I, at the moment, am considering options for buying shares in high-tech companies. And both existing and new startups. Whether we like it or not, the world has entered a new phase of development, where technology is becoming one of the main areas of development. It is also worth paying attention to the agricultural sector and medicine. But I will not give specific names, here is an area for our own research, risk assessment and prospects. And again - you should not invest everything in "one basket" - only asset diversification!

Medicine and tech are where the big bucks are according to all the venture capitalists. Listening to their analysis, they'll dedicate a chunk of their portfolio into industries that pose high growth potential or are resistant to recession. Tech poses high growth, and medicine in particular has government subsidy backing so they're a bit more resilient to economic turmoil. I've seen VC's dump their money into Silicon Valley startups which torch money for years before they are profitable, if they ever reach that point. Others have the sole interest of being bought out by larger companies.

Even picking out a few companies to invest in highly profitable industries is a bit of a gamble -- tech companies flop every day unfortunately. To your point -- diversify!

Are you planning to buy shares while the price of Bitcoin is falling so low? People wait for that time when the price of bitcoin will drop down and they will buy bitcoin at that time but why are you planning to buy shares of any company at this time. You might say that buying shares is less risky than buying bitcoins, but investing in bitcoins at this time is not as risky because the price of bitcoins has gone from high to low and the market is expected to go higher soon. I think it would be a good decision for you to invest in Bitcoin right now.

Depends on the company but this is certainly not the place for it without a doubt. I still highly suggest Coinbase, it was highly valued and shouldn't have been, that's true without a doubt but I still support it. Aside from that, I would only suggest big names, Apple, Netflix, Google (alphabet), Walt Disney, amazon, tesla, meta, coca cola, Microsoft, McDonalds, all of these are great.

Berkshire is also high on the list and definitely looks like it's stronger, but to me it looks like it may crash very hard when Warren passes away, and not like he is a young person, hell he is not an old person neither, dude is 93 years old, it's a miracle he is still alive with the diet he has as well. So I try to stay away from that for now, maybe I will consider adding it after he passes away and the stock crashes, get it at the bottom you know.

Buy those stocks who have been here for long/have a flourishing business, in our local country market we buy them for long term and accumulate dividends across the way. My knowledge about US-based stocks is poor so I dont focus on them at all but keep it limited to my own country. I have been getting dividends enough to cover up a part of our monthly bills and that is indeed a saving. I could also bulk sell whenever I wish but that is not my objective.

Every month a part of your salary should be allocated to savings, assets, spendings and surplus. This comes up the assets part and should be flexible to accommodate stocks, bonds, bitcoin etc, in my opinion.

It depends on each investor's taste and vision, bitcoin is not the only investment we have, just because you like to invest in bitcoin doesn't mean others are like you. And not only does investing in bitcoin bring great returns, but other investments do not. I have a friend who has invested in stocks and forex for many years, and he is not even interested in bitcoin. And one more thing, even if I hold a few bitcoins, it's nothing compared to his profits in the other two markets. Moreover, more than likely, OP is already invested in bitcoin, and he needs to diversify his portfolio, it would be foolish to put all his heart into bitcoin without diversifying.

Now the economic sector has sunk, and is it worth buying shares, if so, in which area? I am considering buying shares of any Internet publications and large companies, is there a demand for them and will there be an increase in shares?

Our local stock market is going full Turkish investors. Foreigners ran away before the election. Now the new government will run by same party, there is concern that the same economic model could be applied. The new Minister of Economy thinks a little differently, but we are not sure if he will have his say. If there is a difference in the interest rate policy and the economy becomes more normal, it's possible that the Turkish stock market will rise. You know how profitable the stock markets of developing countries are at such times. But the new government must first give this confidence to foreign investors. Otherwise, stock market will continue to be very risky even in the most popular stocks.

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy. If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.

What some people do not know is that stocks too are highly volatile too.

Bitcoin and Stock may both have volatility, but in terms of its level I guess Bitcoin is much higher than Stock. Maybe I guess in stock I could say its in medium position level. In short, stocks are not volatile as Bitcoin. Because, we all know that volatility most of the time is good for the investors who are willing for the long-term investment.

And that's why Bitcoin is very suitable for this situation for the long-term. That is why If I am going to choose between mutual fund and bitcoin, I would rather pick Bitcoin to hold it for 10 years.

BIG WINNER!

When the price of bitcoin is low like this, you are thinking of the stocks to buy.
there is no wrong that the original poster want to buy stocks as investment rather than bitcoin. He may want to avoid higher risk of volatility bitcoin's price although we all know that stock is also volatile.

If you can buy bitcoin and leave it for a year or two and not sell it, this is one of the best time to buy.
no one can guarantee that if you would sell it after two years you will get huge profit and proof your statement that this time is best time to buy.

There are lots of books out there on the topic of investing in the stock market, you really have to get out there and start reading them yourself to make sense of it all. In the short term you likely want to look for the lowest cost broker of index funds, which are effectively large baskets of stocks which will help to diversify the risk away. Buying shares in individual companies when you don't know the basics is a recipe for losing all your money. Learn first and act later. If you are a person that follows whatever the "hot" trend is at the moment, you are probably far out of the loop and get into the stock just as the real pros are stepping back out of it to take a profit.

