I want to move my Bitcoin from my trustwallet to another hot wallet that is compatible with IOS

Read here of some things a good wallet should posses but not in trustwallet.

The platform supports Electrum but I saw it wasn't compatible with IOS.

Quote
Just when I thought ledger can't get any worse... they release this ''revolutionary'' stupid idea  Roll Eyes
seeing this prevented me from diving into ledger.

Am in need of a wallet for IOS that supports RBF, multiple address generation among others.

Yes IOS doesn’t supports electrum on mobile currently. But from the thread link you posted there is another thread again by Charles-Tim that suggest other non-custodial wallets. Read through this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422456.msg61326135#msg61326135

From the link you have blue wallet which is available for IOS and it supports RBF, also an open source wallet and can be use to create multiple bitcoin addresses among many other features. With blue wallet you can just import your trust wallet seeds or keys and enjoy this features, or better still create new address since trust wallet is not open source

BlueWallet, maybe? It's the one I'm using.

https://bluewallet.io/features

It has everything you mentioned and more:

Quote
BlueWallet is built on a public repo, up-to-date and available on the BlueWallet GitHub.

Quote
Ability to Bump and Cancel sent transactions with "Replace-by-fee" (RBF) or with "Child-pays-for-parent" (CPFP).

Quote
The Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) key creation and transfer protocol (BIP32), allows creating child keys from parent keys in a hierarchy. The HD Wallets will generate for you a different address for each transactions.

etc...

you can try some wallets here https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet?step=5&platform=ios

iOS Wallets

  • Bither
  • BitPay
  • Edge
  • Unstoppable
you can try Edge or Unstoppable wallet
Both are good and you can search for the rest of the wallets on the Internet, as they provide the basic features that you are looking for.
BlueWallet is another excellent option but I'm not sure if they still support Lightning Network.

There are not many non-custodial Bitcoin wallet apps for iOS,
Some that I installed on my iPhone: BlueWallet, and Unstoppable. But, as far as I know, only BlueWallet has the RBF feature, one of the criteria for your wallet of choice.

  • BitPay

A little note, some users from certain countries are not supported by Bitpay wallet (https://support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000123366-Why-can-t-I-use-BitPay-s-services- in-my-country-).

BlueWallet can still be used as a lightning wallet, but if you want to generate a new one, you can no longer use its default LNDHub.

AFAIK, this articles talk about business service which BitPay act as a payment gateway, It is a service dedicated to stores that want to make payments through them, not the wallet. The wallet is open source, and you can find the code here https://github.com/bitpay/wallet I don't think they can restrict access according to a specific country.

I didn't even find a BitPay wallet application in the AppStore registered for Indonesia. There is only the BitPay Checkout application;
As an example, you can also see a comparison of the availability of the application in the app store between users in the US and Indonesia here:

- https://apps.apple.com/id/developer/bitpay-inc/id912236531

I don't understand how to build the BitPay Wallet App using the source code manually.

With blue wallet you can just import your trust wallet seeds or keys and enjoy this features, or better still create new address since trust wallet is not open source.
I can also recommend Blue Wallet. I don't use an iOS device, but if it's as good on iOS phones as the wallet is on Android devices, go for it. I consider it as a go-to mobile wallet that is a step ahead of Electrum anyways.

But I wouldn't recommend importing the Trust Wallet seed. Instead, sweep your bitcoins from Trust Wallet, and don't go back to it. Another reason is that Trust wallet is a multicurrency wallet, while Blue Wallet is bitcoin-only. If OP owns altcoins, he won't be able to use those on the Blue Wallet.

BlueWallet is another excellent option but I'm not sure if they still support Lightning Network.
Blue Wallet only suspended its custodial Lightning Network service. You can still use the wallet in a non-custodial capacity.

Definitely BlueWallet as recommended by TryNinja. If you want to take it a step further though and use Lightning, then go for Phoenix Wallet by Acinq. Probably still the Lightning wallet with the best UX as far as I know.

BlueWallet is probably the most recommended option for on-chain wallet. It lets you connect to your own Electrum server, it lets you create a transaction without broadcasting it, lets you set a customized fee (the obvious one, lol), and it has pretty decent GUI.

