It's not required, but certainly worth doing. It helps notify the rest of the community that the member already has an open loan. |

I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. By rights I should have used negative on that one asking for non-collateral loans. No doubt others will too.
Is the tag on a member of the request of a loan in the feedback a task required to the lender? Ive recommended it to Shasan and he seems to be doing it. |

This is my first loan, so I'm still a bit slow.
That's an understatement. Did you bother looking at the trust page of the borrower? Did you bother looking up his post history? No, you say? It shows. He's made a total of 16 posts so far this year (with that throwaway account anyway,) four of which were loan requests. Three got denied, lol. It's been nearly 42 hours since you've sent the money, and this worthless account has yet to log on to confirm that he's received your generous gift loan. |

I agree with HedgeFx, and I warn the OP from sending any kind of loan to the user. The OP has done a mistake previously by sending a loan to a low rank user and if this time he somehow makes the same mistake then his money will be gone forever. I recommend OP to be careful while sending loans, and it's very risky to send loans to low level users because they can run away with your money. You must have to learn about lending better before accepting loan requests, otherwise you will end up losing your money. |

This is a shady way for ask loan I'd take any worldly advice from HedgeFx with a healthy dose of salts given HedgeFx repaid two loans yesterday then has immediately taken out yet another loan for the same amount with the same lender barely 200 minutes later. The amount of their loans and their frequency together with the short intervals of hours or just minutes between repaying then reapplying is indicative of a serious gambling habit. Hopefully the OP doesn't fall for any more sob story applications. |