@OP am very sure you are fully aware of btc and its huge potential otherwise you won't be in bitcointalk forum to ask which stock to buy. So i will assume you already owned some btc and you are looking to diversify, if this is the case you should rather consider doing extensive research on that and also joining any related forum for better understanding on stock investment. i doubt you will get the advice you are looking for here since this is a crypto zone and everyone here are crypto enthusiast.

Apple's about to go ham this coming WWDC, releasing new variants of their devices and a supposed "new technology" to be included in their roster. I think they'd be a good addition to every one's portfolio, or at least something that you could stock more on if you have these already. In any case, usually the top 5 performing stocks are the best ones to buy so keep a close eye on those assets.
He's literally just asking for stocks to buy, he most likely knows the ins and outs of the industry already and are just asking for outside opinion. I don't see what's so wrong bout you guys who always comment shitty replies like these like jesus christ, of course he already knows about crypto otherwise he won't be here. Least you could do is actually give him ideas.

you can try the real estate industry or even gold mining, I think these two industries in stocks are the best, although there are many industry stocks that are no less interesting, such as movies and also banking. But if your goal is long term stocks that are designated for big long term gains gold mine stocks and real estate are the best for you.

I will advice you to use that money to buy BTC in this season, so that when the price of BTC increase higher soon then you can sell to know how good BTC investment is to those that invested in BTC with confidence. Investing in Shares will not give you the amount of money BTC will give to you when you endure for long for the price to pump higher in a way you will smile with your profits. Since pandemic Shaked many shares investors, it hard for people to invest money on shares because they are afraid of loss so that it will not reduce them to nothing in the environment than to invest the money on a stable coins that will bring good reward at the end.

You buy bitcoins without buying shares of a company. When you buy shares of a company you can get into an odd position. So here I am asking you to look at the chart of bitcoin for the last few years. If you think you got something from the chart then you have it. You can buy and keep.

Yes, it's true that OP should be able to choose wisely, especially since he's already in this forum. For me, investing in Bitcoin or crypto is better than stocks. This is just my opinion after I've invested in stocks.

I believe what you said about stocks is ideally a stock. but my view is that sometimes the stock price depends on the dealer, big cap issuers will lose their gains with new issuers. I have thoroughly analyzed the fundamentals, entered at the right time, but if the dealer doesn't increase it doesn't go up either and small, unclear stocks just keep going up.

because of that i studied crypto and after delving deeper i found out how amazing crypto is. for crypto maybe you have researched defi, nft which is hype in crypto. What I learned is that crypto is very risky, but each coin has a project and a supportive community. if the project is good then the price will fly.

then I decided to get out of the stock and into Bitcoin or crypto. this is my excuse
1. There is no loss in investing in Bitcoin or crypto, as long as we are patient, we will surely get profits.
2. Trading time is 24 hours 7 days so you can sell assets and cash out at any time.
3. You can monitor the progress of the project... you can check this year's coin roadmap.
4. Amazing technology and ideas.... for example if you research tokens, BNB coins can be used for saving, staking, launchpad and borrowing and even crypto insurance.
5. profits. but the risk is really big, that's why not everyone has to be all in on one coin... 100% profit take the capital then buy a coin that is still cheap but the project is good. I myself apply finance in Bitcoin 60% and Altcoin 40%.

Of course it depends on our purpose of buying stock, if we are aiming for the long term then I suggest buying stocks related to the property and banking business, in my country the finance and property business has very good prospects.

I agree with gold stocks and real estate because currently gold is indeed one of the stocks that have the potential to develop in the future and this is not much different we invest in Bitcoin, but for film and banking stocks I am not sure that I can get profits in the long term because currently there is very much competition they have to face in the world of cinema so to get very thin profits, So the stocks we choose now that must have potential for the future and your advice is indeed very appropriate.

Why buy shares if you are in bitcointalk forum and it offers the best investment there is. Buy Bitcoin! It's already a share of just 21 million that will be published. Even if you buy just one of it, someday it will be a big deal.
Stocks are going down unless they are also holding cryptocurrencies. Real estate is also down, inflation is here and soon money will be printed wildly taking the value of each currency. There's really nowhere to run anymore or put our money in, cryptocurrency is the only safe haven if you want the value of your money to either go up or stick to its price for a long time.

Let's face it - investing in any business is a risk. There are a lot of nuances that can negatively affect the business and your investment.  Selecting objects for investment is a very delicate matter, and here it is important to evaluate the potential, the prospects, the "originality of the technology" and much more. And even with a high-quality study, there will still be risks. But as of today, the areas I have mentioned are areas where there are risks, but in the case of a positive development of the situation, they guarantee a good return. This is not a recommendation, these are my thoughts Smiley

You need to choose the right direction in stocks, and firms that are firmly on their feet. Even large ones sometimes misfire and you will lose more, plus the market is not growing steadily and can roll back very quickly.