Another reason is that Trust wallet is a multicurrency wallet, while Blue Wallet is bitcoin-only. If OP owns altcoins, he won't be able to use those on the Blue Wallet.
Another reason is security. Trust wallet isn't open source, whereas BlueWallet is. You should absolutely avoid the former.

I want to move my Bitcoin from my trustwallet to another hot wallet that is compatible with IOS
If you are making a transition from Trust wallet than I would suggest checking out Unstoppable wallet, if you want to have support for Bitcoin and other altcoins.
Unstoppable is open source wallet, it is working fine and it's very easy to use compared to some other wallets, and it has built in privacy features like Tor.

In case you want to use wallet for Bitcoin only than you can consider Blue wallet or Green wallet from Blockstream.
Green wallet also supports Liquid sidechain, so there is optional support for L-BTC, L-USDt and few other liquid tokens, and they have confidential transactions.
Don't use any of this mobile wallet for storing large amount of Bitcoin, use it only for pocket money.

Use Blue Wallet to store the Bitcoins you want to transfer from the Trust Wallet because Blue Wallet is focused on iOS.
If you are moving some other coins from the Trust Wallet, use the Unstoppable Wallet.
You can use Edge and Bither too.

I want to move my Bitcoin from my trustwallet to another hot wallet that is compatible with IOS
Trust Wallet has many drawbacks that have been experienced by users as they have been complained about in forums apart from being closed source.

Trustwallet is a close source wallet, one of the main reasons it should not be used. But it is far more than that. Even if Trustwallet is open source, it is still one of the bitcoin wallets that is still not recommended. It support nothing more than being able to customize fee and also send and receive bitcoin and nothing else. It is not supporting RBF which is very important too. It does not support CPFP. Not supporting coin control and many other features.

Another wallet which I would have recommended but will not because it is supporting cloud backup is Nunchuk. It is supporting Android and iOS. Having beta version for Linux, Windows amen macOS. The wallet would have been a good wallet if not the support for cloud backup which is not recommended at all. Keys should remain to individuals locally which is the safest, not the rubbish encrypted online backups.

I can also recommend Bluewallet.

Apart from all you have mentioned, Trust wallets' security is not as trusted as other wallets because they support altcoins, and I think hackers will find it very easy to hack because, once someone can access your Android phone pin, they can as well unluck your trust wallet and have access to your coin if external security is not applicable to the wallet.
Moreover, I think they have only one BTC receiving address, unlike other wallets that have up to 20 receiving addresses for security reasons.

I have heard that before, and it's a very unorthodox way to work with bitcoin. If I remembered it correctly, when you create a bitcoin wallet, you only get that one receiving address. However, you can create other bitcoin wallets. I think the max is 10. You would get a new BTC address for each one, obviously. Again, this is a very weird way of handling it. It's OK for account-based cryptocurrencies like ethereum and tron, but it isn't recommended for bitcoin.

It is true that Trustwallet only generate only one address, which is not good for privacy reasons. But I have just tried to create many wallets on Trustwallet just now, I created 12 different wallets successful and it will create more. But that is not the point just like you meant too, a wallet that do not have a means to generate another address for another transaction should not be used.

My favorite is definitely BlueWallet, as it was already recommended. It’s not only that it is non custodial, it has also a very active development team that is actively introducing new modern features like NFC support.
What is also great is that it supports widget for the Home Screen and has a very good overall design.

Trust Wallet is not good, as it uses a special private key that can not be used with other wallets as far as I know.

Trustwallet seed phrase is BIP39 seed phrase.

I am not recommending Trustwallet becusee it is one of the worst bitcoin wallets that I have used and it is close source.

To be honest, I still use this Trustwallet but for a hot wallet.
The thing that I liked most is this wallet compatible with several blockchains that could easily navigate your coins to another exchange.
But of course, if your purpose storing in the long term, I'll not recommend this wallet either.  Disregard the security while it is easy to use in a convenient way as a hot wallet, not your cold wallet.  It's better than using a web wallet like MyEtherWallet.

Exodus wallet would be preferable for me in IOS phones.

This is about bitcoin wallet, not altcoins wallet. Even for online bitcoin wallets, Trustwallet is not recommended at all.

For Linux and Windows, Electrum is recommended most. Also for Android but just that it has no control and fee customization.

For Android, iOS and macOS, Bluewallet is recommended.

Exodus wallet would be preferable for me in IOS phones.
It is a close source wallet just like Trustwallet.
