks very bad because most people who doesn't know about crypto thinking crypto just about PUMP and DUMP. So in my opinion this hype of meme coins just make crypto looks bad for those people who doesn't understand about this crypto world.

Memecoin, as we all know, has no utility, therefore its market value would only depend to demand. On the other hand, demand is based on the majority so if you are eyeing for such coin then you should guess or wait until huge investors support the demand in order to create a price increase. In this industry in general, price movements are uncertain. So think of how big the risk is if you are into such token concept. Just check the first ones to be released in this maarket and you guys will already kniw the anwer whether it is a good or bad investment. Unless you would ride the trend, investing into it won't be profitable especially for long term holding.

There are many tokens to choose from. Every coin will have its risk present from doing so. Your task as an investor is to minimize the risk of losing money therefore you have to select what would be best and not to just limit oneself to a single 'bucket'.
